Our stay was wonderful! The house was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. It was very clean, and the bathrooms were spotless, which we really appreciated. The location was also very convenient, as it was close to the main restaurants, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. We also took the host’s recommendation for an in-home massage, and it was exceptional—definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The only minor issues were that the air conditioning was a little inconsistent at times, and the neighborhood on the way to the house felt a bit rough at first. However, once we arrived at the property, we felt completely comfortable and safe. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful, clean, and comfortable place to stay.

Our family loved our stay at Casa Violeta! The design and aesthetic are a 10/10—every detail is beautiful. The location is ideal, just a 5–10 minute walk to Granada’s main square. The private courtyard and plunge pool were a favorite. After hot days exploring, it was the perfect place to cool off and recharge. The beds were comfortably firm, each with both a soft and firm pillow, and there were plenty of towels. The views were wonderful. The host’s recommendations truly made our trip. Garden Café, Isletas El Espino, Alberto as our tour guide, and Manuel for a massage helped create the perfect first visit to Granada. One note: you’ll hear roosters in the morning, which we loved because it added to the authentic experience. If you’re a light sleeper, maybe bring earplugs. Thank you for helping make this a magical trip for our family. We can’t wait to stay at Casa Violeta again!

Casa Violeta was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Nicaragua. The house is even more beautiful in person, every detail feels intentional, from the architecture and colorful interiors to the gorgeous courtyard and pool. It has so much character and manages to feel both incredibly stylish and completely relaxing. The location was perfect for exploring Granada, while still feeling like a private little oasis to come home to. We especially loved being able to enjoy slow mornings, relax by the pool, and even organize massages at the house. It was the perfect home base for our time in Granada and made the entire experience feel extra special. Casa Violeta is the kind of place you genuinely don’t want to leave. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, beautifully designed stay in Granada.

A beautiful space to go and unwind

Our stay was incredible and the flexibility at checkout with an added 30 minutes was gracious of the host. One of the best properties I’ve stayed at personally.

This house is absolutely beautiful and was a perfect stay for us in Granada. The host was very responsive, easy check-in and the kids loved swimming in the pool. Easy walk to restaurants & very secure.

Katalina’s home is absolutely stunning! It was everything I had imagined and hoped it would be— and somehow even more! The design is incredible, such elegance and comfort, the ambience day or night, rain or shine, just oozes luxury vacation vibes. All of the little touches were appreciated— from the Nicaraguan art, super high speed fans, each hanging light and potted plant, to the friendly staff, local recommendations and even Spotify playlists provided to enjoy on the Bluetooth speaker. I can’t wait to come back! Also I’ll mention that we never once felt the need for a car or taxi, we walked to the lakefront pier, all around the centre of town in every direction and not only felt safe but thoroughly enjoyed sightseeing, all of the great restaurants, and walking home after. If you’re even considering another place to stay— don’t! THIS is the best spot in Granada!

WOW! This house is amazing! Friendly local neighborhood and a short walk to incredible restaurants and the city center. Take all Katalina’s suggestions and get a massage from Manuel at the house and go on a tour with Alberto. We will be back!
