3BR Home in Quepos

Tara

Excellent, 2 weeks ago

We had a lovely stay in Quepos at Jorge’s house. It matched the description and photos perfectly. Jorge greeted us on arrival and was responsive throughout our stay to any questions we had. Manuel Antonio National Park was one of his recommendations, we loved our day trip there, especially the beach and all the monkeys we saw. Thanks Jorge.

Our stay at Jorge's place was great! Jorge was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful from the moment we booked. He even arranged all of our excursions at discounted rates, which made planning so much easier. We did the ATV tour, jet skiing, and visited the national park—every experience was amazing. He also gave us the great tip to bring cash, which helped us get even better prices. Although our stay was short and we weren't at the house very much, we still had the opportunity to enjoy the wildlife. We saw howler monkeys in the afternoons between excursions and squirrel monkeys in the mornings, which was such a memorable experience. The property is conveniently located just a 5–10 minute drive from downtown Quepos, where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets, restaurants, and the local atmosphere. If you're looking for a host who goes above and beyond to make your trip enjoyable and stress-free, I highly recommend staying at Jorge's place!

We enjoyed two lovely nights here as a family of 6. Plenty of space for us. I appreciated that there was laundry available AND that detergent was supplied. Kitchen accessories could be improved a bit-- knives were dull and having a kitchen towel would be nice. (Yes, there is a knife sharpener, but it did little to improve the knives.) Will a few little upgrades in the kitchen, this house would be perfect. The house is in a hilly, residential neighborhood. Quiet enough. We didn't see the amazing wildlife from the house, but that's not within anyone's control. We appreciated having space to spread out. Jorge was a pleasure to work with. Use Waze to navigate in Costa Rica-- even then, the pin that was sent to us within Waze didn't get us all the way to the house. But I don't think that's the host's fault. We had a difficult time overall finding "addresses" of several of our places to stay. Thank you for a nice experience!

Host Response

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure hosting you. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the kitchen. We'll inspect the knives to make sure they're in excellent condition. Kitchen towels are provided in the kitchen drawers. Regarding the location, Manuel Antonio is known for its hills, so most neighborhoods and roads in the area have some elevation. We also provide a link that typically guides guests directly to the house, although we understand that navigating Costa Rica's unique addressing system can sometimes be challenging. Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you and your family back in the future!

Our family of 4 had a great stay at Jorge's place. The home was exactly as described in the listing; clean, comfortable, and incredible views to the forest behind the house. We were visited by Howler, Capuchin and Spider monkeys every day and enjoyed toucans and macaws that would stop off in the trees in full view from the back deck . The property was well maintained, and came equipped with everything that we needed to prepare meals when we chose to eat in. It’s conveniently located and a short drive to many local attractions. Tour companies even picked us up directly from the home. The house is located on a steep street so traffic can be loud as some vehicles strain to get up the hill during peak travel hours. Jorge was an excellent communicator and personally greeted us when we arrived. I would recommend staying here to any group looking for a base for activities in and around Manuel Antonio. The host recommended a visit to Nauyaca waterfall which we loved.
