Tanyia And Rod

This is our first time to Costa Rica. We loved this beautiful place and this beautiful home. It was relaxing, clean and peaceful. The views were stunning. We loved the quiet. It is a drive to surrounding areas. We did the Go Adventure horseback riding, tubing, ziplining and rappelling and the Mistico Park hanging bridges in La Fortuna. It is a long drive to get to those places. But absolutely beautiful. The pool and restaurants close by are awesome! We were not disappointed! Hosts are very friendly! Our family of six fit perfectly and we will come back! Pura Vida! 🇨🇷

Myself and the family had a great stay. The house was as described and location is amazing. The views from the house are stunning! Tanyia and Rod were very attentive and made everything very easy. They made great recommendations on sites to visit and places to eat.

Our hosts were amazing. From the beginning, they helped us find the accommodation that best suited the needs of our group. It was a large group of 7 adults and 4 children. We all slept comfortably in our spaces. Everything was ready for our arrival. The place was spacious, clean and tidy. The pool is close to the property with a nice atmosphere. The view is spectacular. Thank you for all the help!

Tanyia was an excellent host; the house is very nice with a view of the lake. There is also plenty of vegetation near the house, so we saw toucans, spider monkeys, and howler monkeys.

Excelente y belle lugar. The house is very cozy and is in a very quiet area. Lots of nature; you can see the lake and many birds. The hosts are very friendly and willing to help. 100% recommended.

The house was amazing with an amazing view. Easily located to get access to La Fortuna and Monteverde (both an equal drive). The boys loved the wildlife and the recommendations were amazing! Super responsive to questions and out of our experience one of the best hosts we have ever had.

Above and beyond in all respects. House: clearly a home built for the owners and does not feel like a rental. The house is immaculate with high-end furnishings, comfortable beds, nice windows/intact screens, indoor-outdoor living spaces, high-end appliances, and comes with condiments, including coffee! Location: the views in the images cannot do justice to the beauty of this location. We had stunning views of Lake Arenal, a lush forest, tucans out front, fireflies, immaculately maintained grounds, and a covered pool house equipped with toys, bathroom, outdoor kitchen, and a hot tub. All were clean; pool is solar heated. Hosts: Rod and Tanyia are easily the most responsive hosts I’ve met. They were helpful with directions, gave market and restaurant recommendations, and offered concierge services. The home and the location are magical enough for a five star rating, but the hosts took our stay (2 adults, 3 teenage children) to the next level. Thank you Rod and Tanyia!

This stay was a great way to end our vacation in Costa Rica. Although it isn't directly adjacent to some of the 'hot spots', it was in a nice middle ground to go to both La Fortuna and Monteverde. Plus having the drives to both places were spectacular. Was a cozy night in after some long and fun days. The area was perfect for relaxing and who doesn't love of a view of a gorgeous lake.

Excellent hosts! Open and timely communication. The house was beautiful with amazing views of the lake. Will recommend to family and friends and we would definitely stay again when we visit Costa Rica.

I host group trips for travelers in their 20's and just spent a week in Costa Rica. When traveling to Arenal and Fortuna, this place stood out and was the perfect home for my 5 friends and I. Tanyia and Rod were always extremely responsive and flexible when I said I'd be checking in at 1am because of traveling. They were helpful with local food recommendations, and even access to their own cafe where they make breakfast! Super kind, I was fortunate to meet them during my stay and they are truly such good, genuine people. They love being able to have a home to let myself and many others stay at to experience Costa Rica. Couldn't recommend this stay enough!

The house is at a very scenic location with amazing views of volcano. Its a really peaceful place to stay and we enjoyed every bit of it. Taniya and Rod are extremely response and friendly people and helped us make us stay very comfortable. They helped us with local recommendation and provided us all the insights of the area. Getting here was a little bit slower and slightly bumpy with a very small stretch of unpaved road but once you reach there you’ll feel amazing with the breathtaking views and calm and serene place. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to visit again.
