What a great stay in Uvita! The location was great and close to town and the beach, the property was beautiful and secluded, and the cabin and kitchen had everything. Walter and his wife were very helpful, nice, and welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Uvita.

Walter’s home is an absolutely lovely place to stay! He and his wife were both very friendly and helpful, and the casita extremely peaceful. The garden is beautiful we felt fully submersed in the beautiful nature of playa ballena and also very safe. Easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and a fantastic local fresh market ! Definitely would stay again.

finding this was one of the hardest places we had to do while in CR, but that didn't take away from how beautiful the property was. the unit was big and felt like our own little home. the other people living there and staying in the other units were very friendly. we were able to walk to the whale tale at low tide from his beach access which was about 2 hr walk there and back plus pictures. walter was even nice enough to give us cold beer for the troubles getting there which was really nice. we would recommend !
