Casa Grande Espíritu is the perfect tropical getaway. The casita is private, clean, and literally a 5-minute stroll to the beach for those unforgettable Playa Grande sunsets. I loved the layout of the 2 separate bedrooms both having their own identical kitchenettes. You can go out to Costa Rica with a friend on a dream surfing vacation and have the privacy of your own separate rooms. You won’t have to fight over who gets the “better room” because they’re identical! The high-speed WiFi and access to a modern washer and dryer are huge plus. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place to stay in Costa Rica! Yvonne and Dan were very kind and always available. House is very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. I would stay here again if we go back to Costa Rica. They had some flowers for us since we were celebrating our anniversary. Highly recommend.

Dan and Yvonne were awesome hosts. They were away the whole time but communication was on point and I was able to use the pool, yoga mat(s) and cold plunge whenever. The actual guest casita is perfectly stocked, clean, and located a quick walk away from the beach. If you are looking for a great place to surf grande, stay here!

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Dan was warm and welcoming. Awesome location, quick walk to the beach, close to local restaurants, stores and shops. We enjoyed the outdoor shower and pool after a day on the beach. It was great to have storage for surfboards and luggage. Everything was as described. We could ramble on about all the wonderful details but collectively they made us feel comfortable, accommodated and secure with access to everything to make you feel at home. It was perfect. Hope to go back!

My son and I stayed 4 nights at Dan and Yvonnes place and absolutely loved it. Everything was as described, even better! They were on property to answer any questions or make a recommendation if asked. The place was spotless and everything was like brand new, because it is. Nice added extras in both kitchenettes was a nice surprise. Beautiful and extremely secure property with outdoor shower and lovely pool available always. We would DEFINITELY stay here again on our next trip. Thanks for the great hospitality, Dan and Yvonne.

Had an amazing time staying at Dan and Yvonnes. The rooms are brand new very clean. They are equipped with everything you need. The location is very peaceful. saw a lot of critters while just sipping coffee outside including monkeys. The hosts were very responsive with any questions about the area and recommendations of local restaurants and activities. Walkable distance to beach and food/activities.

Fantastic accommodation and hosts. We loved the casitas, beds, bathroom and kitchenettes were great and new. Everything was super clean. Hosts included some food to get us started (eggs, butter, etc). We felt super safe. There is a refreshing clean pool, outdoor shower and everything else you may need. We found the area great to visit all the surrounding beaches while staying at a peaceful and safe location. It had hot water, strong ACs and laundry. I can’t think of anything that we didn’t like. Awesome Airbnb!

Being the very first guests in Dan‘s and Yvonne‘s casita was a great experience for us. We arrived Thanksgiving evening and were invited spontaneously to the turkey dinner they had with their friends and neighbors - a really great experience of our first Thanksgiving. We enjoyed the evening very much and got some very good hints. Dan and Yvonne helped us every day to arrange our day and were very supportive for all our requests. The casita is brand new and the equipment is very high standard. Maybe not fully complete yet, but anything missing they helped us in getting it The Playa Grande is close and you can enjoy one of the best sundowns worldwide in walking distance. Dan and Yvonne are great hosts and if you have the chance to stay - take it. You will love it
