We loved our stay at ShangriLi! Monkeys visited every day! Beautiful home in such a cool location. Nosara has so much to offer. Our favorite experiences were with Tico owned businesses. The host, Steve, connected us with a wonderful concierge who was tremendously helpful. Her chef recommendations were amazing. The common area of the house gets warm at night ... but we expected that in July. Weather was perfect! Can't wait to come back!

Great house, super comfortable!

We absolutely loved our stay here! 10/10 would recommend! The view is unreal, and the backyard with the pool overlooking all of Playa Guiones was easily one of the highlights of the trip. While in the backyard, we saw and heard howler monkeys, spotted iguanas, and watched so many beautiful birds flying over the forest. It felt incredibly tropical, peaceful, and relaxing. The inside of the house was just as special. It’s cozy and comfortable, with great beds, amazing artwork, surfboards, and a vibe that makes it feel like a real home. The whole place has so much character. We honestly can’t wait to come back!

Wish I could pack my bag and go back to Steve's place tomorrow. Such AMAZING place and an incredible view! During our stay, we kept getting up earlier and earlier to enjoy the place to it's fullest! House is nicely designed. Loved every room and details put into it. Felt right at home when we first stepped in. Steve and Brigette are wonderful hosts! From being SUPER responsive to great local recommendations (restaurants and activities) which made our trip spectacular! Everyone we met during our stay from Jackie, gardener, and activity hosts were so friendly and welcoming!

We had an amazing stay at Shangri-La in Nosara. Steve and Bridget have created a truly special home that is both luxurious and comfortable. The pool and views are incredible, and the house had everything we needed. Every detail was thoughtful, everything worked perfectly, and the rooms were excellent. The AC kept the home cool and comfortable, and our kids loved playing chess. We also appreciated the beach chairs, plenty of towels, and all the extras that made our stay easy and relaxing. Being up on the hill gave the property privacy and breathtaking scenery. A special thank you to Rachel, the housekeeper, who had the house beautifully prepared for our arrival. Her mid-stay visit was a wonderful reset, and she was so kind and helpful. Honestly, we wouldn’t change a thing. One of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in, and we would absolutely love to return. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Steve did not oversell his home. The environment is better than he says. Steve is an outstanding host and their place shows thoughtfulness and Love. You will enjoy each day unpacking a new little understanding of this homes features. As we did between flopping on the couch and giving each other silent glances.....

This is a total gem. The place is very nicely furnished and the whole place feels warm and hospitable. It doesn’t feel like a vacation rental but staying at a friends beautiful home. And Steve also makes you feel that way through his friendly and thoughtful communication. Couldn’t recommend it more

Steve was an outstanding host. He worked with us for several months, giving us helpful information for activities, transportation, rentals, restaurants, catering services, and many other items. Our stay was over Christmas and he even had a tree set up for us. We rent homes many times each year, and this was one of the best hosts I’ve encountered.

Our family of 4 spent an unforgettable week at this stunning property. From the moment we walked in and saw the view, we knew we found something special. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The property is impeccably maintained - every detail of the home reflects the care and attention of the hosts. It's clear the hosts take great pride in the property and genuinely enjoy sharing their slice of paradise with others. The decor reflected the local culture and all the furniture were of the highest comfort, cleanliness and quality, making it easy to relax and unwind. The hosts provided exceptional hospitality as they were always prompt, thorough and helpful before, during and after our stay. They also provided excellent recommendations with a focus on supporting local businesses, which made our experience even more authentic. We are truly grateful to have had this property as our base for exploring Nosara!

Steve and Brigitte were excellent communicators allowing for an easy check in after dark. The home is situated a top a hill with an amazing view of the ocean. Our first night we were delighted to enjoy an excellent dinner walking distance from the home -especially on a rainy night. Yet access to additional restaurants, shops, and beach activities was a quick drive down the hill. Steve provided ample recommendations for activities to suit our family with children of different ages. The bedrooms were spacious and exceedingly comfortable allowing for our kids to recharge as needed. Additionally, an open floor plan downstairs was perfect for games and family dinners. We enjoyed the privacy and security of the home and the thoughtful design. We would be blessed to return for another visit to Shangri-La. Thank you

Steve and Bridgett were amazing hosts from all the detailed communications and recommendations to checking in on us during our stay. We loved the house- it was so beautiful, possibly the very best location within Las Huacas and beautifully maintained. I wish my landscaper at home took as much care as theirs did! It was a great home base for all our adventures and so peaceful to wake up to that view and end the day in the stunning pool. We have found our new go to place in Nosara.

This place is a dream! The view, the pool, the proximity to town, beach & nearby hotels and restaurants. Steve was a great host who went out of his way to make sure our family trip was fantastic. The place was sparkling clean, the staff was kind. We highly recommend staying here!

Jaw-dropping views from every room. The whole living/dining area is indoor/outdoor because of enormous sliding glass doors. The infinity pool was spectacular. I did a lot of research and this was the best value considering the view. No one wanted to leave. Golf carts whisked us up and down the mountain to the beach and Main Street w ease. We’re definitely coming back.
