Nice accommodation, with simply equipped, small rooms, the furniture is a bit outdated in places. The location on the river is very nice. We were able to observe various animals near the property. The only downside was that there was a maximum of Breakfast is served until 8:30 am (after longer negotiations, max. until 8:40 am). We were on a tour from 6 AM to 9 AM and it was therefore not possible to enjoy the paid breakfast. No option was offered. More flexibility would certainly be desirable here.

We saw concerns before booking, but wanted the jungle experience. This is ABSOLUTELY an Ecolodge. The bed was terrible, but everything else was as we expected or MUCH BETTER. The people were AMAZING! The property is fantastic. There are 3 "rooms" in one bungalow, but the other 2 had no guests. We enjoyed the shared spaces very much and the hammocks hit the spot even when it was raining. Did I mention the bed was terrible? We read that the showers were cold, but figured out that it heats the water at the showerhead and if we turned it down the water got much warmer! That was a major win! The room was adequate and bathroom was a very small space, but we did not go to be in the room. The patio had plenty of seats and 2 hammocks. The main lodge had nice tables and there were hiking trails that spiderwebbed the back of the property. We enjoyed the place (awesome people and the seclusion), but learned we aren't in love with the "jungle" or at least not at the Ecolodge level.

From the moment we arrived and our cases were collected to the moment we left were with friendly welcoming helpful staff. The breakfast was great and the lounge area was super comfy. A great place where the staff organised trips and responded to any questions. I would highly recommend this hotel as a base for exploring the area.

Literally in the middle of a rainforest. So expect bugs and lots of insects but no complaints it’s their home and we’re just visiting! Also ate breakfast and dinner there and the food is AMAZING, very traditional home made style food but so delicious. Staff are super polite and friendly, 5 stars

Amazing place to stay! Surrounded by beautiful nature and a jungle just a few steps away. The host was very friendly and helpfull arranging for us different activities. Outside the room there was a lot of space to hang out and enjoy the sounds of the nature. The only issue that we had was that there was not always hot water to shower. But still definetely a place where i would love to come back and recommend.

We had a very nice stay. Meghan and the staff were extremely accommodating and concerned that we lacked nothing. They were also very helpful when booking excursions. Among other things, we visited a lovely organic farmer. Was very exciting. Also the guide on the rafting tour was able to tell us a lot about the many birds we were able to watch during the tour. We would come back.

It is a space with a path in the forest and next to a beautiful river.

We extended our stay here we loved it so much! You can enjoy nature from your room and then be on a trail in the jungle or on a rope swing by the river in just a couple of minutes. Wildlife is bustling and there are hammocks and benches about the property to spot wildlife from and enjoy some solitude. The owners and staff were helpful and warm, and the local guides / guide services we were recommended were personable and knowledgeable, which made for great experiences. We’re so grateful to Meghan and her family for sharing their paradise <3

The overnight stay at Meghan's was by far the best that could happen to us on our Costa Rica trip. Meghan, her family and employees were extremely friendly and spent a lot of time with us as guests. We can only recommend the chocolate tour and a hike through our own jungle, was very interesting. If we travel to Costa Rica again we will definitely stop by again.

Beautiful location. Great communication with host. They really went out of their way to accommodate us. Super friendly staff. Chose this location to break up our travel to Caribbean side and our only regret is that we didn’t have more time here. Food was great! Absolutely no complaints. You won’t regret staying here!

We spontaneously booked this place as a stopover for our trip and loved it. The location is super nice and there is a lot to do in the area. The food is also super delicious. Next time we will plan more time for this place.

A haven of peace! We loved seeing the howler monkeys close to the accommodation and the tour to watch the birds within walking distance of the hotel. The bus stop is at the end of the road and the welcome was perfect. We took the dinner option which was excellent. And the chocolate tour a stone's throw away is really worth doing! Go with your eyes closed!
