San Pedro was beautiful and Clive‘s place was in the perfect location, as it was very walkable to the beach as well as restaurants. I am a solo female traveler, and I always felt safe. It was really a pleasure to meet Clive and Wil. They were so kind and welcoming.

We spent three nights in San Pedro. Being at the end of the street allows you to have a quiet accommodation. There is a very nice rooftop. The place is cozy.

This place is perfect! It is very clean and came with everything we could want including filtered water. There is working air conditioning, too. It feels private but is very close to everything from restaurants to beaches to companies that can get you snorkeling and diving same day. We walked everywhere. It is in a downtown area so it feels like a great mix of locals spots and areas to shop for souvenir tshirts. Clive gave clear instructions how to get there (including the best ways to get from the international airport to San Pedro island). Will, who is very friendly and helpful, was waiting for us when we got there and quickly gave us a rundown. He was responsive if we needed anything. Everyone is so friendly and helpful!

Clive is terrific. We planned to take a taxi from the airport, but Clive was waiting for us when we landed. It was during carnival, and he was worried we wouldn’t be able to get a taxi. The place is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Bedrooms are small. One has a twin bed and the other a double bed. Perfect for two single travelers. We will return.

This was absolutely the perfect place to stay in San Pedro. Clive is an amazing host, extremely responsive and helpful leading up to our stay, met us for check in, and provided helpful information about the area. The unit is just as described, was well stock and spotlessly clean. It is in the perfect location, there is a spot to park a golf cart (they're everywhere in San Pedro) right in front of the unit, but things are so close, we walked everywhere we went. I highly recommend this place for anyone going to San Pedro, you will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed staying at Clive’s. It was close to main section of San Paulo which made walking easy. It is very close to the Caribbean Sprinter dock which made our trip to Caye Caulker quite easy. Clive was there to meet us and had lots of suggestions. There was a full kitchen but between the heat and the cost at the grocery stores we didn’t use it. We did appreciate the potable water he provided and made ice cubes in the freezer. There were 2 bedrooms which could be nice for a couple travelling travelling with a friend. We would recommend Clive’s place to other travellers.

We had a very nice stay at Clive's. Both he and Will are available anytime to assist or make suggestions. The room looked exactly like the pictures. Walkable to lots of restaurants, grocery stores and across the street from the beach. Lots of room to park your golf cart. Very quiet area with almost no road noise. We felt very secure and safe. Nice roof top terrace to relax. Washing machine is available although we didn't use it. Would highly recommend Clive's place to others and hope to return one day. Thanks again Clive and Will.

Great place! Walkable to lots of restaurants, along beach, etc. Host was great. Location felt safe. No golf cart noise, which was great.

What we liked the most was the location. We were across the street from the ocean and the beach. There was a dock near by where we were able to book a boat trip to the barrier reef and shark alley. Down the beach a few hundred yards was a great bar with good food and music every night. Also near by was the ferry dock that your could use to get to Caye Calker and to Belize City. We will be back to Clives place again!

Clive is very welcoming. Loved the central location, close to everything. Kitchen fully equipped which we enjoyed. Wifi did not reach the main bedroom and is the strongest in the dining room for future Airbnb guests to note. Would definitely book again with Clive!

Loved staying with Clive! The Airbnb is perfectly located in central San Pedro. If you are scuba diving at San Pedro (with Amigos Del Mar or Scuba School), this is the Airbnb for you due to it’s 2 minute walk! The rooms are comfortable, clean, and has everything you need. Would love to stay with Clive again!

Let me atart by saying this place is amazing, safe, and within walking distance of 90% of your activities. My original flight got delayed and it being late i wasnt sure how i was going to get to the location since it was my first time there. After communicating this to Clive he showed up without me even asking. This started my vacation off with 5 stars. Clive is onsite and makes you feel super comfortable. I greatly appreciate his hospitality and highly recommend his place.

Wow totally easy to get to all the area beach bars and restaurants. Friendly people. Great suggestions. Just wish the weather was more cooperative. :). Was a nice birthday trip!

Clive’s place is a great option! He and Will are on-site if you need anything at all. We felt safe having someone around and there’s a gate to the courtyard for added security. The apartment was as described and had everything we needed for our stay. There was a great list of recommendations around the island. Plenty of parking for your golf cart. Great value and wonderful host! We would stay here again.

My friend and I both had a wonderful stay at Clive’s. Communication was great from the moment we booked to the time we left. Good location, shops and restaurants within walking distance and other areas/things within reach with a golf cart - the airbnb was a very short/easy walk from the ferry dock. The air bnb was clean and 5gal of filter water was provided. There is one ac unit in the bedroom, so it can be a bit slow to cool, but we didn’t mind it. WiFi available, a little bit slow in each bedroom vs the living room area, but again we didn’t mind. Safety did not feel to be an issue. Would stay again and feel comfortable recommending to family or friends.

I enjoyed my stay in the Lighthouse apartment so much. I was in a deep personal process, and felt like the home was able to hold me in all of the ways I needed throughout my week stay. Surrounded by a lovely community, lots of wonderful food, & many amazing artists. I look forward to coming back. 🌸

There are two good things: First, Clive and his assistant Will are very friendly and responsive. Will picked us up from the airport and Clive provided us with all necessary information. Will also helped us wash our rash guards after diving. Second, the location is awesome. It is situated at the end of a main street. The area is peaceful, but everything (restaurants, dive shops, supermarkets, the water taxi station, and the airport) is within walking distance (around 4- 7 blocks). Overall, the place is great for two travelers.

Clive was great, he was very responsive and helpful. The location was great, very walkable. The only thing I would note is that the ac unit that is in the apartment mainly cools down the main bedroom, it is a bit warm in the rest of the apartment. It was bearable but just good to know before hand.

We are so happy that we found Clive's AirBnb. The location is easy to get to, walkable to all of San Pedro, but also at the end of a one-way street so it's quiet and feels like you are walking home at the end of the day. The apartment is clean, has AC and fans, and is perfect for two people who need two bedrooms. We appreciated all the little touches like the maps and locally themed decorations and supplies. Though we did not use it because of the amazing restaurant choices in the area, the kitchen was fully stocked. One could easily stay at Clive's long-term. The apartment is also located one very short block from the ocean and the rooftop area available to guests offers a view of sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the sound. Finally, Clive's communication was outstanding and his staff were quite helpful. We very much hope to return.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Clive & Will and their beautiful personalities. Friendly, accommodating, helpful, funny… We felt like family at the Lighthouse Apts.- PERIOD! My SNL and I stayed 28 days -yup😀 we felt safe and looked out for-which was very important to us being without our husbands. The property is quiet and clean. Had everything we needed. Walking distance to all the restaurants stores and the beach. We enjoyed and will miss our beach spot apartment! We were sad to leave- but will DEFINITELY be back soon! You cannot go wrong spending your time and money at The Lighthouse!

Clive's place in San Pedro was the perfect home base for our scuba diving trip in San Pedro. As 2 young female travelers, we couldn't have felt safer. The location is unbeatable - close enough to the main area of San Pedro, but just off the main driving path so it wasn't noisy. Since we planned to spend multiple days diving, the location was ideal for walking to our dive shop and many others in the area. It's also nearby both ferry departure docks, and a number of restaurants and shops. We'd only recommend renting a golf cart if you plan to travel to Secret Beach and more northern parts of the island - otherwise, everything we needed was within a 10-minute walk. The AirBnB was spacious, with lots of beach towels and drinking water - 2 necessities! Clive was an excellent host who was incredibly responsive and proactive in communicating, plus so warm and friendly! He met us at the ferry dock upon arrival to show us to the AirBnB, and gave us lots of fantastic local recommendations.

The only bad thing I can say about Clive’s place is that we had to leave. I wish we were still there. The location is right in downtown San Pedro, so we only rented a golf cart for a couple of days for some longer excursions. Most days we could get around on foot. Clive connected us with a local tour guide, which worked out great. It was easy to find, since Clive picked us up the airport and gave us a rundown of the area in person. The apartment itself was exactly as shown. Clean, comfortable, and we felt right at home. Very highly recommended.

Clive was awesome! He lives on the property so he is extremely easy to get ahold of and offer local advice for food and activities. He met us when we arrived on the water taxi and even offered us a ride to the airport when we left. He also went out of his way to try to find us a soccer jersey for our son since none of the local vendors carried them. Highly recommend staying with Clive. 6 stars!

Clive is a great host and the space is clean, accessible and in a great location. It was an easy walk from the water taxi and Clive graciously met us when we got off the boat and walked to the AirBnB with us. We were close to the sea and the center of town, yet the location is off the beaten path and nice and quiet. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in San Pedro.

Clive is a great host at a wonderful property in the heart of San Pedro. The unit was clean, spacious with a modern kitchen. We appreciated the use of the washer and drying area in the roof. Also secure parking for our golf cart. A great stay here.

This was our 1st visit to Belize and Clives place did not disappoint. We spent 8 days here. His intro on the airbnb site is spot on. Don't let the words radio station sway you, it is calming and won't wake you. Central Park is a 2 minute walk with a small beach. Belize is not known for its beaches and therecare no chairs to lounge on. Across the street is a pathway directly to the beach where you can walk either direction. A simple "no thank you " to any walking vendor. We rented a golf cart through Clive with Polo golf carts, across the street to the left 2 minutes. Extremely friendly folks. Clive knows where to go for anything you need. Will, a worker and student on site was extremely nice to chat with and help with anything I needed...mostly laundry help. Lol If you are looking for a place to be while you are building your own home, you will be comfortable, safe and secure here. Thanks Clive and Will, you are family now. We will be back.

When Clive tells you he got you, believe him. I wanted to do all things on my own, which was not the smartest move. Clive’s place was a fantastic place to stay for our time in San Pedro. It was extremely clean. The A/C kept us cool at night for sleeping and the beds were very comfortable. Filtered water was provided for drinking. It was very quiet compared to the rest of San Pedro because most of the golf cart traffic turns off from the main street before it gets to Clive’s place. A large courtyard with a gate separates the house from the street which makes it feel more private. Clive was out of town when we visited but his son, Wil, met us at the water taxi and took us to the apartment and gave us recommendations for nearby restaurants. When we left I accidentally left my sweatshirt in the apartment and Wil found it and was kind enough to bring it down to the water taxi as we waited to board. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Stores, restaurants, oceanfront, and tour operators are all within walking distance. Would not hesitate to visit again.

I'm native to Belize and decided to stay in an AirBnB this go around on La Isla Bonita. Clive's place was a perfect fit. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from the middle of town. Surrounded by awesome restaurants, boutiques, and small grocery stores for those little things you may have forgotten to pack. Clive is a great host and even picked us up from the airport. Which was truly going above and beyond. The home is equipped with a decent sized kitchen and any utensils you may need to cook at the house if you want to save some cash. Drinking water was plentiful which is essential during dry season. The bathroom was stocked with soap, towels and rags. Great water pressure for the island. The rooms were comfy for a stay away from home. Both rooms have ceiling fans and one room has A/C with a separator that does a decent job in keeping the other room pretty cool. The seating area is comfy. It has a great patio with chairs and allows you to work out if you don't want to break your regimen.

Clive is the perfect host. My daughter and I spent a week in San Pedro scuba diving. This place is less than a quarter mile from the dive boat piers and all the local eating places are close by. We did not even rent a golf cart… we just walked. Perfect host. Perfect place for what we needed. My daughter is 18 and picky. Even she called it perfect for us.

Clive and his assistant Will were a great help for everything. they're super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. they even helped get us a discounted golf cart.

The best thing about this place is how quiet it is. San Pedro has lots of golf cart traffic, but this place is on a quiet street. (The through traffic turns before that street, so it doesn't go by the apartment). Close to large super market and nice bakery. Clive is helpful in every way. It's nice that he can arrange a taxi for you, recommend a golf cart rental, lend you an umbrella... The place is very clean. Being on the ground floor is very convenient. It is secure, and there is ample room for parking a golf cart if you rent one.

Clean, accurate listing. Located right in downtown San Pedro, walking distance to the beach, ferry, San Pedro Airport, and plenty of restaurants. You don't have to get a golf cart rental if you book here. Very good host who is accessible for questions. He met me at the airport which was very appreciated. Great stay!

Everything written in the positive reviews is spot on! To me, being at the Lighthouse, was like staying with family. Safety, cleanliness, and easy conversation were welcomed features of Clive's place. It was as if I'd stayed there before because i felt so at home. Full disclosure ... I typically spend a minimum of an hour cleaning, upon arrival, at any accommodations. Not necessary at the Lighthouse, but if I had felt compelled to, cleaning supplies are readily available. You're staying on an island, so insects and geckos are expected. This Big City girl was not affected by that realization at all. I saw two geckos the week we were there; one was a baby. They didn't bother me and I didn't bother them. Smile! I've stayed at hotels and other apartments on previous visits and had encountered water bugs, but not here. For us, the location is an easy walk to wherever we wanted to go. We rented a golf cart for 24 hours and drove the island, but didn't find one to be necessary for the duration of our holiday. Fantastic host, apartment and location. Looking forward to my return trip!

If you want to stay in the middle of everything, yet have the privacy of your own place, this is a must-stay! The first-floor apartment was perfect for my husband and I on our honeymoon. With two bedrooms, another couple could join if you REALLY like them. We were able to walk from the water taxi, to our dive shop, and restaurants and bars. The airport is walkable, but a bit of a hike. Clive was an amazing host, helping us get a golf cart rental worked out and delivered, gave advice on shops and restaurants, and looked out for us overall. We fully intend on staying with Clive again the next time we're in San Pedro!
