This was a very good stay close to everything we wanted to do! The outdoor space and pool were super nice. The house felt safe and had everything we needed. It is in a neighborhood, so you can expect neighborhood noises, dogs, etc. We thought it was a much more authentic way to travel than in a resort. Rodrigo and his team were very responsive and quick to fix things. You will need a signal the first time you arrive to work the gate.

Great place. We loved the pool. Rodrigo was great to work with.

This is the perfect house to rent for your trip to Costa Rica. It is in a great location, centrally located to everything. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 with a nice kitchen. We made breakfast every morning at the house and ate in the outdoor area. There is a nice little Soda and mini market just a 2 minute walk away. The house is also very secure. And one of the cleanest AirBNBs I have been in. Rodrigo was a very responsive host. Would highly recommend.

Rodrigo’s house was comfortable and clean. It is located a short drive off the main road of La Fortuna in a quiet neighborhood. A large grocery is on the corner where you make the turn towards the house. The outdoor patio and grill area was a nice area to hang out, even during heavy rains. There is one large bathroom with the master bedroom; a second bathroom was primarily used for those staying in the other bedrooms. It was quite small, but our family didn’t have trouble taking turns. Rodrigo was very responsive to any questions we had and made good recommendations based on the topic. Checkin was easy once we figured out where we were. Rodrigo was responsive to help us through. Checkout was a breeze. My recommendation would be to put the Waze hyperlink with the address on every communication regarding check in. We were not as familiar with Waze and there were many emails that led to confusion.

Great house close to town, super fun waterside pool for the kids, AC units in every room including the living room, well stocked indoor and outdoor kitchen. Excellent communication from the host, and clear instructions. Make sure you have phone service to access the digital gate entry when you arrive, otherwise there is a manual gate with a key / lockbox. The neighbors have a dog that thinks he’s a rooster, he awakes and barks early every morning. No fault of the property or the host, just the nature of being in close proximity to town with neighbors. We loved our stay and would visit this property again. Thank you!

Rodrigo’s home was perfect. We were with our 3 boys (10yrs old) and they absolutely loved the slide and pool! Couldn’t get them out!!! The location is absolutely perfect. 6mins from Fortuna Waterfall, the town, Northfields coffee and chocolate tour, everything was close by. Perfect location. Rodrigo helped with recommendations and was responsive right away. Everything was perfect. Would stay here again ❤️

What a great place to stay! The house was even better than we expected from the pictures. The outside space was perfect for our family of 4, with plenty of seating and an amazing pool that the kids played in every day. You could easily fit another adult or 2 without issue. We walked to the restaurant at the eco lodge right next door (amazing experience, feels like you're eating in the jungle), to North Fields for the coffee and chocolate tour, to the pizza place on the main road (La Cava), and even into the main downtown of La Fortuna (although this was a bit of a longer walk). And best of all, Rodrigo was an awesome host with a ton of great recommendations. He hooked us up with a great table at La Street Bistro to watch a World Cup game, recommended the perfect sloth tour (Sloth's Territory, which was a few minutes outside town, but the exact experience our family was looking for), and was super responsive to anything we needed.

My family of 5 had a great stay! The pool and outdoor table area were perfect in the evenings after all of our activities. We ate breakfast out there every morning. Grocery close by & the beds were comfortable.

This is an amazing vacation rental. The location is very close to Fortuna and the waterfall. The house is very private and quiet. It was nice enjoying the pool after a day of adventures in Fortuna. I highly recommend this vacation rental.

Our little one looked forward to the pool and waterslide from the moment we booked it—and it did not disappoint. The house and grounds were beautifully maintained. Arriving was easy and the locks and keys worked exactly as instructed. We appreciated having easy, secure parking. The house was fully stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. There were even welcoming snacks and drinks when we arrived. We didn’t stay long enough to also enjoy the outdoor patio and kitchen, but it was also lovely. The beds were comfortable, the AC blew cold in each room, and there were dark curtains available to help with the 5 am sun! Restaurants and shops were conveniently located within a short drive (and possible walk) from the house. We enjoyed the Soda Tita Rosa (walkable) for great, local food and Anch’io for delicious woodfired pizza and possibly the best cappuccino I had during our whole trip. Overall the house was a perfect resting spot between adventures!

This place was a stellar deal. We loved having our own pool with slide and the outdoor patio area was just great. We took advantage of it for coffee in the morning and grilling in the evening. There was a neighborhood party or something to that effect the first night complete with drums and trumpets until 1245am but I suspect that isn't the norm. Our second night was very quiet. This was also the only stop of our trip with 3 rooms and we appreciated the extra space.

Great stay and excellent host! Rodrigo was incredibly responsive from start to finish. The place was spotlessly clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, and his housekeeper was always on hand to help out with any minor issues. We had a group of 5, and everyone slept very comfortably. The location was also perfect—super close to all of our local activities. The only minor downside is that the car entrance gate relies on the internet, which could be a bit inconvenient at times. Overall, though, it’s an excellent place and we had a wonderful stay

The home was exactly as described. Spacious, clean, and welcoming. We enjoyed the outdoor living area, the pool with slide, and the ease of walking to close restaurants. Communication with Rodrigo was easy.

A place to rest and have fun with family

This place was incredible. The house alone was the perfect amount of space and charm. It wad our first time visiting Costa Rica and the 6 of us had a great time. The home is very walkable, there is a soda close by called Soda Tita Rosa, very good! We also walked to the coffee tour that was down the street. The views of the volcano as you walk the neighborhood is gorgeous. Would recommend!

I loved the thoughtful touches, like the welcome drinks, snacks and local recommendations provided by Rodrigo! He was proactive in communication and ensured our check-in was seamless. True hospitality! Took a minute to figure out the gate and needing to sign on to wifi for it to work but we figured out a system that worked for us. The pool was great and seating area was used daily.

Wonderful outside area and pool. Friendly host. House matched the description. Liked the Soda in walking distance. Could see monkeys in the trees across from the house. A very pleasant stay overall.

Our family has a wonderful time in La Fortuna and loved our stay in the house. Everything was clean and neat, with brand new kitchen appliances and beautiful bathrooms. The outdoor space is fantastic with a beautiful pool and lounge area, and a wonderful place to enjoy a meal outside. We loved that we could walk to the restaurant next door and the butterfly sanctuary. And there are so many other restaurants and activities in downtown La Fortuna less than a five minute drive away. Definitely recommend this house for a family visit!

This is a wonderful home with a fantastic and responsive host. It was perfect for our family. The pool was outstanding and a wonderful place to relax and refresh in between excursions. The location was perfect— very close to the town of La Fortuna but removed enough to feel peaceful and in nature. Everything was super clean and we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the pool on the property and the slide was a huge hit! This home is located near the attractions in La Fortuna so things are easy to access. And the home offers plenty of privacy. Thank you for our stay!

Fantastic place in La Fortuna!

We had an amazing time staying here. Private yard. The undercover patio is great for when it rains. The sound of the water from the waterside is relaxing. Close drive to everything you wanted to do. There’s a soda one minute walk up the road to get quick food. We had howler monkeys in the tree next door putting on a show. We would definitely recommend this place

We had a lovely stay overall. The location is, convenient.. The house itself is attractive and well maintained. The pool area is especially nice and well set up; unfortunately, the weather was cooler than expected so we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we had hoped. That said, the slide was a big hit and added a lot of fun to the space. The bedroom was comfortable, though it’s worth noting that the queen‑size bed is quite soft you really sink into it, which may be a preference thing for some guests. One small issue we encountered was that we needed to purchase a lighter in order to light the stove, as one wasn’t available on site. Aside from that, everything was as described. Overall, this is a great place to stay with a fantastic location and enjoyable amenities. We would recommend it, especially for guests who enjoy outdoor features and a peaceful setting.

Rodrigo’s place was peaceful and private. The home is close to great restaurants and the La Fortuna Waterfall. The pool area is amazing. I would recommend this rental property to anyone planning to visit the Ka Fortuna area.

Great Airbnb for a family of four. Kitchen and bbq areas has all the amenities and comfort you need. BBQ patio and pool area were amazing. Our kids enjoyed the pool for hours and could have played longer had we not had excursions lined up. The slide was fun. One room had a bunk bed which the kids liked and there was a little desk area for me and my laptop. Very centrally located but not in the middle of town.

We only stayed 2 nights, but we really liked the place, perfectly clean and organized. Traveling with children, obviously the pool was one of the most important points, good size for fun and with a slide. We particularly liked the location, because it is a little outside the center of La Fortuna, which makes it feel more private and definitely a very quiet environment. All this without being remote, 5 minutes by car to the nearest supplier, restaurants, etc... and 10 minutes drive to the center of La Fortuna. The amenities of the house were very useful (A/C in each room, internet, full kitchen, terrace for eating outdoors and internet) it is definitely a perfect option for families who, in some way, need to be online for work reasons. In short, a highly recommended place in one of the most touristy areas of the country.

Beautiful and comfortable place.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in La Fortuna! The location was perfect — close to Arenal Volcano, hot springs, and all the adventure activities we wanted to do, yet peaceful and surrounded by nature. The views were absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset! The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the outdoor area — perfect for enjoying our morning coffee or just soaking in the tropical vibes.

We loved our stay at Casa Bruno! The house had everything that we needed, and the pool and outdoor dining area/grill were awesome. The house is in a perfect location - very close to town, restaurants, the volcano, hot springs, and the rainforest. Rodrigo and Yanciny were very helpful and always quick to respond when we had any questions. Felt very safe. Would definitely recommend!

Loved our stay! Was the perfect amount of space for our family and our all kids loved having their own beds. The pool with the waterslide was a huge hit and our kids didn’t want to leave the house because of it! It was the perfect distance to everything we wanted to explore in the area. Will definitely recommend and would stay again!

Stayed here with my wife and two daughters and we really loved it. They had a great pool with a slide which was cleaned every morning. Location was perfect just outside La Fortuna - provided quiet and wildlife sightings (toucans, hummingbirds and howler monkeys). Very close to a supermarket and walking distance to Northfield coffee and chocolate tours. One minor downside was the gate for the car, which had to be opened using a link on phone, but our cell service was weak and we couldn’t activate it easily from the outside. This wouldn’t be a problem for most people though, and Rodrigo was quick to respond. Everything else was great, the kids loved the pool and rooms were clean and comfortable. A great place to stay in this area!

The accommodation is as described, very clean. The pool has a good design, clean and perfect for the whole family. Rodrigo's service was timely and quick, according to what we needed. The very peaceful place.

The exterior was definitely the highlight for us. The sitting area, the pool, and the view of the volcano were enjoyed frequently. The interior was clean and functional. We had a power outage just before leaving for a whitewater trip. The hosts were very responsive to help us manually open the gate so we didn’t miss our appointment. We enjoyed our stay and proximity to town. A wonderful stay overall!

We enjoyed the stay in Casa Bruno house. The best value is the pool with slide - out children loved it. We appreciated the terrace with grill and perfect location close to the Arenal national park and La Fortuna waterfall.

We loved staying here! The location was great and we loved walking down the street to grab a bite to eat. The best part was the pool. The host kindly adjusted the schedule based on when my kids wanted to use the water slide. Would definitely stay here again.

Rodrigo's place was our first stop in our Costa Rica trip. The home was relatively easy to find and felt very secure. The gate requires an internet connection which was troublesome at times but we always eventually got it to work, and it automatically shut. Rodrigo was VERY responsive any time we had questions, including when we asked to turn the pool slide on in the evening of our final night. The location is central to everything, which is great. We did hear the neighbors, particularly their dogs, but mostly during daytime and it wasn't that big of a deal. We especially enjoyed the Eco Lodge next door for its restaurant and butterfly dome ($5pp) as well as Soda Tita Rosa where we ended up eating 3 different times! Our favorite activity was the "El Salto" (rope swing) which was free as well. Would definitely recommend!

This home was spacious and very comfortable. We only stayed in the master bedroom and didn’t cook but the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, as was the outdoor kitchen area. They provided coffee, water, a few beers, a few snacks and some staple cooking items which was amazing. The home was very clean as well. The pool, water slide, baby pool section, chair and laundry is such a nice set up and was incredibly clean. After searching for the home for over an hour, we messaged the host and it turned out they accidentally gave us the wrong address. Accidents happen. They were quick to respond and send us the right information. Also, accessing the front gate by using the WiFi was very frustrating to me as it doesn’t work the first few times so plan accordingly. Aside from those items, we had a wonderful stay and would stay again.

Rodrigo's place was great! The private pool was perfect after a day out in the heat and the slide was a blast. The beds were so comfortable - probably the most comfortable of anywhere we've stayed. The house has everything you could need - great indoor and outdoor space, washer and dryer, and parking. The house is very convenient to La Fortuna with a car which was perfect because it was quiet but only took a few minutes to get into town. Communication was easy. Highly recommended.

The house met everything detailed in the listing. I went with my children and they enjoyed the pool with its slide after the tours. Additionally, it had everything to make you feel comfortable during your stay.

Our family with young kids absolutely loved staying here!! Of course the slide and pool were the highlight, but there were so many great things: the outside seating/patio/bbq area was perfect. We saw so many birds, lizards, and frogs!! The house was so clean and the towels and linens were great quality. We walked next door to the Oasis and did the night walk- highly recommend that too! We also walked to North Fields for coffee and chocolate. Our trip was fabulous and we can’t say enough good things about the house. You should stay here!!

Casa Bruno was located in a perfect location for us, right near everything we wanted to see and do in La Fortuna! Close to restaurants, supermarkets, tours, hot springs, swimming spots, hiking, etc. etc. It was easy to find and fairly easy to get inside. We had a hiccup with the gate remote (the battery had died) so we messaged Rodrigo and someone was there within 5-10 minutes to assist us. He was extremely responsive and left us detailed instructions which was really helpful! Our kids loved the bunk bed and the master bedroom bed is one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in! :). We truly felt right at home! The pool was awesome, and everything was very well kept.

We had a great stay at Casa Bruno. There was room for all 5 of us girls to sleep. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the privacy & locked gate that kept our rental car safe. Rodrigo was very responsive and helpful in his communication with turning on the pool water slide and proving us with additional toilet paper. The location was perfect and in close distance to our tour scheduled at the hanging bridges and La Fortuna. waterfall. The tour company was able to do execute pick up and drop off right from the air BnB. The pool area had such an amazing view and was so fun to lounge around and swim in.

Great location!

Rodrigo was an excellent host and the house was very inviting with everything needed to comfortably enjoy our stay! We sat on the covered patio in the mornings to drink our coffee and watch the birds. The property is gated and fenced and felt very private. One morning we were woken up by the sound of Howler Monkeys nearby. They were close enough we watched them swing through the trees surrounding us! As a testament to the kind of host Rodrigo is, we had a 10 month old baby scheduled to be with us on this trip. Unfortunately at the last minute that part of our group had to cancel, however we arrived to the house completely ready for a baby, including a pack and play set up, high chair in the dining room, and a kid’s picnic table outside on the patio! We would definitely recommend Rodrigo’s place!

We loved our time here, the kids had a blast in the pool and the outdoor kitchen area was prefect for relaxing while they played. The house is close to town but still far enough away to feel secluded.

This is a lovely home in Arenal. Amazing location in La Fortuna. The home is an excellent airbnb home with all amenities as described. The kitchen was fully equipped. The rooms, linen, carpets were all very clean.

Wonderful house and wonderful hosts! We had a great time here over Christmas - kids loved the pool and it was lovely having so much space to ourselves. We had one issue with the BBQ gas and the canister was replaced literally within ten minutes, which was much appreciated. The little soda just a few houses down was really excellent for dinner and much better value than some of the bigger places. Thank you for having us and happy new year!

We had a great time in La Fortuna! Rodrigo and everyone were very helpful and responded immediately. Kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed sitting on the lanai, even in the rain, it was very sheltered. Beds are so cozy! It had everything that we needed. The only part that I was sensitive to was the busy road and barking dogs, but it all quieted down later at night. It is a convenient location to downtown La Fortuna, but not walkable, which was fine, especially with kids. We loved our visit!

Our family of 6 stayed here in late September. The house was very clean. Beautiful outdoor space! The pool was cold but really fun and beautiful! And of course the pool slide was very fun for everyone. The gate and plants around the property help it feel more private. The laundry facilities were great. It was nice that they had a small spin dryer for swim suits. We loved the central location to all the stuff we wanted to do in the area.
