They have maintenance problems in several places, Very old stove and grills, and it was very difficult to heat the grill. Impossible. Doors: in several rooms, the doors don't work well. They don't close or are too difficult to open or close. They are very stiff, and if there are children, it's dangerous. Water. We ran out of water for a whole evening/night. The tanks are closed. The main gate doesn't work well at all. It doesn't close and it doesn't open. The control was deprogrammed. We had to hire a service to be able to leave the house. They didn't answer the calls to fix it or to be able to leave the property.

While we had not received similar reports about most of the points mentioned, it is true that the main gate had an unexpected malfunction during your visit. Fortunately, the issue has already been resolved for future reservations. We also want to clarify that the technical service you hired to be able to leave the property was reimbursed in full, as agreed, so it did not represent an additional cost for you. As for the water outage, unfortunately it was a situation completely beyond our control, since we depend on the public service, just as is the case when there are interruptions in the electricity supply. Regarding communication, we reviewed the history and maintained contact with you at all times to provide assistance and find solutions. We understand that the combination of several issues can affect any guest's experience, and that's why we always take responsibility, face the problem, and work to resolve each situation as soon as possible. We loved our stay here. it was so beautiful and we had a view of greenery and the ocean. The ocean is in walking distance and we took quick rides (5 to 15 min) to different places and restaraunts in Jaco. We liked being out of the city but still close to everything. The airbnb is great has everything you need and the AC worked great too. The pool and outdoor space were beautiful. We were a group of couples and family and loved the layout of the rooms. Jaco Homes was very responsive and helpful with rides and outings. We also hired chefs for breakfasts it was amazing and delicious. We highly recommend!

Place and view was nice, front gate stopped working after a day and the host had to be contacted every time we wanted to exit. There were also security cameras everywhere.

It was a circumstantial situation, and the problem has already been completely repaired. To clarify, the property has only two exterior security cameras: one located at the main entrance and another facing the pool area. Both are clearly indicated on the Airbnb listing and identified on the property. These cameras are used exclusively for security purposes. This place is amazing. Very cute cafe we walked to every morning for breakfast. Surfing beach walking distance. Housekeeper came to clean every single day. Private 5th room with separate entrance.

The property is nice and spacious, but our experience was marked by too many problems for a 2-night stay. There were 13 of us guests, including 2 small children. We had 14 hours without enough water pressure to use toilets, showers, or cook. The grill, which was an important part of our plans, was unusable until Saturday night. The most concerning thing was that the main gate broke down at 6:15 pm on Saturday and remained damaged until our check-out on Sunday. We spent our last night with the property open and unable to secure access. During a storm and a power outage, we tried to contact the host for more than 5 hours via Airbnb, messages, and phone, receiving a late response with no solution. In addition, the mezzanine is difficult to access via a steep staircase, has poor ventilation, lots of light coming in, and does not have a bathroom. Overall, too many problems and too little support to justify the cost of the stay.

We are sincerely sorry that your stay coincided with several unexpected inconveniences, including a severe storm that caused a community-wide power outage and affected some of the property's services. Although these circumstances were beyond our control, we understand the inconvenience caused and are working to address the reported issues, restore the affected services, and follow up on the situation. As a gesture of goodwill, we also offered them a late check-out at no extra cost to provide more flexibility for their group. Villa Serendida has welcomed numerous families and groups who have enjoyed its spaces, panoramic views and amenities. Although we respectfully disagree with some aspects of your review, we appreciate your feedback and will continue to improve the experience for our guests.

The place is amazing. Everything is very good. The rooms are spacious and well laid out. The tidiness is excellent, and the location is ideal. The pool area is very comfortable and private. We had trouble opening and closing the large door to the game room, but they quickly sent a technician to help us.

The house was perfect. Excellent location. The beach is very close. Everything was very tidy. They changed the linens the next day. We left a watch in one of the rooms, and they helped us get it back. Recommended.
