We really enjoyed it. There’s lots of instructions when needing help. I think tide pools were our favorite part other than surfing.

If you’re looking at this listing, don’t even think twice — book it now. It’s in such a great spot in the area. It’s directly on the beach. The pool is wonderful. There are so many places to lounge and relax. The kitchen is fully equipped and worked well. Obviously, there are frequent power outages in Popoyo, but the houses’ generator worked perfectly. We had internet and AC our entire time there. And the beds were really comfortable. Everything about this home is amazing. Did not want to leave! Donna, Yader and Alma were all so easy to get in touch with and lovely people. They made us feel like family. We really enjoyed this being our home base for two weeks. When we come back to Popoyo, we will definitely be staying here again.

We were impressed as so as we drove into the yard as we could see the ocean through the front entrance. The hosts Alma and Yader were there to greet us and explain all the necessary details for a comfortable stay. The home is the best on the beach! The kitchen is big and beautiful and open to the family room and patio where we spent the morning coffee and catching up on the computer. The pool was a special place for us to cool off and play with the kids, Volley ball and other pool blow ups were there to use. The pool was always cleaned and maintained. There is a power generator incase of power outages which was put to the test and was perfect.The local restaurants were great for lunch and dinners, we liked the Nica Restaurant the best catch of the day and shrimp for me. Our older son is a surfer and one of the reasons we chose Popoyo area which is a very desirable beach. We went horse back riding one afternoon for a hour on the beach and they dropped us off in front of our house.

A perfect stay at Donna's! The villa is beautiful! Alma and Yader were very welcoming! Communication with Donna was exceptional! I highly recommend it!

We had a great weekend; the house was spotless. The property is fully equipped and everything looked like new. Donna's team is outstanding: Alma very kindly welcomed us and Yader looked after us the whole time.

Amazing place and amazing Host

We had an incredible stay in Playa Popoyo with my family. Donna was a super friendly and attentive host who was always available for everything. The place had everything. We felt very comfortable and also very safe. We would definitely come back. ✨

Our stay was excellent. Donna was a very caring host and was clear about all the instructions from the start. The house was beautiful, very well organized, and in an amazing location right on the beach. The area is quiet and safe, ideal for resting and enjoying. I would also like to highlight Yader's support; he was always available and attentive to any needs we had during our stay. Definitely a fully recommended experience.

Not sure how but this place is even better than the pictures. Everything that we asked and more. Donna and her staff were very helpful and responsive, providing recommendations and help whenever needed. I honestly couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone’s stay!

We loved this beautiful home on the Guasacate beach. It's walkable to some food options, and the kind of house you'd only leave for necessities like food. Donna was very helpful and responsive, and Alma helped us feel at home. The proactive communication about the scheduled power outage (due to the highway construction) was great, and the house's generator means we didn't experience any disruptions. There were welcoming touches and snacks - perfect after a long, hot day where we arrived at night. We called it an "indoor outdoor house" as the open atrium area and large sliding doors into the living room can stay open for the ultimate bringing the outside in experience, and crucially allowed for an incredible breeze. This was a great place for our large family and another couple, and I would love to stay here again.

The house was amazing. Right on the beach and able to listen to the waves at night was so peaceful. Our kids swam in the pool for hours everyday. The house is within walking distance to surf shops and restaurants. Popoyo is a charming surf town and we loved spending lazy days in the pool, ocean and finding a nice restaurant nearby. Highly recommend this place!

Incredible attention, best location in Playa Guasacate. The beach is amazing. The house is very clean, friendly and private. It was the first time we were welcomed with gifts as fresh fruits and a special picadillo. All is set for you to enjoy your stay from the first moment!! Definitely recommend!!! Thank you Donna!
