Beautiful place! Spacious rooms, very well equipped kitchen, nice pool and a short walk to the beach... Definitely worth it and perfect for our family vacation. Can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Mariposa Blanca. When the surf was too rough to play at the beach, we swam in the beautiful pool. All the beach accessories we could need at the house. The kitchen had all the utensils and tools we needed and more! The beds were comfortable and the location is so beautiful and peaceful. The covered patio allowed us to use the outside space whether it was sunny or raining. The road in isn't in tge best repair but the directions we received before arriving helped us get there easily. We hope to visit again!

Beautiful modern home. Big rooms and very spacious and very clean. Wonderfully greeted by Maria who was so nice! Pool is incredible and the beach is awesome. House is very well equipped with beach apparel. Place is remotely located and is very quiet. Make sure you get your groceries on your way in and you are good to have a wonderful stay! Would return in a heartbeat!!!

We had the most wonderful and relaxing time at Penny's place it was more than I expected. Beautiful clean home, beautiful pool, great beach, and never needed anything that was not in this home. Great value for money and I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone who asks me. definitely world class accommodation.

What an amazing house and location. It exceeded my expectations BUT it is in the middle of nowhere. So you need to plan for that and be OK with that also. Either stock up on all the food you need in David before driving to Las Lajas or plan to use the chef menu that is available. I wish I had planned for them to cook for us more so I do advise to use the menu available for at least one or two (or all) meals. The management team was AMAZING and always so helpful and kind. We made a new friend there for sure. Thank you Maria and Mike!! The beach is out of a dream. The house is newer and modern. We had a few kinks with the house but nothing that would cause me to change my rating. Comfortable beds. Chef's kitchen with everything you could need. Beach toys for my daughter. Boogie boards to ride the waves. We will definitely return!! For many years to come! Thank you for allowing us the blessing of staying in your home. Much appreciated!!

It was our second stay at Casa Mariposa. Maria and her friends from the management team take great care of the house and the guests. The contact has always worked out well. A good handbook will be provided about the house, where there is all the necessary information. The house is very private and is located at the end of the village. You are almost always alone on the beach. The two cute cats that live outside have always accompanied us. We ordered food twice from offered menu. The food was excellent and the portions sufficient. Maria and the chef, brought us the finished food at the desired time. We were absolutely satisfied and were fed up. If you prefer to cook for yourself, find a well equipped kitchen. For the beach and for the pool, everything is available, towels, mats, water toys, swimming boards, etc. The pool is pleasantly warm. But the ocean is also nice and warm and at low tide the beach is very wide. Thank you so much, we'll be back

Beautiful house on a beautiful beach. This is a well-designed house with both wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. Great kitchen with everything you need to make just about anything you want. The pool was a nice feature and especially during high tide. I really appreciated the working space upstairs because I had an online class the entire week we were there. We loved all of the games and places to relax on the patio. It’s a very quiet area and if you are looking for a peaceful getaway, this is your place. But, just like anywhere in Panama, the chitras can be annoying, bring some bug spray.

Great place, attention to detail with kitchen and other amenities. All six of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property manager was really great and dual-hatted as our chef, suggested and created two very memorable dinners. Highest recommendations.

Casa Mariposa is amazing. A beautiful, spacious house with a lovely pool footsteps from the beach. The house leaves you wanting nothing. Seriously the most well equipped place we’ve ever rented. We love to cook and the kitchen is decked out with everything you could think of. Bring whatever you need as access in and out is not easy but once you are there you’ll never want to leave. Penny was very responsive before we got there and Omer and Thomas helped with any concerns we had. They are all very friendly. It’s a wonderful place to go a disconnect from the world (although you do have internet access so not so disconnected). We’ll be back!
