The house was everything my friends and I could have wanted. Very walkable to the rest of tamarindo with great restaurants near by. Their property manager was very responsive and helped us set up transportation to and from the airport. We enjoyed our time here!
This is a lovely house with a great front porch overlooking the pool. It’s located behind a secured gate and a private walkway. Walking to town or the beach took just a few minutes and we were surprised on a couple mornings by the monkeys coming right through the property. We met some other lovely guests who were staying in the other units across the way and we ended up barbecuing and hanging out. Everyone had a wonderful time. The hosts were very responsive and did a great job communicating.

Very nice place a bit on the older side but a nice complex. You have the security of being gated with other shared property however parking can be somewhat tight . Overall a very nice place
Excellent accommodation, very clean, large, very comfortable house and they helped us with the car issue (electric), he answers messages very quickly and is always available, I would definitely come back
Caroline, David and Yira were so accommodating with specific requests that we made and were excellent at responding. We stayed in the house and had an excellent experience and would definitely return. Loved everything about the place and can't say a bad word.
The location and house are great. So private yet so close to everything we were looking for. A/C was strong, pool was refreshing but the best part was our hosts, who went way beyond our expectations! I can’t say enough about these two. We had a tough break with the weather and Caroline and David did everything they could think of to make our experience enjoyable. Seriously saved our trip!
Very friendly hosts and always ready to help and seek solutions, Yira is an excellent person who is always ready to help and seek solutions. The house is beautiful but I consider it occupies repairs product of time, water leaks in a wall of a room (they gave me a solution but I didn't want my family to be separated in another apartment) a water filtration on the kitchen floor by the sink and the Swimming pool also already occupies maintenance on its plating. Yes I would come back again but I consider that my recommendations for the owners even though there was a lot of rain are reasonable regardless of what has rained always looking to improve before everything.
Loved the Castillo we stayed in. We rented the whole house and no one was in the other building so we had the compound to ourselves. Location is fantastic - less than 5 minute walk to the beach and far enough off the main road to be away from busyness of Tamarindo, yet close enough to walk to restaurants, stores and bars (if so inclined). Yira, the property manager, was responsive and accommodating to our needs - she had extra blankets delivered (even though it’s the beach, my wife sleeps cold) and had the gas tank on the BBQ refilled for me. Overall we loved the experience and look forward to returning. My wife is already planning a trip with her 4 sisters and is looking forward to booking the house again. Thank you for a great experience.
Perfect stay for our family of 4. Short walk to the beach and restaurants but felt very private and safe. Saw monkeys from the pool!
The place was very close to town and the beach- just a 5 minute walk. The pool was very clean as well as the home. There was loud construction going on in the area during our whole stay, but we still enjoyed the beautiful space!
The place is beautiful, it exceeded my expectations, the communication with Caroline and with Yira her co-host was excellent, always attentive to my questions and needs. I would definitely go back to this stay. 10/10
