Wonderful stay for 3 families. Pool is shallow for kids and in the shade. Lots of room for each family to have space but still be altogether. Would definitely recommend

The place was exactly as described. One of three villas in a very private area with a private pool for only the three families. The area was kept spotlessly. Tara communicated beautifully, quick to answer questions and offered suggestions without being asked. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. It was a lovely day and I would happily stay there again.

Tara's place is beautiful; my family really enjoyed it. It's a quiet place, very peaceful and ideal for resting, but at the same time very close to downtown Tamarindo.

Amazing modern villa and absolutely incredible pool. Everything close: beaches, restaurants, stores but pretty quiet. Green surrounded. Unbeatable price for that quality. Thank you for everything!!!

Great location and surroundings. A few things were different then the photos ie pool colour and shrubbery as well as some furniture inside the home but all good. This is great for a short stay in the Tamarindo area and we met a lot of lovely people. Gabriel was good and available and Tara was responsive to any questions / requests. Definitely a nice place to stay.

overall i would recommend. Tara was a great host. she was responsive on several occasions. it was a surprise there was a grocery store right there which was a good perk. I didnt realize there was a shared pool and the pics didnt totally match reality but still very good. there were a couple of cosmetic issues that worried me, broken window glass and broken stovetop although they didnt impact our experieince. Tara was quick to acknowledge these were already broken. ine shoukd know if I hadn't has a small SUV I might have had a problem getting to the end of the street. thanks Tara.

Looks like the pix and the vibes were nice. The location was good and it was a safe place with parking onsite. BUT tiny ants were all over the place, kitchen/bathrooms/bedrooms. The pool was not in working order when we arrived so we were not able to make use of it. The road leading to the house is crazy and very difficult to get in and out. Not good for small or low cars.

We take all reviews seriously—especially 3-star reviews—because the vast majority of our guests leave 5-star feedback, which reflects the care and effort we consistently put into our property and guest experience. A few clarifications for future guests reading this review: Ants: Costa Rica is a tropical environment, and as noted in our house information, occasional insects can appear if food is left out. During this short two-night stay, no issue was ever reported to us, which is important because we have a full-time on-site maintenance person who responds immediately when guests notify us of any concern. After checkout, food was found left out, which can attract ants quickly in this climate. Notably, you will not find this issue mentioned in our other reviews. Pool: The pool was professionally maintained and in excellent condition prior to arrival. During a routine check, we noticed a minor pH fluctuation due to intense heat and sun exposure—common with saltwater pools in the tropics. Guests were proactively informed the same day, advised that the water was safe for use, and a technician was already on site correcting it. At no point was the pool “not working.” Road access: As clearly stated in our House Rules before booking, parts of Costa Rica—including this area—have occasional unpaved or uneven roads that are outside a homeowner’s control. This is standard throughout the country and something we disclose transparently so guests can make informed decisions. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can immediately address anything that arises. Unfortunately, that opportunity was not given here. We remain committed to honesty, transparency, and providing an excellent experience for our guests.

In this really touristy place , we happy to found this house in Tamarindo. You all things for your vacation from all things in the kitchen to bath and beach towels and even bags for going to beach and put all your belongings into. You also have machine to do your bbq. So my experience was 10/10. My family ( 4 of us) had more then we need and it was just a pleasure. All pictures are true but just one little thing is that for whole area it is 4 houses , on the picture it look lots of area around house but not really but you still got small Terrace to sit but its not super privet( you can see and hear everyone around you . But even though , our neighbours were amazing and nice people so none were bothering us.

Tara’s place fit our family of 5 perfectly. The accommodations were just as described. We had a well equipped kitchen which we used for breakfast most days but because it is a nice walk to some really great restaurants we had dinners out. Tara gave us some great recommendations to try. The Tamarindo beach and Langcosta beach were very different but we enjoyed them both. Very easy to get your steps in!! Gabriel was terrific at keeping the grounds and accommodations in great order. A big thank you to him. Thank you Tara. We would definitely recommend your beautiful home to people visiting Tamarindo.

This was a great spot to stay very clean and the layout was very nice for two couples sharing the air bnb. Outdoor shared pool was lovely all the other guests were super friendly, was nice to relax in after a hot sunny day! Lots to do around Playa Langosta, the beach is a short walk and was the most beautiful sunset we saw our whole week in Costa Rica. Would definitely go back!

We stayed here for 4 days between Christmas and New Years. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We've stayed at many AirBnB's around the world and this might just be our favourite. The villa was very clean and well equipped. The king size beds were amazing and the pool was outstanding. Walking distance to everything I xliding restaurants and the beach made it the perfect location. Thanks Tara for an amazing stay. 😎

I have been coming to Tamarindo for many years on holiday, this year I decided to check out the sophisticated Playa Langosta area and it did not disappoint. Within walking distance to the restaurants and bars in Tama without the noise and chaos. Having rented many houses over the years I never received the level of service I did at this property. Tara (owner) and Gabriel (butler) took care of everything and made the vacation a dream. I will definitely be returning here next season.
