Responsive host, very pleasant and spacious house in the heart of nature

This home was a perfect place for our family of 6 to stay while visiting Monteverde. Not only is the house close to the cloud forest and Curi Cancha reserve, but it also has a beautiful gated yard with big picture windows for watching birds and other wildlife. The host was amazingly responsive and dropped by with some bandaids when we were asking if the house had any. He was concerned and wanted to make sure everyone was okay. We loved the location, being relatively close to many activities but feeling secluded in our own private garden. We would recommend the house to others visiting the area.

Very beautiful house, very private. Plenty of space and well equipped kitchen. Located a little away from the tourist areas, which we really appreciated. A few steps from the Monteverde Reserve. Thank you, Angel, for hosting us and for your advice!

An excellent place to spend a few days with your family.

This is our third time staying at Casa Morchella and it’s always amazing. There have been a few great upgrades like much better wifi, so I was able to work from there no problem, and a TV which was great so we could watch the World Cup lol. We love the washer and dryer as well. Angel is always extremely responsive and friendly, we will continue staying here on our group trips to Monteverde!

Great place. We appreciated the washer and drying rack so we can freshen our wardrobe. Comfortable for 5 people. Comfortable beds. Great location, 10 minutes walking distance to Cloud Forest and Children's Forest. Thank you!

The home is even better in person! My family was very comfortable at Angel's home. It easily accommodated our family of 5. It was nice being tucked away in nature surrounded by the Cloud Rainforest. At night, it was so peaceful to hear all the animals. It was only a short drive to get into town and we found plenty to do in the area. Angel was extremely helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful place to stay! Surrounded by cloud forest, could hear lots of birds and were visited by a few hummingbirds, it was so quiet and peaceful. I would absolutely stay again!

We really loved this spacious and well maintained house, and the completeness of the amenities. The beds were really good as well as the kitchen. The house is also well located in a quiet private place, which we really liked. Also a big thank you to Angel who proved to be a great and always helpful host, providing us valuable advice on tours and restaurants. So far, the best AirBnB house we went to in Costa Rica!!

This accommodation is very comfortable, space, a very well-equipped kitchen, the bedding is perfect in all rooms, impeccable cleanliness. No need for air conditioning in Monteverde. Bathrooms with hot water. Beautiful garden Very quiet to sleep in. Easy to find with Google Maps or Waze. A house that we enjoyed and the host is very responsive and welcoming. Really great. Great value
