Alice

We had a great stay at Alice’s house. Location was perfect with a beautiful views and sound of the ocean. Watching monkeys and birds while sipping coffee was a perfect way to start the day. House was very spacious and comfortable for our group of 5. All bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean and kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed meeting Alice who gave us some tips about the neighborhood. Wish we could stay longer !

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Alice's place! The location above the town was so peaceful. I miss the sound of the surf and the birds etc. We had great space for a family. The kitchen had everything you need for preparing meals (we did breakfast and one dinner). We walked to and from the town and the beach a few times - it was about 10 minutes down and a bit more coming up the hill). The one surprise was the steepness of the hill but we got used to it. It is beautifully paved with bricks so the drive was in great condition, just steep! Loved it and if we go back to Santa Teresa, I would choose to stay there again! We also loved the focus on sustainability and zero waste! Also, Alice was very responsive and helpful - we really enjoyed meeting her at check-in.

A nice house with plenty of space, great views, good amenities and communication with the host worked perfectly. The access road is very steep, a 4wd vehicle is an advantage.

Great view of the ocean

What a beautiful view of the ocean! The house was clean with a well equipped kitchen. Alice was helpful and answered all our questions. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings! The pool in the community was great to cool off, and many restaurants close by. We had a great week as a family and hope to come back here again!

Great Villa and magnificent view. Location also good for beach access and restaurants. Very nice stay.

Had a great time staying at Alice’s home Was a little tricky to find in the dark but Alice is a great communicator! Incredible views, comfy beds, and can easily fit 6-7 people. Kitchen was well stocked and Alice gave us plenty of recommendations for restaurants and things to do Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay! Great location, beautiful setting, spacious home, security, close to everything! This is our second stay at the Mar-A-Mar community and it never disappoints. We loved staying up the hill at Casa Alice as there is a great view of the ocean and canopy. Alice was a tremendous host—friendly, responsive, flexible, and so easy to communicate with. The beach is right across from the community gate and a great breakfast spot is close too. Wonderful home all around!

Amazing house, views, facilities and town. Very memorable place. The upstairs area was perfect for spending ours evenings cooking food and having a couple of drinks. The bedrooms were spacious and had excellent facilities. Really pleased we booked this property.

Great stay in Santa Teresa - would stay again.

A little further from the beach than we expected (high up the hill so difficult to walk up and down), but well worth it considering the other options in Santa Teresa. Beautiful gated community in the mountains with breathtaking views. And Santa Teresa is a magical surf town with delicious food, great shops, and beautiful people.
