The hosts were very helpful and responsive. House was clean upon arrival. Respond fast. I went for my bday and they offered to make me a cake. Super sweet people. Always kept us updated on things happening daily. Back yard is beautiful with a back trail straight to town. The kitchen is perfect or cooking anything or reheating food. Spacious for family’s who cook. My friends and I ate out a lot though. 10000/10 for the house and service. We will definitely be back.

This is a great home for a large family or group. We had 8 adult family members and had plenty of room. Tim and Analou are wonderful hosts along with Karol who is local and knowledgeable. Well equipped and well maintained - you won’t be disappointed about anything. The town and beach are easily walkable but the back yard path and road could be a challenge for some. With the heat of Costa Rica the backyard pool is a fantastic bonus. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip. Our family loved it.

Great stay! Very welcoming couple and a beautiful and clean house. Very responsive and helpful. About a 10-15 minute walk to the beach/town. Highly recommend

Brilliant Retreat was a great place to stay at for our family vacation with lots of amenities; Lots of room for 7 people. The place was very clean. We enjoyed spending our afternoons at the pool. Analou and Tim were great hosts, always accessible and responded immediately to our texts. I would stay here again.

Really pretty and very well-stocked place! Loved the pool area. Good communication and response time from the hosts. There is a bit of an uphill climb via a gravel road to get to this place - only an issue for us when we wanted to hear heels. 😅 No real complaints from our group of 8!

What an amazing place to stay in Tamarindo! We were six adults, but could have accommodated eight as is a four bedroom, four bathroom place. Tim and Analou are very lovely people and great hosts. Their place is spacious and has everything you could need for a great stay; well appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, beautiful pool with lots of outdoor furniture for lounging, clothes line for drying towels, charcoal bbq, great wifi, Bluetooth speaker, literally nothing was missing. The kitchen tap water is filtered, the fridge has filtered water and ice cube maker, and they also have a water dispenser for hot and cold. Air conditioning works really well and each bedroom has a safe for valuables, laptops, passports, etc. The back gate leads to a shortcut path to downtown and we 60+ year olds huffed and puffed a little on the way back but saw it as a way to earn our great meals cooked in or at the many great area restaurants. Loved our stay and will gladly return! Thanks Tim and Analou!

Had a wonderful stay in Tamarindo. The house was very spacious and clean. The outdoor space was a treat and had all the amenities that you might need. The back path made it easy to get to the city centre 10 min walking.

The Brilliant Retreat Tamarindo was the perfect vacation spot! We spent 3 days in LaFortuna, and were looking forward to a great beach stay, and the house exceeded our expectations. The house is spacious and well-appointed, and the kitchen is one of the best stocked we've ever experienced in an AirBnB, with every cooking item and appliance you would ever need (although the restaurants in town are so great, you won't want to cook). The pool area is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful flowers and plantings. Cedric, the local host greeted us upon our arrival and departure, and was always responsive and available. The area is quiet and safe, but the roads around the house are pretty rough, for both walking and driving - but that's Costa Rica! All in all, a wonderful stay!

Our stay at Tim’s place was fantastic! The home was impeccably clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed spending time relaxing by the pool, which made the stay even better. Cedric was very accommodating and shared great local tips. We can’t wait to come back!

This house was perfect for our family of 5 and my MIL. One bedroom on the main floor for my MIL and all other rooms upstairs. Everyone had their own bathrooms. The pool and BBQ were great. Lots of pool and beach supplies. Walkable. Beautiful views. Loved our stay!

Tim and Analou are wonderful hosts who went above and beyond our expectations in many ways. The place is exceptionally clean, well-located, and provides a comfortable stay. We highly recommend renting this place!

We just stayed at Tim and Analou's place in Tamarindo. First, I can't say enough about Tim and Analou. They were great, super friendly, responsive, patient and really take pride in their place. They answered all of our questions rapidly, even the inane ones. The place itself is perfect. 4 large bedrooms, well stocked kitchen with everything you could need. Pool area was large and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at Brilliant Retreat. Highly recommended.
