This was a perfect first place to arrive in Nicaragua! The house manager, Julio, picked us up at the airport and literally treated us like family- great tours, incredibly responsive, house was comfortable and exactly as described. Julio also had incredible recommendations for food- both local places and nice restaurants. He never led us astray! Pool was very refreshing to lounge in with the heat- but the AC’s work incredibly well in the bedrooms at night, so it was very comfortable to sleep in!

Julio was a great host, very responsive, and met us at the airport and provided transportation to the house. The house felt very much like an oasis in the city. Our kids LOVED being able to swim after walking around the city every afternoon. Very clean and welcoming. Again, Julio was a great contact to have and had a lot of suggestions for things to do in and around the city.

The place was beautiful and Julio was an incredible host. He helped us with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Granada. I hope to come back again! Thank you for everything.

House as described, small pool was a great plus. Location ideal for easy walk into centre past many food cafes and restaurants. Suggested restaurants in house book was a real help.

My husband and son really enjoyed the place. Really spacious and met our needs. The only thing is the mosquitos at night ate me and my son alive. We put mosquito repellent and lit the mosquito repellent that is offered but didn’t help. Also the bed downstairs was not comfortable at all. All 3 of us slept upstairs since it was more comfortable accommodations. It is a beautiful place, it just needs a little more TLC.

Beautiful colonial house in the heart of Granada's historic center. They did a very nice renovation of the original house, with a small open area with a swimming pool that provides freshness and clarity inside the house. The location is very good, close to everything and there is a parking lot nearby to leave the car at night. Communication was very good and they treated us very well, they were very kind.

The house is very comfortable, nice and very well located. Julio, the host, is one of the best I have seen. The tranquility and privacy of the house is unbeatable. The pool is small but very clean and enough for 4 people to enjoy. It is only 3 blocks from the park, which is very good. We really spent some incredible days at Casa Romántica. Congratulations, we will definitely be back very soon.

We loved our stay at Casa Romantica in Granada! The place was so relaxing to come back to after exploring the town. Julio was helpful with anything we needed and even took us to and from the airport.

We stayed in this beautiful colonial home in Granada, and had a great experience. The house is spacious, very clean, and well maintained. It has a charming colonial style with traditional details that give it a lot of character, while still offering the comforts needed for a pleasant stay. The rooms are comfortable, well ventilated, and stay cool, which is perfect for Granada’s climate. Everything was clean, organized, and in excellent condition when we arrived. The location is excellent. There is also a nearby place where you can park your car for a fee and it is watched. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again. ♡

We stayed at this house yesterday and the experience was excellent. The property is as shown in the photos: clean, well kept and with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were perfectly clean and the cozy decor made us feel at home. The location is very convenient, with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants and tourist spots. In addition, the area is quiet and safe. The host was very friendly and helpful at all times, responded quickly to our questions and gave us local recommendations that were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this house to other travelers and would not hesitate to stay there again in the future. Thank you for everything!

Its a very nice house to hangout in. I preferred staying there rather than going into the city lol.

What a quaint, comfortable and wonderful place. Everything was top notch from the beginning. Julio, the caretaker, was remarkable and even helped me plan a last minute surprise evening carriage ride with flowers. The carriage picked us up outside the restaurant and brought us back to our casa. Highly recommend!

Super charming house in a quiet, safe part of town, only a two-minute (or less) walk to the center of town. We LOVED the colonial feel of the house and the plunge pool for that hot afternoon heat...chef's kiss. Ashley provided us with everything we could possibly need: AC, hot water, soap/shampoo (bc I definitely forgot to pack it), speedy Wifi, a fully functional kitchen, comfy bed...the list goes on and on. Julio was also amazing and very accommodating to our schedule. We loved this little gem in Granada so much we actually wanted to book another weekend...but it was already booked (boo!). We had an amazing stay at Casa Romantica! Great location, lots of room, felt very safe, well-equipped, and the plunge pool was fantastic and needed after our walks around town! More than just a great place to stay, the local host, Julio, made our stay easy, relaxing, and so much fun! He is the best! He arranged our airport pick-up, excursions, answered questions, and was very responsive on texts. Immediately responded to any questions we had. We can’t say enough how much help he was and made our vacation so much better! Mucho gracias Ashley and Julio! Granada was amazing!

We loved the house, really neat local decor. Pool was amazing. Walkable safe town with great food/ shopping/ exploring. Julio was the best! He made sure we had transportation lined up for the entirety of our trip.

Absolutely wonderful! This was the perfect place for me, my father - age 85, and my daughter - age 10. My daughter and I coslept in the bed upstairs and it was the comfiest bed I've ever been in. My dad slept downstairs and was very comfortable with kitchen and bathroom convenient to him downstairs. HOT WATER! We initially stayed at a hotel, but quickly realized we wanted hot water and extra space - this place had that and more. Excellent location in that it's convenient to the main square/park and there's a convenience store around the corner. We never used the pool, nor the a/c, nor the TV, but it was nice knowing those amenities were there. We were able to enjoy the city each day and come back and make dinner as a family; felt like home away from home. Would definitely stay again! Julio - super - helped w/our bags, and even gave us a ride to our next hotel (we tried to extend our stay but it was booked). He found us a good deal on private transport to Esteli, too. GREAT STAY!

Wonderful month stay! Description/photos are 90% accurate. Used kitchen for breakfast & occasional dinner so no issues with ants/bugs. Brought RAID ant traps with us. Front room AC broke down & was quickly replaced with brand new external/internal machine. If u r a light sleeper, street noise may affect u. Upstairs Master Bedroom & adjoining bathroom/shower were a perfect haven! Excellent WiFi. Temporary power loss every few days but only lasted a few minutes. Only negative comment is water pressure but the plumbing is old so understandable. If staying long term, u may find limited drawers/storage in Mstr bedroom. Perfect location - safe, easy to explore by foot, great restaurants (El Zaguan, Boca Baco, ECO, Garden Cafe), churches, the Malecon, bars, clubs (Level 1). Main grocery store La Colonia is only a few minutes by car-well stocked but a bit pricey. ATM's dispense USD$ & Cordoba's. AirBnB Manager JULIO was incredible! Always ready to help, plan, assist, drive us where needed...

The place is a gem. The indoor/outdoor aspect of the living area is a special experience. Julio was in constant contact through a chat app. I am comfortable traveling places where I do not speak the language. If you are not, this is the place to stay. You always have a helping hand.

The place was amazing and accurately described, but Julio was even more amazing. We ended up being abnormal needy tenants as we had to have Julio come over after dark to help us with an appliance, an hour after left we then locked ourselves out with all keys inside the villa. He immediately began tracking down another key and had it delivered to us, and it was well into the night. He never made us feel bad and was polite and understanding, which was very reassuring as this was our first night ever in Nicaragua. It was really a great first impression for us of the wonderful and helpful Nicaraguan culture. We can’t thank them enough for making our stay in Grenada a wonderful experience.

The house was nice, conveniently located near restaurants and stores. However the star for our trip was Julio. He went above and beyond to show us places and activities to do while there. Communication with him was easy and seamless. To airport pickup and drop off, overall guide to the surrounding areas he was wonderful and attentive. He made the stay for us!

Beautiful place in the centre of Granada. The house was really well laid out and we loved the open pool and living area. It provided a perfect escape from the busy town. We felt like we were in our own little oasis. But this is not just a house - its also about the host Julio -El Patron! What a great guy who made our first few days in Nicaragua with the family such a pleasant experience. He took us on a private tour for a day where he did ziplining with us, cruised around the islets and his wife made us a wonderful breakfast in his home. I would recommend staying at casa romantica.

it was a really great place. We found everything was clean. the housekepper was extraordinary, he responded quickly and helped us in our activities. Otherwise, a small update in the photos is required, as the appearance is not accurate. Plus, the bottom bed is very old and not very comfortable. There's no game

I had a great time at Ashley’s place. The house was beautiful and matched the photos. It was nice to be able to jump in the pool in the middle of the day. My daughter had a blast. We had a great stay at Casa Romantica! The house is very comfy and has everything needed. The pool is perfect to cool down during the hot afternoons. Hot water is a very pleasant perk after spending several months without it :) Ashley and Julio were both very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely amazing place! The house itself is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. Everything was clean and organized when we got there. The best part about the whole thing, outside of the pool is definitely Julio (the property manager). He took care of everything we needed with ease. Truly a great time, will be back soon!

Our family with 2 young kids had a wonderful time at Casa Romantica! It looks just like the pictures! There was great communication before and during the stay. The host was so friendly! We felt very safe walking to the square and to the grocery store. It was very easy to get a taxi for longer trips. We have zero complaints. I only wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!

Ashley and Julio were just amazing. Any questions or concerns were answered immediately. The pool was great to relax in. The house is located 3 blocks from La Calzada. There you will find many restaurants and entertainment. It was super easy to walk to, yet far enough away from the noise. I will certainly be back.

Above and beyond. For starters, the Airbnb is even more beautiful than the photos. Very clean, spacious, and updated. It is in an excellent location- I felt safe at all times. Before arriving in Nicaragua, Julio assisted us with booking private drivers for the weekend, a boat tour through the inlets, and providing excellent recommendations. During the weekend, my Mom experienced a medical emergency. Julio came straight over to help us, arranging a taxi to a local hospital. He came with us to help with translation. When we realized we’d need more extensive care, Julio arranged us a private driver to take us to the best hospital in Managua. When my Mom was discharged, the driver was already enroute to the hospital to take us back to Granada. To be honest, we could not have gotten through our weekend in Granada without Julio. If traveling to Granada, choose to stay at Ashley’s, Casa Romantica. You won’t be sorry.

Great living space with indoor/outdoor living! The location is close to the main square and lots of fun restaurants close by. Felt very safe although we were always back before 10pm. Star of the show was Julio and staff. He was responsive and endeavored to help with any request made.

This AirBnB was incredible! It offered a completely unique experience. Virtually the entire home is open air. With the exception of the bedrooms. This made for such a fun experience! The private pool, with the opening above, made for a nice experience when the evening came along for stargazing while swimming. Julio offered local recommendations, and even assisted with getting our clothes washed for us. He was incredibly nice, accommodating, helpful, and made our stay that much better.

We enjoyed our stay at Ashley's place. The place felt safe and had everything we needed for our stay. It was comfortable and Julio made sure we had everything we needed. They were flexible with our check-in and check-out. This place is very well located as it is only 4 blocks away to the main street with all the restaurants.

This was our 3rd trip to Granada. We enjoyed the house and I enjoyed the plunge pool. The house was as one would expect a property in Granada to be. The center living room area was very relaxing. A/C in both bedrooms is a big plus! There were many new items such as pots and pans and new pillows. The house is convenien and you can easily find food and drink within short walking distance. Julio was easy to communicate, nice and very punctual.

Charming and spacious accommodation in a great Grenada neighbourhood - close to the action but far enough away that you'll have a peaceful night. Kudoos go to Julio for going above and beyond picking us at the airport late on New Year's Eve and missing out on his family's celebrations - also very reliable for early morning transport back to Managua!

This spot was fantastic! Such a great little getaway in Granada and the plunge pool and downstairs living/kitchen area was a great place to hang out after a day of exploring. Great AC in the bedroom and overall amazing place to stay very walkable to nearby restaurants and attractions. Julio was a fantastic co-host and hooked us up with great recommendations and helped coordinate a transfer for us which was very helpful. Can’t wait to come back to this amazing place.
