Beautiful stay in a gorgeous garden with access to the mountain river and a small beach with golden flecked sand that our kids loved. Wonderful hosts and the space is magical with lots of common areas to hang out. Our family loved our stay and hope to be back soon!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Eric’s place. The house is super comfortable and the property is nothing short of amazing - with the most beautiful river access. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time, with plenty of space and opportunities for exercise. Especially the access to the river is designed with so much love. The three dogs were the icing on the cake. Thank you for the great time at your place!!

We love this place so much! The absolute best river swimming spot in all of Los Angeles..Eric and Helen are wonderful hosts and are helpful and on the property but completely honor your space and privacy. The house is colorful and creative and the internet is great! We stay here a lot and feel at home here…highly recommend!

Eric was so friendly! He met us at the house to show us around the property including the amazing swimming hole at the river below the house. The house is beautifully decorated and the path down to the river is magical! Eric was a terrific host and communication was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is in a quite street but still not far from the centre of La Fortuna. It has two bedrooms, bathroom and a living room with the kitchen. The terrace looks out onto the pool, which is large enough to have a proper swim. An outside covered table with barbecue is very comfortable when it rains, which it did every day while we were there. All kitchen tools were there, there is also a washing machine. It is all very clean. Every remote control is in a plastic cover which is good as it can be pretty humid. We can recommend the house!

Do yourself a favor, search no more and book this stay! Beautiful house on an extremely well maintained property with incredible hosts and magical path to the best part of the river! This was our home for Easter and is just a perfectly done and beautiful house!

What an incredible place. Eric and his family were wonderful hosts. Both the house and the property were gorgeous and well maintained. A lovely stone pathway through the gardens and down to a roaring river. Highly recommended.

Eric is a fantastic host. The most beautiful location you can imagine. The river is unbelievable. The house is one of a kind with original furniture and style. I can’t say enough about how incredible this space is.!!

Eric and Helen were wonderful hosts and just really beautiful people. The house was perfect for our family of four. The decks outside were wonderful for a cup of coffee and bird watching and just relaxing listening to the river below. Some great restaurants in the area and Cloudbridge Reserve offered some great hiking and views. Highly recommend staying with Eric and Helen if you are in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

Eric's private home and garden is truly a piece of heaven on earth. The property is gorgeous all around and very peaceful, tranquil, beautiful, and abundant with nature. Imagine waking up with birds chirping and dancing in the trees, hearing the river flowing nearby and feeling the warm sunshine and cool breeze on your face. Not to mention the vegetable garden in the backyard to make your breakfast omelet with. It's truly an unparalleled experience staying with Eric in one of the best areas in Costa Rica. Highly recommend and we would come back again!

What a wonderful experience to spend our last days in Costa Rica at Eric’s home. It was clean, extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated with colourful paintings of flowers made by his wife. You will find on the grounds of the property a vegetable garden and fruits trees where guests are welcome to pick fresh lemons, tomatoes, blackberries and much more. Nice touch! There is also a pool and down the stairs made out of stones you ll access the river where you ll be able to jump off the rocks! We appreciated that Eric check us in in person to show us the house and the property. He also gave us some recommendations for our kids to enjoy their stay. Thank you, we will be back!
