Sirlene

The Garabito home is fantastic!! We traveled as an entourage of 15 people (9 adults and 6 kids). We had a fabulous time. The 7 bedrooms worked out wonderfully with 2 bedrooms in the upstairs portion of the house and 5 bedrooms on the lower level. The kitchen is wonderfully outfitted with all of the kitchen resources any high-end kitchen would have. We knew that we had a winner of a house when Sirlene sent us the URL on the Hallmark Movie "A Costa Rica Wedding" which was filmed at the house! Sirlene was a wonderful host, with rapid response to our questions for referrals whether it was transportation from the airport, to restaurants, to questions about the house. Some additional notes: As referenced in other reviews: 1) The property is inside the Punta Leona development and is about a 15-minute car ride from the main road "Highway 34". 2) It is super important to decide your group's mode of transportation, golf carts or cars are a must. Love this place! Sirlene was great!

The View. Just stunning! Our group of 16 stayed at this location for a week at the end of our stay in Costa Rica and it was amazing. We loved the pool and the sunsets were worth the 95 stair hike to the top floor. There is plenty of space for group dinners and hanging out. Jaco is a bit of a drive, but we felt that it was worth it for the experience of staying in this beautiful house.

Great place to stay

Where to begging, i booked this place because the views. This place as a pleasant surprise each day...while the mornings where amazing the afternoons were beath taking. We lost track of hiw many time we said WOW as the rainbows got brighter and brighter to welcome the amazing sunsets. Macaws welcomed us in the morning and in the afternoon. Mantas beach had white face monkeys and sloths. I Cannot recomend this place enough. Please keep in mind that the house is two hills and a half from the house, while the beach is a 5 minute walk the hills make it longer...we opted to walk and not rent the $45/day golf cart as we enjoyed the walks but if you are not a walker i will recomend you tent the cart. Also, the elevator was not in service so be ready to go up to the main floor 93 steps, we didnt mind as we loved the place. Buy plenty of groceries in yiur way from the airport as food stores are not close by. The host was incredible and accommodating. We loved everything about our stay!

The whole experience was fantastic. The property is remarkable. The pictures really don't do it justice. We especially loved watching the sunset from the pool, and even saw about 50 species of birds in the trees in the back. Sirlene was extremely responsive and extraordinarily helpful before booking, before arrival, while at the property, and after the trip. Her restaurant and tour guide recommendations were great. I couldn't more highly recommend Sirlene or this home!

Just got back from 10 days here. Sirlene is a great host and very responsive to any questions or issues we had. We were a group of 11 adults and had lots of room. The house is spectacular and very spacious. The views are amazing! The kitchen and dining on the top floor were great for preparing meals and eating together - its well equipped (there are 2 smaller kitchens on the second floor). The elevator was great for bringing luggage and groceries up to the 2nd and 3rd floors. This place will keep you in shape - its about 90 steps from the road to the main floor! Recommend golf carts to get around - the road up the house is very steep and hard to walk. Although the stores in Punta Leona are well-equipped, I recommend shopping outside the resort (Auto Mercado will even deliver to the house). All in all a great home and wonderful host to make your stay enjoyable!

Highlight the host Sirlene as a friendly friendly person, always answering the concerns, attentive to us. As for the accommodation, it is a spacious house with amenities and beautiful views, any word is short to describe how wonderful the place is, very cozy and comfortable. It totally met our expectations, very private to share in large groups. It's definitely a place we'd go back to.

Truly stunning views. Loved the whole house AC which worked very well. My kids enjoyed having their own separate location and entry, although we did wish they connected. I could spend forever admiring the views.

We had a wonderful family reunion at Casa Blanca. Located about a 7 minute drive off the main road and in a gated residential area, the casa is at the top of the hill with breathtaking views, scarlet macaws and songbirds in the trees. Although neighboring homes were close, it felt VERY private. We all much preferred this setting rather than being on the beach in Jaco, for instance. Sirlene was responsive to all needs and any minor issue that arose was quickly addressed and remedied. We would recommend Casa Blanca without reservation.

As others have stated pictures do not do Casa Blanca justice. An absolutely spectacular vista can be seen on three sides. Perched high on the hill the sunsets over the ocean take your breath away. We were a family of 18 and there was plenty of room for all. House was well equipped and served our needs. My only caution would be that there are 93 steps from driveway to top floor so those with mobility issues take note. But there is a small elevator so the host has taken that into consideration. We did have daily neighbourhood wide power outages but they were minor and not the owners fault. Sirlene responded to all inquiries promptly and helped arrange transport. Casa Blanca is behind three sets of gates and 30 min from Jaco. Use Uber ($20) instead of cabs ($40) much cheaper. Playa Blanca is only a steep 15 min walk away. Gorgeous beach but you cannot park a car there. All in all one of the best family stays we’ve had. Thanks Sirlene. PS the upper pool was a big hit!

Incredible home with amazing views. Nice layout with good common area. Sirlene and her husband were very helpful in coordinating private chef and other activitiies. House is a bit far from central Jaco so would plan for ~30 minute drive one way.
