We had a wonderful time during our stay. The property and views are stunning!!! We didn’t luck out with any monkey visits, but there were a few cute coatis wandering around and lots of bird sightings, lizards, and iguanas. The home is as pictured and the ACs in the bedrooms work great. The jacuzzi wasn’t working, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the rest of the pool. I personally liked that they had a yoga mat (and a few other basics), because so many places don’t. It was perfect for sunrise workouts on the deck. The local restaurants were fantastic and the beach is so chill. And our host, Yolanda, was fantastic at communication and suggestions for places to visit. We definitely recommend this house for a great Costa Rican experience.

What a fabulous home, in a lovely spot with gorgeous views and sounds of the sea. The house is beautifully done with lots of attention to detail. We spent time here by the pool and at the local beach. Great food in the local area. Also used as a base to explore national parks and the sights of Costa Rica. Yolanda was a great host and proactively shared recommendations for places to eat and visit. All were good! Our stay exceeded our expectations and Yolanda was the perfect host.

We have just returned from a week’s stay and would likely recommend this beautiful Casa. We have never visited Costa Rica before but after a bit of research on areas that seemed right for our family we can across Casa Buena Vista. From the moment we booked I knew we had made the right decision as Yolanda provided us with so much local knowledge and recommendations that it made the planning of our trip so much more manageable. When we arrived the Villa was even more impressive than the photos. Surrounded by nature (Monkey, Coatis, deer and many species of birds) yet only 5/10 minutes from great beaches, restaurants and mini mart. The location is also a good base to explore slightly further afield like National park and Waterfalls. Yolanda was definitely a super host, always happy to help with recommendations which we would never of found ourselves. She made our first holiday to Costa Rica a memorable one and we would love to return to continue exploring this beautiful country.

Janusz’s house was extremely amazing. Its natural surroundings and pool were great as we could hardly leave the house. This is my 3rd trip to Costa Rica and it is the most beautiful house ever, we all loved it. I would like to come back here again. Thanks to the host so friendly and responsive and house was very clean as well. Overall great experience!

Beautiful house and excellent host!!

Excellent house, a complete beauty. Lots of spaces to share and each with lovely environments. We had a great vacation and the main thing is that my loved ones were delighted and had a lot of fun.

We would absolutely recommend this property and stay here again! The layout for the house was perfect for gathering both indoors and out with a large well stocked kitchen for preparing meals at home. The feature area is of course the large and beautiful outdoor space, we really enjoyed lounging by the pool and swimming every day! There is no AC in the central area of the house and it does get really hot even with fans/windows open, especially in the morning hours. However, the bedrooms had excellent AC so we were able to sleep very comfortably at night (though if you like a dark room I would recommend bringing a sleep mask as there are sheer curtains in the primary bedroom). The Esterillos area felt secluded and private but main roadway could take you to Quepos in less than an hour. We ended up spending a lot of time in Playa Hermosa, great boogie boarding and restaurants in that area and in Esterillos! Yolanda is THE BEST HOST - she will make sure you have a great time!

Staying at Casa Yola was an amazing experience! Yolanda was very attentive and helpful with recommendations for eating out and adventures. Would highly recommend staying at her place to anyone visiting the area. It’s a quiet retreat a short distance to the best beach village in Costa Rica!! We will return!!

Pictures cannot capture the beauty of this property. It is an incredibly gorgeous and peaceful place. Yolanda was a fantastic host! She shared so much information on restaurants and activities, she was a wealth of knowledge. Watching the waves crash in the distance sitting by the pool was magical. There are parrots that fly over head two by two every evening and was something we didn’t want to miss. The cutest monkey visited trees on the property and were fun to watch. We feel blessed we found Yolanda and her gorgeous place. We cannot wait to come back!

The easiest way to describe Yolanda's house is to say 'it was PERFECT'! It was awesome and much much better than anything we could imagine. Location, architecture, pool, interior design - everything was just amazing. John, Yolanda, this trip was incredible because of you. Thank you, guys!

Yolanda and John were wonderful, helpful, communicative and generous hosts! The house, pool, view, animal sightings and proximity to the beach were top notch. Definitely very high recommendation for this place. Thanks for having us.

Very nice and clean , located in the most beautiful views, you can see monkeys in the afternoon to take pictures.

Yolanda is a super host, the communication is on point and very informative, useful towards the surroundings of this place. Someone is always available to help on site if inquired. This is must see place, Highly recommend!
