Sylvia’s place was one of our favorite Air BNBs that we have ever stayed at! Our only regret was that we weren’t able to stay longer. The place is beautiful and clean. Jose, the caretaker, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We saw many sea turtles lay eggs from our view of the ocean at night. Sylvia has clear instructions for guests on how to observe these magnificent creatures safely and respectfully, which we really appreciated. The beds were comfy and the pool provided a great respite from the beach each afternoon. This area is very quiet and calm compared to Playa Norte, which is just what we were looking for. The kitchen is well stocked and the filtered water was very much appreciated. Plan to rent a golf cart to drive around the island and go to restaurants and the grocery store. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, Sylvia! We hope to be back to stay again one day!

Stay was excellent, daily cleaning service was great.

We stayed here for our anniversary for a couple of nights with two young children. The location is perfect, close to the main part of the island but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. The kids loved the pool overlooking the ocean and going down to the beach in search of the best shells to add to the collection on the stairs down. Sylvia was amazing with communication allowing us to check in early and providing fast responses every time. We will be back! Thank you again.

Sylvia's place was great. The house has stunning views of the Caribbean shore. The shore is rocky in that location so it is not easy to access the water, but there are incredible beaches a short drive north. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Access to the back patio is through the two bedrooms on the bottom floor, which was not an issue for us. The kitchen and third bedroom have access to the balcony looking over the sea. The kitchen/living room is one open area and is more spacious than it appears in the pictures. Be warned that the internet speed is slow and was, at times, intermittent, so if you often work while on vacation (as I do), you will likely encounter some difficulty. Also, there is a cleaner who come to the house most days and she relies on tips. We appreciated always having a clean house, but were unsure how much we were expected to tip. All in all, highly recommended!

5 family members stayed at Sylvia's house for 3 nights and it was absolutely fabulous - 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was perfect for our group and we loved the pool, beach access, outdoor decks, rooftop deck and the peaceful location. Caretakers Maribel and Jose Antonio were friendly, helpful, and accessible at all times. The fridge wasn't working but they gave us a heads up and set up a mini fridge plus a cooler with ice to accommodate our stay, which worked out beautifully! You are a 5 minute taxi ride from the ferry and downtown amenities in a really peaceful and private part of the island. We were so happy with our stay and the house - book it and you will not be disappointed!!

Such a great stay and such great hosts! The house is RIGHT on the water, so the views of the ocean from pretty much every room (and shower!) are very special. Sylvia (owner) and Maribel and Jose (on-site hosts) really took care of us and were responsive to our every need. The house has everything you need and nothing you don’t, and sits in a cool location between the north and south shores of the island. Fresh towels were provided daily with the cleaning service by Maribel, which really helps at a beach destination (when no washing machine) . The kitchen is fully stocked and has an amazing blender, and a water purifier. WiFi is good. AC in each room, worked well. The pool is nice, the views are outstanding off the East side and you can see the sunset to the west from the roof as well. Would recommend to groups or families that are adventurous travelers with kids older than 5 (due to the stair/railing setup). We rented a golf cart and that was ideal to explore the island. Enjoy!

Great place to stay! Ocean is the back yard! Loved it !

We had a wonderful stay. It was peaceful and relaxing. The pool was amazing and we played cards around the table on the deck every night. A great spot for family and friends.

Everything was perfect! Location couldn’t be beat, right on the beach and walking distance to Isla Brewing, a convenience store, and several restaurants. Jose and Maribel were extremely helpful. Place was clean, a/c worked well, and the pool was amazing. Will stay again!

Wonderful place and friendly and responsive host. House was better than photos and pool was great in case of cooler weather. Would definitely stay again.
