Everything was great, excellent. The only thing to mention is the raccoons, which came in a couple of nights. Luckily, we knew about them because we have been in the area several times, and they go everywhere. As long as you don't leave any food outside the premises or within their reach, it's okay. They're harmless, but they open things or containers that have food or the garbage cans.

Thank you so much for the great stay! The accommodation is ideally located: within walking distance of Potrero beach and several restaurants, with grocery stores just a few minutes away by car. The temperature was perfect throughout our stay. Activities like catamaran sailing, quad biking, or excursions to other beaches were very easy to organize. Even though we were a little less used to the outdoor kitchen, it brought the whole family together perfectly and created beautiful moments of sharing. We had a lovely time at your place and will definitely come back. We highly recommend your place; it's definitely worth visiting! Thanks again and see you soon maybe. Pura vida, Richard and family!

We had an amazing stay at Hakuna Matata. Our hosts were extremely responsive for any questions we had, and the villa itself is beautiful. You can hear the howler monkeys every morning, and you can even see them some days swinging from tree to tree! The location is very walkable to everything in Potrero, and a pretty easy drive (45-60 mins) from Liberia airport. The best café in our opinion is Nita cafe, just a 10 minute walk. The kitchen and common areas are outdoors, and this really encourages you to stay outside and enjoy the weather and private pool. Would highly recommend this AirBNB to anyone looking to visit Potrero!

We were all delighted with the place; the design is beautiful, it is fully equipped with everything and more than you would expect, it is really worth it, it will definitely become one of our places to visit again!! The hosts were very attentive

The location was great, only a block or two away from the main street of town. It had all the amenities we needed and it felt safe with the gated entrance! We always looked forward to getting back and being able to relax by the pool. Truly a slice of heaven!

Creature comforts meets full tropical immersion. This place was exactly what we we're looking for and it delivered. Safe and secure while offering great proximity to dining and beaches with a vibe that's pura vida all the way. Outdoor living is not for everybody, but it was exactly what drew us to this listing. Plus, when it's time to call it a day, you can rest assured the room will be cooled exactly as much as you need to get a great night's rest. Relax by the pool in the outdoor oasis, or grab yourself a golf cart to explore all the nearby beaches- it's up to you. Communication was great, check-in/out a breeze, and the well-curated environment had us feeling like we were part of nature, not imposing on it. Would love to come back in the future.

Very good host and place

We had a wonderful week stay at Hakuna Matata! The outdoor living space is beautiful and relaxing with plenty of comfortable patio furniture for all your lounging and dinning needs. The property is surrounded by trees and plants which give it a very private feel. We spotted Howler monkeys and beautiful birds in the trees each morning. Kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable, 2 on the ground floor with shared full bathroom and 1 on the upper level with its own bathroom and balcony. The pool is small but very clean and great for cooling off, my kids loved it. Just a few minutes walk to great restaurants, grocery store and beach. We felt very safe here and would 100% return and recommend staying here!
