This place was the perfect tropical retreat for our group of seven travelers. Great views, comfortable beds, glorious air conditioning, and the private beach was just right for a surprise-ish wedding ceremony. Our host Jennifer was wonderful, quick with her communication and putting us in touch with locals for anything we needed. She made sure we had contacts for every need and ensured our stay went smoothly. Hugo was great as well about checking in if we had any questions, plus taking us on a bucket list outing to snorkel with nurse sharks. A couple of the bicycles could use some maintenance, but even then, you can’t really complain about free transportation. Our stay was amazing and I wish we had more time to enjoy here. My teenager is super jealous of our shark encounter, so I have a feeling we’ll be back. :) One tip for future guests: BUG SPRAY. Bring more than you think you need and cover yourself in it. But the bites are worth it to sit in that hammock at sunset!

Wonderful stay at a slice of paradise! Our family of 6 loved the 4 cabanas! The housekeeper helped to let me arrange some groceries ahead and the caretaker was friendly and helpful.

Excellent place to stay. On the beach, common area to gather outside. Enjoyed the wildlife surrounding us. It was an interesting and special experience. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Driftwood! The property was beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable and just as pictured. We really enjoyed family dinners at the outdoor kitchen and our kids absolutely loved playing at the beach.

We rented out the entire place for our family for a week. We had an incredible stay! Driftwood is its own little secluded spot with its own beach. We used the bikes on the property to bike to the split each day and then ride the ferry across. We went snorkeling, scuba diving and exploring each day. It was so nice to have Driftwood as our hub so when we returned “Home” we felt like we were in a peaceful paradise. Anytime we had any questions we could reach out to the owner and the property manager. They were extremely helpful. The resources they gave us of contacts to talk to on the island or also extremely helpful. Driftwood provides an excellent spot for relaxation and adventure.

We loved the waterfront location overlooking the sunset. We booked all 4 units which made it intimate. To cook, it was a bit complex because the outdoor kitchen has a charcoal BBQ and only one electric burner, so making meals was quite long. However, there are a few restaurants on the northern part that are delicious and it's easy to go to the southern part which is much more lively. If we hadn't had all the units, it could have been complicated to share the kitchen with other tenants. We enjoyed the bikes for hiking in the streets which are very quiet and we had a golf cart which was useful because the road to get to the house was very muddy.

The place was fantastic! Just as advertised. We loved the local restaurants and Bliss Beach to the north. The grounds are spectacular. We didn’t use outdoor kitchen at all but had intended to. Loved the remote location away from the busy south side. Hugo and Jennifer were very responsive and helpful. The bikes were amazing! The rain made the road in a bit puddly but it made for more of an adventure. Really enjoyed it! Great spot.

Beautiful location on a quiet island. By your bug spray & sun screen, but that applies to the entire county. The beds and rooms were comfortable. AC was a blessing. The bikes could use replacing, so check in on the functioning of the bikes provided but the kayaks and paddle boards were very fun. All around wonderful get away. Be sure to make friends with the Split to Split water taxi people, great people there to meet your transportation needs!

Jennifer's place was amazing for our family trip of 7. Great communication, and Hugo (the property manager) was great at providing recommendations, checking in, and coordinating ferries and shuttles. Overall everyone was so friendly. The beachfront was perfect for snorkeling, there are little areas with plenty of sea life. We saw sea slugs, lobster, yellow spotted rays, cow fish, needle fish, checkered puffers, barracudas, and more; most of them juvenile. The bikes provided were perfect to get around the Northside or to venture further to the south via the split ferry. Being on the north, this was much more quiet. Also, the west side has much less Sarrgassum. Three of us did reef fishing and were able cooked fish all week in the outdoor kitchen. There were some mosquitoes and sand fies, but they weren't that bad. Couldn't recommend it more.

Clean and beautiful

Our family loved our stay at Driftwood. Jennifer and Hugo communicated clearly and helpfully before and throughout our stay. We loved taking out the paddleboards and kayaks into the water and had a blast exploring Caye Caulker. It was an exceptional five days in Belize!

Jennifer, the owner, was very helpful and responsive. Hugo, the property manager, made sure check in and check out were easy. Transportation can easily be arranged to get back and forth between the main land. A group of 8 friends rented the whole property for 4 days. The pictures of the property do not do it justice. We floated under the cabana and swang on the swings. We kayaked and paddle boarded. We biked from north side to south side. We made unforgettable memories at Driftwood and would definitely be back!
