The apartment is outside of the city center but within a 15 minute walk. It met my needs but not without some initial problems and stress. At first I rented the room for a month but then had to change it to just twelve days due to a family emergency. Fernanda didn’t respond to my communications about this until I contacted Airbnb. Then she apologized for the delay in communication and agreed to the change. A few days before the move I contacted her with some questions. No response. Finally her WhatsApp number was revealed on the site. I texted her through WhatsApp and she responded to that. Check in was a mess. I gave the listed address on Calle Jocotenango to the shuttle driver but it turns out the address listed on the site does not match the location. I was dropped off at the wrong place and had to have a tuk tuk driver bring me to the correct location after speaking to Fernanda. The apartment is located within an English school called La Excelencia at Calle La Subidita a San Felipe No. 17. If you type in La Excelencia English School on Google Maps it will guide you to the correct location.

Perfect location. Great price and it was exactly as described. If I am able to return to Antigua I will definitely be staying here. Fernanda also replied within 5 minutes if we had any questions.

Overall great apartment, perfect location, I felt very safe, and the bed was super comfortable! Just a heads up, the address listed won’t take you to the apartment on maps so that’s gonna take a minute to figure out. Only downside was unreliable internet, as someone who works online I wasn’t able to get work done some nights due to no connection. Fernanda did try her best to resolve the issue.

The stay at Fernanda's place was fine and you have a big apartment for little money. However, the place was not very clean, with stains on towels and bedspread. We also had a very hard time finding the place.

Very well situated apartment, about 15 minutes walk to the town center. Internet was available but slow, which is typical for the area. Make sure to bring water for drinking and bath soap. There is a coffee maker (bring basket filters) a microwave, gas stove and refrigerator. On the ground level is a washer and dryer, which came in quite handy. Two bath towels were provided for our stay. The shower is heated at the showerhead, but runs quire well. The host is remote, but responds to messages quickly. There is a small walk up grocery store, just outside the gate that sells many necessities as well as fresh tortillas. The historic center is a 12 minute walk away. All in all, it's a pleasant and cost effective place to stay.

Small apartment with views of the volcano in eruption! Fernanda was always responsive when needed, everything was great, I recommend it!

Apt is great price/location be prepared to hunt for a parking because there are none around. Bring some pillows. Other than that the place is great. Very clean. And not far at all from the main plaza and other attractions

We stay one month in the apto number 2 The Apartment is located inside an English school for that is really quite and relaxing. The kitchen is quite good equipped but some bigger pots would be nice to have. We had some issues with the Internet which took some days to fix but Fernanda often ask if she can help.The apto is good located close to la Iglesia la Merced and connecting roads. All in all we had a good time at the place!

Well located apartment in Antigua. The communication with Fernanda was great. We had a problem with the shower and this was quickly solved by an electrician. Below the property, there is a washer & dryer, which we greeted very much. The only shortcoming: the bed. The frame almost dissipates in individual parts.
