This home made the trip perfect. The staff is warm and friendly. The location is perfect. The trip would not have been the same if we had stayed somewhere else. It is truly the best location you could hope for. We also love that it’s not a modern style cold new build. It feels warm and authentic.

Wonderful location at the end of the beach. Full set of stairs down to beach. Amazing views from the palapa. Only stayed in the upper level - kitchen well stocked. Wind was intense most days, which added to the general sandiness of the porch. They did a good job keeping the porch clean. Needs a larger rug from the yard to patio wipe your feet/shoes bc it’s hard not to track in lots of dirt. The porch was wonderful, fan helpful for a breeze & keep few bugs away. Alexander met us there. I don’t think he speaks any English so luckily I speak ok Spanish ;) The howler monkey were SO fun! That said, this is not the vaca house should you want to sleep in - commotion starts before 6am most days! Really disappointed there were NO hammocks and not able to replace them during our week long stay. Only 1 beach, 1 bath towel/person. Wish they brought clean beach towels mid week. Can pay for laundry. 15 min walk to town. Other restaurants much closer. Can rent escooters if don’t want to walk.

Great location and beautiful

The Beach House is amazing! The location just steps away from the beach. Spending afternoons reading in a hammock while listening to the ocean can't be beat. The best part is that we didn't need to use our car once as everything was within walking distance to the city. The pool was a wonderful addition. We even got to see monkeys (believe they were spider monkeys) on our last afternoon enjoying lunch in the trees in the back yard. If we're ever back in Tamarindo, we will definitely book again. Great place!

This house is just perfection. You might think some of the pictures in the listing are file photos or screen savers, but no - they are real. It was the perfect home base for our week stay. The beach access was clutch, and the location was just a bit outside all the Main Street activity so it was quiet at night (unless monkeys were visiting). The house attendants were very nice and helpful. But of all the amenities, our favorite was Missy the house dog: she is the best behaved dog we know and saved us from a particularly aggressive crab one night. Literally the best dog ever: 14/10. We will be back!

Great location, private, very walkable. Host was very easy to communicate with. Good bargain for proximity to restaurants and beach. A little out of the main area of town but we preferred that and still easy to walk to everything.

Seriously I wish I could live here! The place is beautiful and made the start to our wedding week perfect! Donna was so communicative and I just wish we could stay there forever! Also huge bonus was Missy, the sweetest yellow lab that made that experience even more magical! Worth every penny, and if you’re second guessing don’t, and add more nights! Thank you for sharing this beautiful space!

Have to say, we’ve stayed in a lot of different places but this one “takes the cake!” We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Beach House. Anything you would need was available-kitchen well appointed, plenty of towels (in bathrooms & for beach), plenty of chairs on covered porch for when all 5 of us wanted to sit together as a group. We loved having the pool, the tiki hut, & easy access to the beach! Everything was very clean when we arrived & kept clean all week we were there. Ileana, the housekeeper, & Alexander, the groundskeeper, were very sweet & helpful. Of course we loved Missy always greeting us with a wagging tail! The setting of the property was awesome & the view out to the bay breathtaking! We would definitely look into staying at this property again if coming back to Costa Rica!

Having stayed in langosta for many years this house is a great location and great floor plan for 3 couples or a group of 6.

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again. The house is in the perfect location- a short walk to town and just steps from the beach. We also all fell in love with Missy. She is the sweetest dog. The owners are very responsive to any questions. They met us there to check in and even messaged me with restaurant and grocery store recommendations.

This place is a perfect place to stay! Beautiful scenery, steps to the beach, private hammocks that overlook the beach. Short walk down the beach, or roads, to restaurants and activities. The third bedroom is kind of separate from the other two, like an attached mother in law suite, perfect place for my parents to stay to be able to retire for the night earlier than us and the kids. We loved Missy, she was so sweet, loved walking on the beach and playing with the kids. The staff that came each day to clean were super nice and helpful! Shortly after she showed up, things were spotless again! We took advantage of the in-home traditional meal offered, it was delicious! Saw monkeys in the trees feet away from us on the porch. Took surfing lessons just down the beach. The hosts were super responsive and helpful with all our questions. Couldn’t have asked for a better, more relaxing place to stay on our first visit to Costa Rica!

WOW - this place was truly amazing and provided an exceptional launch pad for all of our fun in Tamarindo. The pool was amazing, the patio was way bigger than it looked in the pictures, there was chairs and boogie boards for us to use on the beach; basically this place exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff that cleaned and took care of the grounds were extremely polite and helpful - they also did a fantastic job. The house was always spotless, dishes were done before we could get to them, and the gardens surrounding the house were always in tip top shape. We completely fell in love and can't wait to come back. Also - Missy the lab was maybe the best part! She was incredibly well behaved and helped us to not miss our own dogs at home so much. Thank you for such an amazing vacation!

The Beach House was amazing! We loved the location being secluded from town yet right on the beach. All of the staff were very helpful, responsive and friendly. Missy, the yellow lab is an absolute sweetheart and greets you with a wag everytime you return. We also rented a golf cart through Pacific Coast (in Langosta), and it was perfect for running to and from town whenever we felt like it. All around, highly recommended!

The place was exactly what we were looking for it served our needs precisely. It was clean comfortable and definitely will be a place that I will stay again in the future.

The property was gorgeous. Right on the beach, walkable to town on the beach. The lovely pool, and Missy the dog, were added bonuses. And the troupe of howler monkeys at sunset- just amazing! The house was clean, comfortable beds, well-equipped. Would absolutely return!

Great location! Very short walk to the beach and a few blocks to town. Host is responsive and helpful. This is our 3rd stay so we love the place.

Donna’s place was great! Exactly like the photos & super close to the beach. About a 10-15 minute walk to most restaurants and the heart of Tamarindo, but wasn’t an issue. Beach was only about 4-5 min walk down a road / path and was very beautiful. She had the place cooled down & ready to go for when we got there. We were day late arriving due to a cancelled flight & she was super accommodating to that. Thank you, Donna!

We had an issue with another rental and had to leave. We were lucky to find this available, with Donna responding immediately to our inquiry. We were able to meet our co-host and get in, even though it was growing later into the night. Host was super responsive during the stay. Casa Luna is a private oasis. The garden and pool area are great to relax and read, have morning coffee or evening cocktails, yet the unit is very walkable to the beach and downtown, just outside the hubbub. The gated off-street parking is a bonus. The pool is a shared area with the second unit, but we hardly saw or heard anyone. We will keep these units in mind when traveling with another family and have a larger group. Interior was comfortable and the kitchen has basics to cook. Casa Luna was just what we needed and we would not hesitate to book again.

We loved the location of The Beach House and loved our perch from the tiki hut looking out over the water. Plenty of towels and bedding. Wonderful staff. Would come again!

Amazing house with the ocean in the background. Walkable to downtown Tamarindo. Missy is an amazingly friendly yellow lab, seems to be living her dream life. Place was cleaned every day. Would definitely stay here again. Follow Waze maps to get to the place, Garmin GPS didn’t work for us.

Beautiful property with pool just steps to the beach. Clean and comfortable home with gorgeous views. Daily housekeeping was a bonus. The cabana with hammocks and deck chairs was a lovely place to spend time. Everyone was super responsive to any questions. The only downside was the construction going on nextdoor. They appear to be building/remodeling a new home and they were jackhammering during the day on our last couple days. The sound was very loud on the pool side of the house so it was not very relaxing. We spent the first few days out exploring so we didn’t encounter the noise until our fourth day in, so I’m not sure how long the construction will be an issue but definitely worth noting. Other than that it was a perfect stay. The home is stocked with everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Thanks again for sharing your home with our family.

Paradise. Just plain paradise. This is a beautiful, immaculate home in a perfect, pristine location. It was spacious and lovely with heavenly grounds, sweet staff, and a gorgeous pool RIGHT ABOVE THE BEACH. The beds were like clouds, the porch was another giant living room, and even the house dog, Missy was a friendly face and wag each time you walked in. The walk to Tamarindo was easy (10 minutes) and yet this location takes you entirely out of the Gringo Grind of the thumping nightclubs, crowds and traffic. It's quiet and peaceful. You can see the stars at night and hear the tropical birds sing all day. The beach, below the house, is great for swimming and utterly uncrowded. There is a very short, easy walk from the beach out to the point, for incredible sunset views. There are two outdoor showers and a very pretty, refreshing pool as well as three bathrooms with great showers, (many ways to get wet!) We've probably stayed in at least 30 vacation rentals and this was the very best.

This was a spacious house in a good location just a couple minutes walk to the beach. There isn't any curb appeal, as the neighborhood is still being developed (rough, dirt road with other houses actively under construction), but once you get thru the gate the grounds and pool are actually depicted in the photos. The house itself was great for the six of us, with enough room to comfortably spread out. Except maybe the kitchen, which was a little tight. Otherwise, it was tidy but not really "clean." The place is beginning to need some attention , with some switches missing knobs and light bulbs not working, etc. Main complaint was poor exterior lighting combined with awkward transitions that caused a couple of stubbed toes.

Place was clean, spacious and in a great location. Far enough away from The Tamarindo noise but easily walkable to wherever. Beach is literally a 5 minute walk and the pool was nice in a beautiful yard which felt very private. Nice bbq area. If we were ever to go back to Tamarindo then we would definitely consider this place again. Great place to stay and highly recommend.

This was a beautiful and private spot with a perfect location. 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of town. Very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!

Excellent location, the apartment is spacious, comfortable, clean and safe; it is also pet friendly so we enjoyed a lot with our pets. Communication with managers is very good.

Donna’s place was amazing and very well maintained. There’s a beautiful walk way from the driveway to the door that’s full of lush plants, flowers and sounds of nature. There’s a pool and outdoor cooking area as well and the home is very close to everything you’d need for your stay in Tamarindo!

Amazing house great location photos don’t do it justice

Great place. Plenty big, close to town and close to beach. Very convenient. Private pool was very nice at end of day. Unit was a little dated. But would definitely recommend for Tamarindo if you didn’t want to be right in the middle of town with the craziness and noise.

Nice quiet place and great pool! Close to beach access and a nice yard to chill in. Beds were comfortable, house was clean and parking for my golf cart!

Donna’s place it’s awesome. Walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The house is fully closed with awesome air conditioning so no worries about bugs. The outside is fenced and appropriately secure. We felt safe and with freedom to let our small dogs wander while we were with them. There is a fence area to park your car safely. The guest bathroom could use some more love. We communicated with Katarina. Communication was awesome. When we had a concern/questions Katarina replied within in minutes. Katarina showed us around when we checked in at late hrs. Very nice and caring. We loved and enjoyed our stay.

Place is great - pool is big enough for 4-5 people and super clean!

The location is excellent! A few minutes' walk to the quieter part of the beach and restaurants and supermarkets. The apartment is spacious and very cool, the green areas are spacious and well cared for. In addition, we always receive excellent service. Highly recommended!

SUPER awesome place. Very clean, comfortable and has all amenities one would expect in a busy resort area. Beds were SUPER comfy along w. lots of towels for pool. Lush landscaping, very safe and secure. Our planned arrival time was delayed slightly, but Donna and her colleagues were super understanding and were actually waiting for us when we arrived ! Walked us thru the grounds, explained the pool features, security gate, A/C etc. For a group of five, it was the epitome of an awesome beach house in an excellent location at affordable price. Thank you so very much for making our 6 beaches/ towns/ 5 day road trip from Manual Antonio and back south all the better !

The house is amazing! Just steps from the beach and only a 5-minute walk to shops and restaurants. Daily house keeper and gardener keep the place immaculate and beautiful! Great host, very helpful from the beginning to answer any questions! We spent a lot of time enjoying the gazebo overlooking the ocean! We loved the company of Missy the lab! We would definitely stay here again!

We had the best time at this lovely and spacious casa surrounded by a lush garden. The 1-minute walk to the beach with great surf break made it even better! Donna was an excellent and helpful host.
