This was the perfect spot for us for our stay in Dominicalito. Very close to the Dominical shops, restaurants, and beaches. Rocas de Amancio was spectacular to see! A very unique area in Costa Rica. We toured Manuel Antonio, went Nauyaca Falls, and Poza Azul. All very close. Our favorite beach was Playa Linda also close. The space was authentic tico style and we loved it! Next door the restaurant Mariscos Amancio was the best food we have had in Costa Rica.. Highly recommend Ann’s place if you’re in the area.

We’re thrilled you enjoyed the authentic Costa Rican experience and had the chance to explore so many of our favorite places, from Rocas de Amancio and Playa Linda to Nauyaca Falls and Manuel Antonio. We’re especially happy to hear you loved Mariscos Amancio—it’s a local gem! It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d love to welcome you back whenever your travels bring you to Costa Rica again. Pura Vida! 🌴☀️

This is our second time staying here. Cozy house and we loved having the beach right there and the restaurant walking distance. Beautiful bird sounds in the morning. We only stayed for one night on our way to the Osa so we didn’t cook but the kitchen is great and well stocked if you are staying longer!

The accommodation offered by Anne is easy to access, secure, very functional and superbly equipped, and comfortable (bedding, fan, air conditioning, bath towels, etc.). It is close to the pretty little beach of Dominicalito, while also having the green space of a nice garden. Plus, it's very nicely decorated and has a lot of charm. Check-in is easy, and communication with Anne is very smooth, even without meeting her. I won't look for any other place than this one if I come back to Dominical.

Thank you, Sandrine and David, for your kind words. We are delighted that you enjoyed both the bungalow and the beautiful setting of Dominicalito. It means a lot to us that you appreciated the comfort, charm, and easy access to the beach. You were wonderful guests, and we truly appreciated your thoughtful communication throughout your stay. We would be thrilled to welcome you back anytime and are honored to hear that you would choose to stay with us again on a future visit to Dominical.

This little home was so amazing for our 1st Costa Rica experience! The house was exactly as shown in pictures, perfect for the 2 of us. When we first arrived I kind of wondered what we would do with our time, but that was never an issue. Our favorite thing was sitting on the back patio with a snack and drink and watching and listening to all the nature! Iguanas, geckos, so many birds, agouti. We only used the outdoor shower for our 5 days at the house. Despite the close neighbors, the house is so private! We took the activity recommendations and all were fantastic. Surfing, Cafe Don Emilio coffee tour, nearby waterfall which we hiked to. We had a fantastic experience here and I’ve already recommended this house to others looking for a Costa Rica trip. Thanks Ann for the excellent communication and for sharing your home!

It’s rare to stay on the ocean side of the highway around here and this place was absolutely charming! I’ll definitely be back! It’s better than the photos!

Thanks for your kind words. We are thrilled you enjoyed your time with us.

Great four night stay (we extended a night because it was so cool and such a livable space). Walk (2 mins) to an amazing sunset beach location -- and a bit further to a surf beach. Ideally situated between Playas Dominical and Dominicalito. Very private. The outdoor shower was excellent-- we used it more than the inside shower. Totally secure parking via remote operated gate, and the space had a tall cover perfect for protecting the car and surf boards from the hot sun. The kitchen appliances were all high-end--as well as the washer and dryer. ACs for the bedroom and TV/living room, otherwise high-powered ceiling fans in the kitchen dining areas were enough. A cozy, 'upscale rustic/ traditional Tico' space, but very efficiently laid out with everything you need. The garden areas front and back are really beautiful as well. A great visit, and we'll be back!

The house was a surprise despite the accurate photos because it is quite small and is very open (although there are screens on all windows). There is a detailed booklet about the house and surroundings that was very helpful. The kitchen is well-equipped but, as is true of the other rooms (especially the bathroom), bugs -- mainly ants -- can be a problem. This can be minimized with cleanliness and with keeping food in the large refrigerator. We appreciated that a cleaning lady came after a week. There was excellent lighting everywhere, making it easy to read. We loved the porch, where one can watch and listen to lots of birds and where we were able to see geckos, a toucan and an agouti. We also liked the restaurant next door. Overall, it was a pleasant place to relax and enjoy nature. The nearby beach is beautiful for walks and sunsets.

The traditional Costa Rican beach house was built 40 years ago with no glass windows, but the bedroom and living room can be closed off with AC units. It is spacious inside, and the yard and surrounding guards are very tropical and filled with birds. It was nice having a gate and shaded carport. The king bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet at night (no road noise, chickens, or dogs barking), but the birds can be very noisy at dawn. The separate washer and dryer are excellent and definitely a highlight here. A very nice secluded beach is a 2 minute walk, with amazing sunsets every night. This house had many more bugs and ants than any other place we stayed in Costa Rica, but we eventually got comfortable with it.
