Very nice and secluded. It's a good way to get away from the city. It has everything you need to spend a relaxing day or a day with a group.

The place is beautiful, with lots of little animals 🩷 and the hosts are extremely attentive. I would definitely return :)

An amazing place, a spectacular view, the place follows a concept that integrates everything to provide comfort and a feeling of well-being.

The pictures did not do this place justice. It was gorgeous and a real connection to the beauty of Costa Rica, with macaw parrots, toucans, and howler monkeys surrounding us daily. Manuel and Maya were great hosts and the place was wonderfully tended to.

I went with my family and another couple with children. The house is a treasure in the jungle. An unforgettable place. The view, the sounds, everything is magical. We saw a lot of animals, it's being inside nature. We will never forget this experience.

Our stay at Villa Macaw was simply wonderful. The place is amazing, completely surrounded by nature, which allows direct contact with the flora and proximity to the fauna. During the day and night we could see and hear toucans, monkeys, frogs and squirrels, which made the experience even more special especially for our younger children although we all enjoyed it. The house is really immersed in a biological reserve, with very well thought-out spaces to enjoy calmly. On more than one occasion we hesitated between going out to explore the area or simply enjoying the surroundings, which says a lot about the charm of the place. It is definitely a place we highly recommend for those looking for tranquility, nature and an authentic experience in Costa Rica.

The place was amazing ! Super private and surrounded by nature. Saw lots of different animals literally at the place. Super exotic experience and recommended 100%. Hosts were super responsive, fast and proactive. All in all, worth every penny!

Manuel's place is totally for disconnecting and interacting with nature, landscapes and the people you go with. It has a huge, fully open and warm living room/kitchen that makes it everyone's favorite space! Whether it's to talk, eat, or play board games. The rooms are separate houses with very good size and privacy. At night you can hear the howler monkeys howl and during the day the birds sing. I recommend it if you are looking for an experience to disconnect from everything, enjoy with family/friends and feel on top of everything. The house is super well equipped and you don't need anything!

Villa Macaw is definitely a paradise. I dare say that the place is even much better than what you can already see in the photos. You can see that Manuel and Maya do a great job to welcome you with the place in optimal condition, in every detail, even the garden, which is quite large. In general, you will rarely find a kitchen as spacious and complete as the one in this place, complemented by the fact that it integrates too well with the large living room and recreational area next to the pool. They have a wooden deck overlooking the stunning ocean where you can do yoga. The garden was really a great plus compared to other Airbnbs, the variety of nature and wildlife that abound here is incredible. Very good layout of rooms and beds, I really liked that the bathrooms were outdoors, they gave a different experience very close to nature, even so it felt the necessary privacy. Overall it's an amazing place that we definitely want to go back to.
