Studio in Playa Santa Teresa

Everything was great 😃

Santa Teresa is one of the most vibrant tourist destinations in Costa Rica. I love this place. It has the characteristics of an oceanfront hillside location, so to get to a significant number of the accommodations, you have to go up and down hills and cross streams. That's typical. I liked this place; the host responds quickly, and there is daily cleaning. Please note that the beach, sun, and sand conditions are challenging for any building, so the effort to keep them in good condition is always significant. The place is in good condition, just as shown in the photos. Pets are allowed. We had a great time.

We stayed a week, and we really felt at home away from home. The space is modern, well laid out, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, especially if you plan to cook, as we did (which is a big help considering the prices in Sta. Tere); overall, it is well equipped. The place is exactly as shown in the photos, which is always appreciated. It is on the third floor, so you have to climb stairs—it didn't bother us, but it's good to keep that in mind. One thing we loved was the peacefulness. There is no noise from parties or disturbances, and in the early morning, you can hear the Congo monkeys—we really enjoyed that connection with nature, although for light sleepers, it might be something to consider. The location is good, about 700 meters from the main street. In short: an absolutely fantastic stay in Santa Tere 🌴✨ We would definitely go back and recommend it.

We have had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb over the last few days. The location is fantastic, everything was exactly as described, and the place is truly gorgeous. It was very clean and maintained. The hostess was very nice and warm, which made our stay even more pleasant. A quick tip: If you are arriving by car, it is best to have a 4x4 or even a quad bike, as the access road can be a bit challenging. And as a special highlight, howler monkeys would come by every now and then – a real nature experience! We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the place.

The apartment is nice and clean, very much in line with the photos. Natalia’s service is very fast, and she is super friendly. She helped us with the issues we had, such as the air conditioning and the water supply. However, for an apartment designed for four people, the kitchen area does not have enough chairs, and the overall amenities could be improved. In addition, to get to the Airbnb, it would be better to use a 4x4 vehicle, as the road is difficult for a low-riding car, and it is steep and challenging to walk. On the positive side, we exceeded our daily step goal during the stay.

The place was as shown in the photos, however the location is a bit complicated, you have to cross part of a river. There is no parking and there were not enough cleaning supplies. We practically had to wash the dishes with soap from the bathroom sink. There were no disinfectants to clean the kitchen either. Overall the place was fine but it was difficult to keep the kitchen clean. Also the shower does not have a door so there is a lot of water spillage when bathing and there are not enough things to clean it. I do not include cleaning between days of stay.

A beautiful, modern apartment located on the top (third) floor. It’s spacious, with a very comfortable bed, a great bathtub, and a large bathroom with both a shower and tub. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you might need. We had a small issue with a clogged shower, which was resolved within an hour or two. Natalia was very responsive, and we really appreciated that. We had a great stay. We would recommend an ATV or a vehicle with higher ground clearance (our Suzuki Jimny was perfect). Getting to the apartment from Santa Teresa involves a steep incline, a steep and bumpy descent, and crossing a very shallow stream.

Santa Teresa is my favorite beach or was, but sadly the whole beach town has grown out of proportion. It was stated that man can reach the airbnb in a normal car which we did however given the state of the street it was almost not possible to get the auto out. We had to leave it outside three days in a restaurant parking lot on the Main Street. And rent a quad, which we were already planning to do. Without a quad is not possible anymore to enjoy santa teresa, if you rent a good 4x4 you won’t find easily a place to park it. There was also a party behind the hotel which took place in a hostel and couldn’t sleep at all for one of the nights of our long weekend. The kitchen implements don’t work correctly also. I want to point out the place is very charming inside, the bath tub is very cute and the ac works perfect. Natalia is also very nice and friendly and always with a proactive answer. I hope santa teresa finds its balance in the future. 💞

Superb accommodation, very luxurious and nice. The only downside was a very steep hill up and down to playa Santa Teresa and town. Otherwise, the location was perfect. The road down in the morning (12 min) was no problem but the hill up (17 min) after a day at the beach could be tough. However, you can turn it around and see it as pleasant exercise. Generally, it was a good location, close to a lot and quiet. The host was super quick to respond and very nice. Thank you.

Overall a lovely place. The apartment was just as beautiful and cozy as in the photos, and it was clean upon arrival. The location was perfect for us - close to the beach, yet far enough from the ”main street”. For a one-week stay, we would have appreciated slightly better kitchen equipment and a few more basic cleaning supplies (even something as simple as a dishcloth). During the night, the woven decorations hanging above the bed fell down, so hopefully they can be secured better for future guests. The headboard of the bed was also completely loose, so we had to be a bit careful with it. Yet, we enjoyed our stay!

Very nice and clean apartment, matches the photos, however it is important to consider that the road to get there is a bit complicated (a low car could not get there) you have to cross a small stream that if it rains it grows and there are very steep slopes. You can walk to the beach in about 15 minutes, but the road is difficult. It's about 10 minutes by car to downtown Santa Teresa. Consider that there is no parking inside the property, the car must be left outside the apartments, on the street. Apart from this, everything was very good.

I spent two and a half months in one of the apartments and it was really a great stay. The accommodation is really well located (provided you have a quad or a car - even if it can be done on foot too) and I just went through Natalia to rent the quad :) The view of the greenery from the apartment on the 3rd floor is just beautiful! The place was very clean and really modern, I really felt at home! And Natalia is really responsive to every request :) The only point to note anyway: there was construction that was constantly taking place around that time and that started early in the morning, but that seems to be the case everywhere in Santa Teresa! It didn't bother me more than that and it was still okay compared to other places I've stayed. I know I'll be back in the apartment when I come back! Thank you Natalia :)

The place is great, Natalia was so helpful throughout our trip. She definitely went above and beyond the duties of an Airbnb host.

The place was great, would definitely say there again, very easy to get to everywhere

We enjoyed the apartment very much. It was well equipped and attractively furnished, especially with the private bathrooms. The pool was also very welcoming. The only point of criticism is the difficult-to-drive road to the apartment. The listing stated that the road should be completed by our arrival, but construction was still in full swing. A 4x4 vehicle is definitely required. Nevertheless, we recommend the apartment as we lacked nothing during our stay.

Natalia’s place was absolutely wonderful — perhaps even better than the photos! Whoever designed this place did an amazing job. The bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in (I even wrote down the brand to see if I could find it at home — it was THAT comfy), and the big open space with all the sliding glass doors was such a joy to be in. Natalia was also just a great host. She was incredibly responsive to my questions and the minor issue that came up, and she was quick to get the place together for me to stay super last-minute when my original booking fell through. Had the shower been a bit better and the nearby river not been there (which made it difficult to cross to get to town without a car/ATV or when it was raining/dark), I would have happily stayed here my entire time in Santa Teresa. But not much they can do about the location :) I still wouldn’t hesitate to come back if in town again with transpiration!

Lovely apartment that felt secluded in beautiful surroundings of nature. Excellent management of the place - Natalia was really accommodating and responsive. We were there during the wet season so the road was a bit of a challenge for us during heavy rains (however, I’m pregnant and we’re traveling with a toddler - I think if you have an ATV it’s much easier to navigate). It’s close enough to everything to easily get supplies or go out, but tucked away enough to feel separate from the busier part of town. Pool and outdoor terrace are lovely.

For this price it is hard to find something better in Santa T. It is a downhill walk of 15 minutes to get to the main road. If you have a car it won’t take long but you need a 4x4 or VTT. Very clean, the shared poil is a great place to hang a meet new people! Great concept and great host! Natalia is really great, great energy and very helpful. One of the favorite people we met in Santa T. Hope you get to enjoy the spot as we did. If you have any questions about mountain biking in the area you should asked Natalia. =)
