The place was perfect for a big family vacation. Room for everyone to move around, to have their own space and be able to have a sit down meal together. Communication is great. We had asked about using Carmen’s services (caretaker) for meals etc, which just made life so much simpler for all of us! She did all the shopping, made dishes to our desires, amazing fresh food. She also helped out with getting us choferes with vans to take us to a few tourist places to sightsee. Will definitely come back here again.

Kayu house was great! From the moment I booked the house Robin’s communication was excellent, she even let us checkin as early as we wanted. I mentioned I was going for my birthday and she assured I would have a good time, I can confirm she was right! She even messaged me to wish me a happy birthday. Rene helped us unload our luggage and gave us a tour of the house. Carmen made me and friends feel at home, she cooked for us and her food was delicious. Henry made 3 trips to the airport in one day and he was always on time. The house is beautiful and perfect beach location. Thank you, Robin!

This place is absolutely amazing and very clean. If are still thinking and undecided if you should stay here, then let me tell you “stop looking” this is the place to stay. The staff, Carmen and Rene, were friendly and kept the place nice for us. They don’t bother you and Rene only only comes out in the morning to clean the pool and water the beautiful garden. Easy access to the beach where we were able to enjoy the waves and watch the surfers. Walking distance from the beach to the restaurants, bars, and markets. Overall great experience and would come back to Robin’s Place.

My family was very happy with the house. The house was clean and spacious. Carmen was wonderful. She is now part of our family. She also cooked a dinner for our family which was delicious 😋. Rene was nice. My husband enjoyed talking to him. Will be back next year.

This was an AMAZING HOUSE and perfect location! Just a few minutes from El Tunco and a few feet away from the beach! Robin was so kind and she had Carmen and Rene taking care of our place every day! This house is wonderful! It isn’t directly on the beach but there is an entrance right across the street that leads you right to it (an amazing spot to see the most beautiful sunrise!). The house is fully equipped with a fully stocked kitchen to make meals, a water jug, and towels for all guests. Robin, was super responsive on the app, and Carmen, the housekeeper, was amazing with our family. She checks in daily, cooked meals upon request and did our laundry (for a small fee). She was so kind and took really good care of us. Rene, the groundskeeper, was always around and made sure the pool and hammocks were ready to us daily, he was great. 10/10 stay and we’ll definitely return.

The best of Casa Kayu was the service. Carmen , Sandra and the gardener are very friendly and helpful. They took great care of us and were attentive to us. Communication with the host was good and consistent. We recommend it.

This is our second time staying at this place and it never disappoint us. From location and its proximity to El Tunco to comfortable beds and awesome pool. Carmen and Rene are always there to help you as well and keep the place clean and beautiful. I definitely recommend it.

All good, the location is perfect, there are so many things nearby. The house is large, clean, and comfortable. The only downside: we arrived and the person (very kind and very helpful) did not know that there was a reservation, this stressed my family a little, but in the end everything was resolved.

This place is absolutely amazing- my family and I were over the moon when we found this gem. We spent most of the time under the cabanas and in the pool. Beach access is directly across the street- maybe a 1 min walk. The rooms were spacious and fit all of our guests comfortably. Carmen was very friendly and accommodating- she gave us a full tour of the house upon arrival and made us feel welcome.

This place is truly amazing. It definitely exceeded our expectations. The house has a lot of space for big groups, the pool area is spectacular, and the AC rooms have plenty of beds for everyone. Carmen is the star of this place. She would go the market and buy groceries and cook the most delicious meals. Also, enjoy the $1 coconuts. You will not be disappointed by this place, Robin the owner will make sure all your questions are answered in a timely manner. We are coming back for round two, so should you.

Where to start ? Robin’s place is a beautiful comfortable house , has 2 smart TVs , wifi , beautiful swimming pool with enough towels for everyone . The bedrooms are very comfortable , comfortable mattresses and pillows clean , clean towels for everyone , with fans and Air Conditioner as well , the garden has hammocks and coconut trees ,I was able to drink fresh coconut water , delicious . Everything is very close like the famous Tunco beach 3 minutes away by car .But maybe what is most fabulous about this place is the people that greet you and take care of the house . Carmen is so polite , welcoming , one day she cooked for all of us , she grilled meat , sausages , she made a delicious salad and a mixed vegetables rice . I definitely recommend this place for a large group , you won’t regret it . 5 stars

If you are looking for some private and quiet place to relax with your love ones, this is it! The house is well-maintained, cleaned and very closed to the beach. Robin, the owner, was very responsive to all inquiries and Carmen and Rene were extremely helpful and courteous.

They were very friendly, Carmen is an amazing cook, and they knew the best places to recommend when we wanted to get out for a bit. The pool and home were very clean. Very spacious! Wow!! What a great stay at Kayu Casa!!! We had a wonderful time with our family. The house is so beautiful, spacious and open. Very clean and welcoming too. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The outside area and the pool are awesome too, a very relaxing space. The beach is right across the street, but the beach is covering rocks and it's not really apt for swimming or lounging. However, with the pool and comfort of the house, I barely missed it. The greatest part of our stay though, were Carmen and Rene. They were, simply put, amazing! Carmen cooks so well, and she and Rene were so friendly, kind and helpful! They really made our stay so much better. Casa Kayu was an amazing time with my family! We loved it and hope to be back in the future!

My family and I had an amazing time at Kayu house we loved it and did not want to leave I really recommend this beautiful place for anyone who wants to spend quality time with friends and family. This place is super clean, modern, cozy and with plenty of beds. Definitely the beach is for surfers not much for regular folks. The amount of rocks is insane but the waves are amazing!! It’s literally steps from surf city and close to many other restaurants. There is a brewery a mile up the road and some other amazing spots on the coast. The caretakers are so friendly and willing to help out with anything. Overall a great place to chill. The AC was perfect and do was the Internet connection

Ideal location close to every attraction in the area. The house and pool area is gorgeous. Can't say enough great things about Carmen who makes a wonderful breakfast and helped my spouse organize a Mariachi band surprise right on the pool deck on my birthday. I really felt comfortable at this place. The AC in the rooms is excellent. Easy communication with Robin before and during the stay was also appreciated.

Robin’s place was beyond amazing!! Probably one of the best Airbnb’s i’ve stayed in. From the location to the decor it was all so beautiful. My family of 15 stayed here and Carmen (house keeper/chef) really helped us make it one of the best family vacations we’ve had. Every day she cooked us a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a reasonable extra charge. She even went out if her way to order us a cake and mirachi to help celebrate a niece’s birthday. Anything we needed she was there ready to help with a smile. She’s truly the best of the best. No problems with the house, staff, locals. We all felt very safe and welcomed. Any questions I had were answered in full detail by Robin (owner). We will definitely be coming back here!

I am so glad I booked this Airbnb as early as I did. It's a true gem. we literallycrossed the street and were at the beach. El Tunco town is walking distance. We visited Acantilados and Hola Beto's with the help of her driver Toño. Having a trusty driver made a huge difference as we were able to explore. We had never been there and wanted to see as much as possible. And the place looks just the pictures. Carmen is available if you have questions, or need help. They had wifi. I'd stay again. Thanks Robin for the quick responses. Truly a great stay.

This house is incredibly beautiful!!! From the pool to the kitchen!! Everything thing you need is provided by Robin, the master bedroom is huge! with a view of the ocean, the bunk beds in all the other rooms are custom made I believe because they are bigger then regular bunk beds, the kitchen is fully furnished with everything you'll need to cook and if you don't there's the kayu restaurant right across the house and the beach across the road. I really can't thank Robin enough for letting us stay there, it was beautiful and I was able to reunite with my family who I hadn't seen since I was 9 years old, I made beautiful memories that I will always have with me.

The house is very modern, big, comfortable, beautiful and VERY clean. The location is perfect, feels very safe specially with the guard at the gate. Carmen is amazing, she cooks like a pro, very warm. she welcomed us with open arms, she guided us and really took care of us in every form. The house has a lot of stairs but very safe with kids, the pool is perfect if traveling with kids as well. The cabana beds and the lounge benches were amazing very beautiful and comfortable. Our group was 15 people including 7 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. Definitely coming back soon. Thank you

The location of the house is wonderful and the house is comfortable and very beautiful. It really has everything you need to have a great time.

Place was great and has plenty of space for many people. Place was clean and the beach is probably like a 3 minute walk after crossing the street. Place feels safe, it's gated next to the Kayu resort. I would definitely go back there next time I go to El Salvador. I really liked the place.

The house was completely impecable, a complete kitchen, we had the greatest time with family and friends, everything is close by, restaurants, little stores, the pier is close to go and get fresh seafood, is nice and quiet, the pool was nice and warm, Carmen was absolutely helpful and I can’t stop saying good things about it, will definitely go back!

Nice house, very well equipped in all environments, suitable for children, nice deck with swimming pool. Spacious kitchen with all the necessary utensils. Very courteous and helpful staff. Walking distance of the Tunco, the passage through the bar makes it very easy and accessible. A really recommended house!

The home is beautiful with plenty of beds and sitting space. There is usually someone who takes care of the home on site in the apartment below the house. They do a great job making your stay feel private. Carmen one of the caretakers helped us go to the local fish market and cooked an amazing dinner for us ! We were also greeted with fresh cut coconuts when arriving. The beach is nice but best for surfing due to the strong waves and rocky shore. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool and grilling. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it !

Wow! What can I say about this place? My family and I absolutely LOVED it and we didn’t want to leave! The place was sparkling clean and all the amenities were great. This place is ideal for large parties. My nephews and nieces enjoyed the pool a ton. The beach is just steps away from this beautiful property. I can’t make enough positive remarks about this place! It is truly a lovely space with a wonderful view and such a relaxing environment. I felt extremely safe with the guards there at night. It is an easy walkable distance to El Tunco to be able to enjoy the restaurants and activities there. Also, it is even more convenient that Kayu Resort is on the same property to be able to dine there if wanted. The house was spotless and Carmen and Rene who care for the house are attentive and helpful. It’s so nice to be able to have the option of swimming in the pool or in the ocean! Since it’s conveniently located across the street from the beach it was great to be able to just walk over for the sunset. Robin was quick with her responses and provided useful tips! I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to stay again!!
