Really great hosts! They were very communicative and proactive. Very nice place and was really clean. The decor was also really pleasant, as were all the amazing things to do nearby!

The accommodation is really very nice and cozy, and it's surrounded by the beautiful nature of Ometepe. In addition, it is located just a few minutes walk from my favorite restaurant on the island: El Pital. Everything was clean, tidy, and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with the hosts was excellent at all times. I definitely highly recommend this place. Thank you very much!

Beautiful, spacious home in a magical setting. Liya and Javier were very responsive and friendly with communication, especially in regard to an issue that arose with the house; Javier did his best to coordinate a quick assessment and solving of the situation with a professional, and Liya was fast and proactive in offering compensation for the challenges we faced due to the issue. Amazing location with a stunning view in very close walking distance to fantastic restaurants and the entire town of Balgue itself. Highly recommended.

This hidden gem was a great find. Liya thought of everything to make it an easy adventure. For the record, there were scattered rain storms throughout the day and we still had very hot water, even still in the morning. 10 out of 10 we will be back again!

No AC but multiple fans so it was fine. It’s also right by Raindance and a bus that hosts local events.

I loved staying at Liya,s place on the island! It was a beautiful stay and had great restaurants all around. It is not very walkable to the activities but you can easily rent a scooter or arrange a private car. I had a great time stay in this beautiful home.

Beautiful home and property in a great waterfront location. It was perfect for our large family. There is air conditioning in every bedroom which is a huge plus. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. There is also a caretaker who lives on the property, and she was very helpful whenever we needed assistance. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

The place is located in a very unique location, surrounded by trees and a peek of the lake could be seen. Large and very airy place. On our last night the power went out around 10pm and stayed out until after sunrise, considering the private location, it got pitch black. The host brought me candles and it all worked out.

Very nice little house with a garden and a super nice covered terrace. The house is well ventilated and the mosquito nets are in very good condition, which is very helpful because there are many power outages on Ometepe. Large and comfortable beds, nice neighborhood with a supermarket and beaches not far away, as well as the main sites to visit. Independent check-in with a code lock, which is very convenient. The Wednesday party doesn't bother you, or do like me and go have a drink. We felt very comfortable there, like at home.

Great location and large spacious house for our family. Lovely patio. We loved the large kitchen to cook meals and area outside to wash and hang clothes. Liya and Javier were the most communicative, quick and friendly co-hosts for all of our questions - whether for local recommendations, questions about the house, etc. There is no A/C but every room has ceiling fans and plenty of portable fans to move to where you may need to use them for daily living/sleeping; however, be aware of this if you are used to having A/C. It was warmer than it usually is this time of year. Plenty of local restaurants, and shops to buy necessities, smoothie place right next door part of the Zopilote finca, and even an outdoor school literally right next door our 6 year old daughter had the pleasure of being a part of for the almost 2 weeks we were in the area. It was also mango season so we had plenty of fruit to enjoy from the fruit that fell from the trees. Lovely home and location!
