This is easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The home is beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. And the ocean view is truly unforgettable. We literally spent hours just taking it all in. The hosts were wonderful. They are responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The road to the property is unpaved and definitely requires a 4x4, but for us, that was part of the fun and adventure and made the experience feel even more special. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a beautiful and peaceful place to experience Costa Rica.

Overall our stay here was amazing!!! The house, pool, and surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful. We loved all the animal noises and had daily visits from toucans, coati, and hawks. We also liked that the home was close to a few different towns and waterfalls that we could explore. On the morning of our check in day, the owner reached out and let us know there was an issue with the WiFi; while this wasn’t a huge problem, cell phone receptivity was spotty. We definitely appreciated the heads up! The road to the house was also pretty intense; our 4 wheel drive vehicle struggled a bit to make it up the road, and we ended up with a flat tire upon our arrival. But the owners were very helpful and gave us a contact in town to assist us. The trek to the house is beyond worth it, would highly recommend a stay here!

Incredibly beautiful spot!

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. This location is nothing short of magical. We had the most amazing time — you truly won’t want to leave once you arrive. Absolutely breathtaking views and such a special atmosphere. A 4x4 is absolutely non-negotiable. The drive from the main road is steep, rugged, and very bumpy in parts, but completely worth it for the incredible location and views waiting at the top. We loved starting our mornings at Mono Congo for coffee and breakfast, and Chef Lupita (recommended by the host) was such a great decision as well. One of our favorite parts was seeing toucans and parrots visit daily — it honestly felt unreal. The host was incredible throughout the entire trip: extremely responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is gorgeous, the view is stunning, and the pool was perfection. Daily visits from the local wildlife made our trip all the more memorable — the coatis and howler monkeys were such fun to see. The perfect home base after a day out adventuring.

Our family of 5 had the absolute best time staying here! The house was absolutely amazing — even better than we expected. The views, the privacy, and the overall experience made this one of the most memorable places we’ve ever stayed. Fair warning — the drive up is not for the weak, and a 4x4 is definitely required, but once you get there it is 100% worth it. The location feels like your own private paradise, and it makes the adventure of getting there part of the experience. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We made so many great family memories here and truly didn’t want to leave. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable Costa Rica getaway!

Beautiful location! Saw Tucans every morning and every evening. The view was incredible! Recommendations from the host about a local chef that cooked meals on property was the best thing we did. The drive up the mountain took about 20 minutes so it would’ve been hard to go out and grab meals, but the view was totally worth it! It worked well for our family with older children, but would not recommend the location for families with young children as the bedrooms are all accessible outside. There is no indoor staircase connecting the rooms. That was a surprise and something we couldn’t see by photos. We absolutely would come here again though. Very private. Felt very safe and the view was breathtaking! Rooms and views looked just like the photos. Very responsive host and very clean property. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

The place is amazing. A view so good you almost don’t want to leave the house. We saw Macaws, Tuscans, and howler monkeys all at the house. The road is definitely 4x4 because it’s steep at times but it’s well maintained. You are a good 20 minutes to the main road and then 10 in either direction to Dominical or Uvita. You don’t go back and forth a lot each day but it’s worth the drive for that view!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful and secluded home

Absolutely stunning setting, very peaceful with amazing views over the infinity pool. You also get an incredible view from the master bedroom. Lovely outdoor cooking space (although you have to be careful with the pizotes!) The drive up to the property is roughly 15 mins up quite a steep track with large bumps. All doable but worth arriving in the day time and having a 4x4. Hosts were very responsive and provided local recommendations for us. Great place to relax and 20-30 mins drive to Dominical and Uvita which both have great surf options + local food / coffee spots. Great place to end our trip in Costa Rica!

The pool, the view and the house are awesome - a true paradise! The encounters with the animal world were also a highlight. Toucan, agouti, iguana, coati and Co. visited us daily. The whole place was extremely clean and the beds very comfortable. We had a great sleep! The 20-minute drive on side roads (unpaved and very rocky) is a bit tedious and requires a 4x4. For the use of the tennis court (community court), you must bring your own rackets (no rental on site). This should definitely be mentioned in the listing. Likewise, the training room with strength equipment. We could not use this because we did not have the required access magnetic card.

Amazing place, beautiful views and surrounded by nature was a peaceful place we made sure we spent time to enjoy. Really detailed check in information and recommendations with responsive hosts, we had a power cut due to the rain but luckily the bbq is gas so we’re still able to cook It states to bring a 4x4 but would also suggest being an experienced driver

Beautiful and peaceful home with fabulous views! The road in is rough and bumpy as many are in Costa Rica. Definitely need 4x4 but so worth it!
