A cabin in the middle of the tropical forest. For us, coming from Spain, it seemed like something out of a fairy tale! Great value! Perfect if you're looking for an authentic, quiet place in contact with nature and very close to La Fortuna

Roberto‘s place is paradise, as long as you don’t mind bugs here and there, and the sound of birds and roosters. For our family, it was absolutely magical. We learned to keep the curtains closed when dark to keep bugs from coming in. Roberto is a wonderful host. I wish we could return to his place right now!

Beautiful location in the rainforest area, lots to do on the property.

Beautiful stay that totally out-did the photos online. Perfect setup for our family of 7. Kids loved roaming the property, looking for frogs at night, swimming in pool, visiting with farm animals. Bring flashlights to look for animals at night. Kitchen was adequately stocked to make some meals (and chickens kindly left us some eggs in the bushes). Beds comfortable. No AC or hot water (as advertised) but water safe to drink. Woke early to roosters, which we found peaceful but may not be for everyone. Nothing walking distance, but nice distance from town to get some space and feel immersed in nature. Great outdoor hangout spaces, including extra bathrooms and two outdoor kitchens. Didn’t rain while we were there but would have probably been relieved to have a high clearance vehicle if it did - was a bit steep getting in and out of property. We were so sad to leave and would book again in a heartbeat.

This must be one of Costa Rica's hidden treasures. Fantastic nature and environment. Wonderful garden with pool and lots of animals. Chickens, dogs, birds, etc. We loved it. We cooked in the outdoor kitchen, played games and enjoyed nature. La Fortuna is 15 minutes away for those who miss the city.

Pros : Awesome location Apt for a group of 8-10 people Open kitchen Swimming pool Best volleyball court Swings Cons: Hard to locate during night Lower room bathroom has Bats which makes it scary to use them during night. Open shower area - suggestion : can be meshed. No Hot water. If hot water is made accessible it would be great .

Truly unique Costa Rica experience. My kids loved playing on the volleyball and soccer field. It rained a lot, so they just played in the rain. You should be aware, it’s rustic- so it may not be for everyone, but we enjoyed it. The animals were very cool. Cows, horses, chickens, roosters, turkeys, dogs. The roosters were vocal early, but we loved it.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this idyllic cabaña. We were warmly welcomed. It is beautifully located and equipped with everything we needed. Ideal for hiking around Arenal from here. The roaming chickens and dogs made it extra fun for the kids. We also enjoyed using the swimming pool and the pool.

The property is beautiful and easily gives that authentic feeling. Tons of wildlife on the property. Also a lot of things to do just on the property as well as having La Fortuna less than 10 minuses away.
