AMAZING stay at the butterfly house! The property was beautiful, easy to find, and secluded. We felt safe and comfortable the entire stay. Safe drinking water was provided which was an excellent surprise. Dogs and cats around were always a plus :) would absolutely stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone who asks

Hannah’s place has amazing views, lots of comfort and close to a lot of fun things on Ometepe. The farm animals and greenery created a lot of peace. The place has several dogs and two cats, all of which were super friendly and cuddly. Joshua and the other workers on the farm were very kind and gave us some great recommendations. We had homemade breakfast which was really yummy and varied each morning. The house is equipped with all the essentials and is extremely spacious! Truly a one of a kind magical space in Ometepe and one of my favorite airbnbs. The only con about the place was that the sofa bed underneath the couch was not very functional. It was difficult to pull out and the mattress was not super comfortable. The alternative for a 3rd person would be to sleep on the couch but definitely not as comfy as the beds. Overall I would recommend this amazing space.

From the moment we set foot on the property, it was like a peaceful, majestic slice of paradise! What a perfect place to disconnect from a fast-paced routine, and appreciate the beauty of God's creation. Joshua and the other staff were amazing hosts, and even the animals were warm and welcoming! We would highly recommend this property for a serene, joyful stay!

Finca Ometepe was everything I needed it to be and more. This homey accommodation situated right in the middle of a farm was an absolute dream. The pictures and description in the listing are accurate. The hosts are timely with communication and helpful for recommendations. The staff on the farm are all very friendly and welcoming. I felt so at peace here. Making friends with the animals. Picking fresh fruit to have with my breakfasts. Relaxing in the hammock as the sun sets. It doesn’t get any better than this. I recommend a scooter or ATV rental to get around Ometepe from here as taking taxis all the time can be pretty expensive. Roads are easy to navigate as instructions from maps & locals are very clear. A lot of food options within 10 mins of driving/riding from the finca. I enjoyed this lush, private piece of paradise and will tell everyone I know about it. 10/10. Book this stay. You will not regret it

The property was as described. Clean, beautiful, spacious. Only two rooms had ac but we made it work. Really enjoyed the netted back patio, always a good breeze back there.

The stay in the kingfisher house was amazing Hanna was a great host and super responsive took very good care of us and helped us while there were power outages

One of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed in! Incredibly tranquil and serene place tucked away but close to Balgue. Breakfast was great and the staff were very accommodating.

Our stay at Hanna's on the island was our favorite! The setting, the activities, and the people are worth the trip. Hanna is a host who was attentive to our needs, and we were moved to another of her properties, which was truly more luxurious than we could have afforded before our arrival, as there was a minor issue with the one we had rented. So I can't rate Finca Ometepe, but the Heron was truly splendid!!! Thanks to Hanna and her team for this wonderful stay 😃

Great spot to stay quiet and peaceful right on the lake, just as described.

Absolutely amazing!! I would give 10 stars if possible!! The Kingfisher house was a slice of heaven. The house itself is easy to find. It was exactly as described and better. The house was immaculate. AC worked perfectly. WiFi was fast. The filtered water provided was so convenient. The location on the lake was incredible. Sitting on the patio, listening to the waves, and watching the butterflies and birds was so peaceful. After a long day of exploring the island, we were welcomed home by the sweetest dogs. It truly felt like our home away from home. It was hard to leave!!!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay. The sound of the lake could be heard all night through the main bedroom. There was a/c and a flushable toilet which did not seem common for the island. The home is stunning and thoughtfully put together, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout. The comfort level was exceptional—I had some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time.

Fantastic! The house was very clean and had everything you need to take care of yourself. We loved the tranquility, the sound of the waves, the sunset, and the cute monkeys in the trees. The garden is beautifully landscaped with lots of flowers, and the hummingbirds are clearly enjoying themselves. The communication with Hanna was straightforward. Unfortunately, what we were missing was the information that the ferry to Omepete with a rental car needs to be reserved well in advance (especially during holiday periods like Easter, Christmas, etc.). We couldn't get any more tickets through the normal channels, but we were lucky to find someone through an online service who was able to get us tickets for the rental car at the last minute. Without a rental car, the house is not an option if you have children. This should be made much clearer in the listing for future guests, as there is no cancellation option. All in all, we had a few wonderful days at Kingfisher House.

As others have said - this is truly a unique place and is really wonderful. We brought our young kids with us and they loved it here as well. From walking the farm and seeing the animals to the monkeys hanging out in the trees in the morning, it doesn't get any better. very peaceful.

Amazing stay. I wish I could retire here. The sunsets from the water were amazing. The garden beautiful with lots of hummingbirds and fireflies at night. Herons, ducks and other birds can be seen throughout the day. Truly an unforgettable stay.
