The place is very nice. It is a good house, well located and pretty, very good for relaxing. Note! I recommend leaving everything closed, doors and windows, when you go out and checking the blinds carefully so that they are secure and thus avoid incidents or losses...

What a special place tucked away in Punta Islita, yet still a part of the larger hotel/resort amenities. Exceeded expectations. Perfect for 2 families joining up for a vacation, who need a kitchen, laundry and pool yet can still figure out some adult private time. Loved the proximity to the beach, pool and bar there. It's a 10 min walk on a walkway covered by trees for most of it- needed in the dry/hot season. It was super helpful to be connected with site manager/concierge, he and Nancy both helped with questions. We did a bunch of activities (saw monkeys with a guide right outside and surfed) and got to relax. Very worth the bumpy ride out. Have your 4x4 and your all set.

This is a must book, one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed in and even more stunning in person than the photos. It feels like a luxury stay and has all possible amenities. Jorge the gardener maintains the property so beautifully, and it has its own little walking trail around the grounds. He cut down fresh coconuts for my children to try. It also felt like some kind of wonderful cheat code to be able to set up an account at the hotel and use their facilities, which are also luxury level stunning. It’s about a two minute drive to the beach and five minutes from the little town Islita with a couple of restaurants. I hope we can come back again.

We love Punta Islita!! Marbella was a great place to stay and enjoy this incredible place! Very clean and attentive. Great location for all we wanted to do. Make sure you get groceries before. Playa islita is perfect for body boarding and swimming, playa Corozalito is beautiful and has turtles, playa San Miguel had the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. Tons of macaws and parrots right around us, monkeys in the trees on our way to San Miguel. Loved our time here and can’t wait to come back!

Our two week stay at Marbella was wonderful ! We travelled with our 7 month old daughter and had some family join us for the second week and the guest house worked out perfectly. My parents commented several times how much they enjoyed having their own space. The property is VERY well maintained by a lovely gentlemen named Jorge - he comes everyday and keeps the pool and surrounding areas absolutely pristine. We were able to enjoy all of the amenities at the hotel throughout our stay (beach, pools, restaurants, spa etc.) and even arranged some excursions through them as well. The property was much more remote than we anticipated - we rented a car and I honestly cant imagine being there without one, especially if you plan on going back and forth to the hotel and into town to do groceries. Ronald (the onsite host) arranged several beautiful dinners by a private chef in the villa - I highly recommend this if you have the chance! Nancy was very responsive & helpful throughout our stay

This is a one of a kind house. Costa Rican luxury home with style and refinement. It was a joy to have the opportunity to live in this fabulous grand property for a whole week. The location is just remote enough to be in true nature between jungle and the sea. We went to a different beach every day of our seven day vacation. Saw monkeys and coatis almost every day along the roads. Even saw a bunch of macaw parrots flying over one of the beaches. The house is really fully equipped with all you need in the kitchen. Both bath towels and beach towels are supplied. The pool was my kids favorite spot to spend the afternoons as we sipped on our drinks looking at the sun setting. This house was absolutely sublime!

Marbella was exactly as expected, a gorgeous house, lots of space, clean pool, beautiful grounds, and private. This is our third time at Punta Islita and first at Marbella. Since it’s not through Punta Islita Hotel, you can just open an account with them at reception and use that number for food at the Beach Club, experiences, room service, etc. I do recommend a car and not relying on shuttles as Punta Islita is remote and nothing is very close. We loved staying at Marbella as they have everything - even have smart TV’s for when we needed a break from the sun. We always grab some groceries closed to Samara on our way in to make breakfast and have snack, and the full kitchen makes that easy. We used what’s app to communicate with the local property manager and he was always very responsive. We would definitely stay at Marbella again and are grateful for our time at Punta Islita.

The perfect space for our large family to experience Costa Rica.

the house of Nancy in Punta Islita is extremely beautiful, it is just as it is in the photos...I thought it a little bigger but in the same way it was very well distributed and coincided with the photos of the listing. The only thing she left to think about is that she does not have a single slice of the whole house. If you open a door or window, insects pass through as Pedro through his house in and that made it not put a five on everything. There were many mosquitoes and flies, and the few times we opened so we didn't feel completely locked in enough. Everything else is very beautiful... pool, gardens, spectacular view... absolutely everything else is very beautiful, but as I said before in any area of Costa Rica, the cedars are mandatory due to the weather and wildlife conditions. Very good communication with Nancy and her caretakers and gave us a whole day their Honda cart to walk everywhere,. That it was very special and kind of them. The 4 kids had fun.

This is an absolutely spectacular find! The house is amazing- far better than the pics. We were there with a party of 6. Separate unit for the grandparents was a great touch and we stayed with our two kids in the main house. Everything you needed was there for a great stay. The beach club is awesome- you can rent surfboards or boogie boards there and the beach is great for swimming and walking (although a decent sized surf so take heed). Kids loved the pool down there - always towels and beach loungers available. The pool up at the main resort is for 16 and over but my hubby and I snuck up there for a quick swim and the view is pretty spectacular. Couple nice restaurants in town as well as the hotel restaurant which was very good. Bring groceries from Samara or Estrada if possible but there is a little super in town for basics. The Macaw Rescue network was a great visit and there are many free activities available through the hotel as well.

This is a gorgeous Villa that is very tastefully appointed with beautiful natural wood furnishings. The yard is beautifully maintained and the pool is perfect - nice and big. Beds very comfortable, great AC, lots of room for entertaining - large table for dining inside and a table for dining/sitting outside under a cabana roof is provided. Punta Islita is beautiful. The hotel provides very quick shuttle - just call and they send someone to pick you up and take you to the beach club or up to the hotel restaurant and swim up bar in pool. Nancy is a great host.

We were blown away by this home and the resort. Truly breathtaking views, Amazing service, so many activities for kids and parents provided by the resort! We loved the private pool in the yard as well as the pool on the beach for the family! The infinity edge pool for the grownups was also really stunning. The home is lovely, great cozy beds, indoor/ and outdoor showers, and everything you need in the kitchen, plus an amazing view of the ocean. The house easily fit our family (two parents, a great grandma, and 4 kids!)
