Hotel Arca de Noé was close to the docs and easy to find. The views from the room were great to watch the sunrise each morning. Communication after booking was much slower than before booking and lots of questions went unanswered. The staff were very helpful - our water heater was not working the first day but they got it fixed quickly. Note - the wifi was not working our entire stay. We asked but didn’t get a response until a day after checking out that someone was coming to fix it. Great location but not as quiet as expected. Lots of noise from boats on the docks early morning (had some loud music from a party boat starting around 6am) and from nearby hostel (until 2-3am) and not much to insulate from the noise. The food is great but you need a reservation before 5. I’d eat here at least once while you stay. Same goes for most other restaurants in Santa Cruz la Laguna.

Dear Matt, Thanks for your review. Totally understand that we could not succeed your expectation. In most cases we have bee very responsive and have done our best all the time, which did not happen while you were here. Those two days we had several issues at our property and were working hard to get it solved as we did had other guest at our property too. As for the issue with the wifi we could not solved it as we had to wait for the broken piece from Guatemala City and it did take a while to get here. Still I hope you enjoyed over all Lake Atitlan, and a few days during the year some local restaurants have life music and we cannot do much about it. You will always hear the boat around as we are quite close to the boat area! Again, we wish you safe travels!
