Everything was great. The only things the house lacks are a washer and a dryer. You need to buy your own shampoo and conditioner for bathing, and if you want to cook, you have to buy everything. There are no condiments. The house is nice, small but cozy. It's close to Jacó and good restaurants. It's very private, just for the family. And it is strictly forbidden to bring a friend.

We liked it very much. There were perhaps some issues with the kitchen utensils (very poor quality pans, everything stuck, and they looked unappealing (stained)). Everything else was excellent. I 100% recommend it and would definitely come back 👍

It's a beautiful place. My family and I spent a wonderful few days at the house. From the moment we arrived, we found everything super clean and in excellent condition. The house is in a prime location at the entrance to the condominium. The pool area and barbecue area are super convenient. Overall, we had a very nice vacation at this place. I recommend it 100%.

Wonderful house, with backyard private oasis. Host has an extensive list of rules to keep the property in pristine condition, so dont expect this to be a place to party. Be respectful of the property, and you will enjoy it like we did!

The place was absolutely beautiful and easy to find. We did find that the communication with the host was kind of complicated. She was repeatedly sending us the same instructions over and over again. Even before checking in, you are already overwhelmed with all the messages from her. Even when we acknowledged the instructions the first time. In addition, there are excessive check out tasks, and the host indicates excessive fines for things such as living a light on. We always take care of every place we visit as if it were our home. But this communication felt overwhelming — even when we had an issue with the fridge and found what clearly was dog poop in the inner yard. But again, the place and location are good!

Regarding the multiple messages, these are actually automated responses generated by the Airbnb app. We understand how this can feel overwhelming, and we have already reported the issue to Airbnb, as it has been sending duplicate messages to guests. In terms of the fines and checkout guidelines, these are in place to help maintain the property in the same beautiful condition that you experienced during your stay. We aim to ensure every guest enjoys the space just as much. As for what was reported on the day of your checkout, that is most likely iguana droppings. The home is located in a green, natural area, and occasionally nature can be a bit beyond our control. You are always welcome back anytime—we would be happy to host you again.

We had an excellent experience in Herradura. The condo is very comfortable, well equipped, and truly designed for relaxation; it has all the amenities you need for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Also, the location is very convenient: just 5 minutes away, there is a plaza with everything you need (supermarket, restaurants, etc.), which makes everything much easier during your stay. We definitely recommend it for those looking to unwind and enjoy the beach in comfort.

The house is very new and in a nice gated condo neighborhood that is also new with parts still under construction. House is great - clean & large and the neighborhood has lots of great amenities. The only issue for us was the neighborhood security is overbearing. To check in, we had to send in passport copies for every person in our party prior to the stay. Further, after initial check in at the front gate they put wrist bands on all of us and made us wear them for our entire trip which was annoying and was not communicated until right before our check in. We were also disappointed to find out there was a washer/dryer in the house but we were not allowed to use it during our stay - and we had packed light assuming we could do laundry while there. If you don’t mind the intrusive security and don’t anticipate doing laundry, this is a great house in a nice neighborhood - large rooms and everything is clean and in great condition. The host communicates often, quick, and detailed.

However, these regulations are part of the condominium’s policies and are in place to maintain the safety and quality of the community. As noted in the Airbnb listing and also in the information we sent prior to your arrival, wristbands are required during the stay, and the laundry center is not available for guest use. Great place! Close to a lot of places to eat and to visit, but house is still private. As it’s in a gated community, safety is not a concern at all. Place is really cozy, confortable and private.
