Our stay was wonderful. We felt at home. The villa was impeccable, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The natural environment is spectacular. We enjoyed every detail, without a doubt, a perfect place to relax and create special memories.

We were a group of 6 (2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 pre-teens), and had a wonderful time. The house is very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The beds were all extremely comfortable, and the highlight for the kids was definitely the beautiful private pool — perfectly sized and at just the right temperature. We really appreciated being able to check in a bit early, which helped us align with the ferry schedule. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the beach, a small convenience store, and a nearby restaurant. We gave the property 4 stars mainly due to a few maintenance issues. One of the pool lounge chairs was broken, the coffee maker needs to be replaced, and the ice maker doesn’t function well (though there are trays). The home is a bit older, which isn’t a big deal, but the electrical outlet in the master bedroom didn’t work properly and needs attention. The host assured the issues would be addressed. Overall, we had a great stay and would return.

Next time please let us know immediately of any concerns, we could have addressed the coffee maker immediately and let you know the fridge / ice maker does work perfectly it just has a hard time keeping up with a family of 6. I regret slow communication before I arrive, with misunderstandings. The environment is a golf course, a nice place that could be nice if you could walk in the alleys that line the forest but if you are not golfers, all access is prohibited. So, if you walk around, it's on the paved road and along the houses. Luckily there is the sea very close. The house is big, comfortable and there is space but it's a little dark. There is beautiful grounds, the pool is nice as well. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bedding is correct, the decoration is nice however a lot of amenities outside are damaged rusted by the sea. For example, the dryer is rusty but it works great so it's not inconvenient for me. However, the outdoor glass table where I ate every day on it with a rusty perimeter bothered me.

We were disheartened to learn that our efforts were met with dissatisfaction and a 3-star review after our team went above and beyond on CHRISTMAS EVE to accommodate you. From early on you were demanding early access to our villa when upon booking it was clear check in is at 3pm to ensure our cleaners have had enough time to go through the property and prepare for you. Our cleaner arrived at 5am Dec 24th with a helper to ensure the home was ready for you and at 11am I let you know that you may have access to the villa. You then proceeded to demand that I let in an additional 10 people into my house for your Christmas dinner and you assured me it was not a party but just a family dinner. I was nice and allowed this at no charge. If Our team making all of this happen for you on CHRISTMAS EVE Not worth a full 5 stars I don’t know what is. The frustration on my end is real and I am disappointed that hard work resulted in this kind of review. I will not be renting to you again or being so accommodating to anyone demanding anything as a result of your rental. I wish you the best, and please keep in mind that we are real people working really hard and sometimes things aren’t able to happen but this time we did it. I am proud of our team and I hope future renters can see that we work hard even when we are crapped on. :(

Kristi’s home was beautiful and everything we wanted for vacation. The close proximity to the beach and the luxury of a private pool was amazing. The wildlife did not disappoint either. We were able to see scarlet Macaws, howler monkeys, iguanas and many other animals either right at the property or within a five minute walk of the property. Kristi and Lisa (property manager) were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure my family was comfortable and had what we needed. I would definitely recommend and would like to get back there in the future!

The pictures do not match what you walk into. Once a beautiful place, it needs a lot of maintenance… it has mold on multiple spots on the roof, has a dirty kitchen and utensils with food, AC does not work in one room, outside fans or lights don’t work, and the cherry on top was the numerous bugs crawling on the beds and sheets. The hostess never answered back after all those issues and has not returned our money after we had to leave after all those issues. Besides the good location, don’t waste your money staying here. What a waste of vacation it was. I would rate it NEGATIVE 5 stars.

First time being scammed on Airbnb. Unfortunately the guest inflated the state of the villa, stayed the entire time. In my write up I make it very clear that our villa is old and has clear wear and tear issues that do not affect the enjoyment of the villa. Anyone wanting a perfect villa is advised to go to one of the more expensive Brand NEW builds that charge double what we charge for 1/4 the size. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations but we did our best. I pay a property manager who Is ON SITE to deal with any issues after him having a conversation (IN PERSON) with you he was advised by you that "All is ok" and you carried on your vacation in full. Reading the entire profile before booking is very important as you would have noticed that I mentioned the villa is one of the oldest in the community located in a jungle which is much different than Florida, it will never be brand new or "perfect". I wish you the best in your travel and recommend a 5 STAR HOTEL for your next vacation.

We had a great time on Kristy’s place, she was very easy to talk to and the area is beautiful, my family had a great time, my kids enjoyed the pool and it is very close the beach, the only negative thing was the power outages in the area, this was not Kristy’s fault but we experienced several power outages during our stay

*location was amazing. *neighbours were great *great walking beach and roads *beach was great..sand clean...fun waves...small undertow *this is not a brand new build as they did tell us in description...if you are looking for a new build look elsewhere. This house was still great. Tons of room. 3 baths with 3 beds hard to find. A true Costa Rican house with a stain here and there. *Without a thought would return *Look up Harrys number in the house info book...we loved him. Used his services a couple days as a driver. *this area is very rural...nothing close by without driving. We were fine with this. Stocked up at Price Smart in Liberia on way. *take advantage of market at front gates on weekend.

I really liked the villa. It has a beautiful pool and is located near the beach. The house has some items that can be used as complementary activities either at home or on the beach (board games, badminton and bodyboard boards) which my kids enjoyed. I liked the equipped kitchen and the spacious patio. The villa is located in a quiet and peaceful place, ideal for resting. I liked the laundry area with washing machine and dryer available for us. Kristy is a very friendly and cordial person, a good host.

Location, location, location! It was perfect to be so close to one of the nicest beaches on the coast. The back yard was my favorite with a new pool with waterfall feature where you can watch the flock of Scarlett macaws 🦜 Fly by everyday. They live in the gated community along with other beautiful animals. Very safe and friendly people. There are tennis courts, a store and beach bar/restaurant right in the community which makes things easy. The Saturday farmers market is just up the road in Tambor town, short drive to Montezuma and Santa Teresa and the sun is always shining! We will most definitely be back to stay at Kristy's wonderful beach house!

Very nice place, the house is comfortable with a nice pool, very good service and Kristy was very kind. I didn't like the beach very much but driving 20 or 30 minutes you can go to nice beaches. highly recommended

Thanks for staying with us Carlos. Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the beach as much as others. The beach is maintained and all drift wood debris is removed regularly from December -April. Outside of the high season the administration lets it collect as it’s costly to maintain in the off season. I wish you and your family all the best and will welcome you back anytime in the future. The place is beautiful. The house is very comfortable, perfect for a group of 10. Friendly environment. Very close to the beach, we loved the pool. We spent a wonderful few days here. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the home has lots of board games and options for watching TV. We had a small issue at the entrance but it was quickly fixed. We also occupied extra mattresses and the host took care of us and I bring them very fast. The only thing would be that although it is pet friendly, the patio is not fenced then you have to have the pets inside the house. Even so, I recommend this place 100% and we would love to come back

The house is very nice, close to the beach and with a very large pool and a lot of garden. Perfect for families with children. Kristy is always available and helpful in any eventuality. We look forward to returning soon.

Very disappointing! This was our 4th Airbnb house in Costa Rica as we have been here for past 3 weeks. We got to the house after a 5 hr drive to find out that there no water in the house. We finally realized that the main water switch was turned off, I turned it on to find brown water coming from taps and a broken burst pipe in the backyard. The neighbor had to help fix the broken pipe so we could get water in the house. The toilets were extremely dirty/moldy and barely flushing, bathrooms were stinking with sewer like smell and the bedsheets were dirty and had body hair and various stains. The owner was rude and unhelpful. We had to checkout the next day and move into another property in the same Los Delfines golf community which was extremely well maintained and clean. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

I always appreciate the guests that stay in our villa’s however however this is the first time I had to suggest they would be more comfortable elsewhere. I always try and set expectations from the start with our listing information -Our villa is the largest in the community and older, located in rural Costa Rica which you can also see from the photos. It is not a modern new build & like old homes it may have it’s issues that I am ALWAYS willing to work through. Upon arrival they complained that the house was dirty even though our property manager did a walk through 24hrs before and checked it and showed me. They complained about the hard water stains in the toilet (to which my property manager arrived IMMEDIATELY upon me calling her) and scrubbed it with bleach in front of them to show it’s a stain from the hard water and they were told it was normal for this area. They complained about 1 tiny gecko poop they found, sure not the most fun but realism at play here. The home is in the jungle so it is entirely possible a gecko pooped somewhere in the home after a full cleaning and it wasn’t noticed in the walk through. They complained about crabs falling into the pool at night and were afraid to get in -I can understand being afraid but the pool is cleaned once a day every morning as outlined in our welcome book and they didn’t seem pleased that no one was around to scoop them out immediately. The is the unfortunate part of having an I ground pool located 200m from the ocean. As for the "brown water" this was identified from a pipe bursting IN the community not my house -once the taps are flushed the water returns back to normal. I'm shocked to hear that I was "rude & unhelpful" After taking every single call they placed to me, being very accommodating by having on site manager arrive quickly, having my full attention (interrupting Father’s Day dinner -my entire family was shocked at how this family was treating me :( ) I feel that did the best I could from them where it was apparent it wasn’t good enough so this is when I suggested that they may be more comfortable elsewhere. These guests would be best suited to staying in a full service resort with round the clock service or a brand new home that hasn’t had any hard water stains accumulated. I would not be willing to host them in the future. I do not find this kind of interaction to be honest from the renter. The home they rented after mine is a friend of mine which is a brand new build. I wished them well on their journey as I pride myself in never being rude, unlike how I was treated when I did everything I could do. Warning: This profile is a profile they just started for their cost rica trip, they are not being truthful by using their established Air profile for their "multiple properties" they said they have. I didn't appreciate learning this after they left the house.

We had a wonderful time in the village. Kristy is lovely and so kind, she was all the time available to attend our queries or needs. Excellent communication. The village was clean, pretty well organized and we had in there everything we needed.
