2BR Bungalow in Sámara

Caroline

OK, 1 year ago

Our stay was mixed The location was central but incredibly private with a lovely garden and pool. To sit on the patio and enjoy the morning parade of wildlife through the garden including Mumu the coati was gorgeous .Easy walking access to central Samara , laundry next street However facilities very basic minimal kitchenware no supplies even salt and pepper bathroom grungy couldnt use cupboards to put things in as grimy/ rusty/dank. Aircon excellent . Friendly and helpful Denise greeted us and gave advise on local area Our first destination in CR so perhaps suffering from grander expectations reflective of AirBNB standards in other countries

This is a great location and the grounds and pool are well kept. The place is very modest without a lot of amenities. The kitchen was a bit dirty and we didn’t cook at all or want to because of the ants. Luckily, it’s so close to town, there are many options for eating out. The lighting could be better as there isn’t really anywhere to read, sit comfortably in the living area, or hang out. The porch and garden was the best part of the whole experience. Easy check in, secure, and everyone was very nice. Samara was a great little beach town.

The house was great - really close to the beach, the swimming pool is shared but only between a few houses. There is a small kitchen, AC, and a little porch outside to hang out with a hammock. We were 4 people sharing 2 rooms worked out perfectly! There was space to leave the car inside the property, which is locked and guarded by someone at night. A minute away from the supermarket, and to bars. The only thing is that late at night you might hear some noise from the bar Arriba which is really close, but it was still ok. So overall I highly recommend it!
