⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great stay at Rick’s Place in Playa Guiones We (my wife, my daughter, and myself) stayed at Rick’s Place in Playa Guiones during the first week of August, and it turned out to be a perfect time to visit. Early August was a great choice — warm, consistent surf and an easy vibe around town. The location of Rick’s Place is hard to beat. It’s just a short walk to the waves, restaurants, and the local stores, which made everything simple and relaxed. The Airbnb itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed, so settling in was effortless and we could focus on enjoying Playa Guiones. A highlight for us was taking surfing lessons at Corky Carroll’s Surf School right on the property. Colin was fantastic with both me and my daughter — patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping us improve. Thanks to him, I was able to get up and ride the white water, which made the whole experience even better.

Had an easy, enjoyable experience at Rick’s place…location is where you want it to be, walkable to everything. The place has two great bedrooms, darkening shades for sleeping in, and a full kitchen with modern appliances. Wish there were more windows to experience the jungle life of Nosara, but there are lots of other positives…and working with Rick is a bonus because he’s so accommodating and easy to work with.

Our family of 4 loved our 9 day stay at Rick’s place! We felt safe, comfortable, and in a great location for walking to the beach, restaurants, local shops, and markets…his place is clean and updated. He was always very kind and responsive leading up to our stay and making sure we got our check in instructions. Highly recommend!!

The best location in all of Nosara! We rented a golf cart, with a reserved spot Rick got for us, but walked as much as we could to the beach, the bars, and local restaurants. Rick was more than responsive and by far the best host we’ve ever encountered on Air bnb. Our kids loved the outdoor pool and we loved all the birds and occasional monkeys who would hang around. We are definitely suggesting this place to all of our friends and look forward to staying here again.

Perfect spot! Pool is perfect size and beach is right down the way. Space was what we needed for family of 5! Gardens is lovely.

Rick’s place was amazing. Rick was a wonderful host and very accommodating. Located near Playa Guiones where are we enjoyed lots of great restaurants and shops. The ATV tour Rick recommended was excellent. The property is beautiful. The pool is lovely. The beds were comfortable in the AC was cold. We had such a great short day we would return.

We had the best experience at Rick's Place! My sister, niece, myself and my son stayed for 4 days and could not have been happier! Great walkability to restaurants, the beach and shops, super comfortable beds and pillows, beach towels, and everything you could need in the kitchen. Rick was great with communication and we even met him near the end of our stay. Just a really nice guy! If you are going to Nosara, Rick's place is where to stay!

Rick’s Place was wonderful. We enjoyed every minute. And Rick and his family were perfect hosts. His home was comfortable, quiet and just a few steps from the beach. It’s a surfer’s paradise hosted by wonderful people. Highly recommended.

Location, location, location! It’s a GREAT location! Can walk to everything. The place was so easy and Rick is fantastic! Truly can’t say enough here. Rick and everyone else around were extremely helpful with what ever was needed or if ya need a suggestion. Made the trip that much smoother and easier. All ya can ask for in a host. We had a great stay at Rick’s place in Playa Guiones. The house was very comfortable and well-equipped — especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from the beach, and the overall vibe is laid-back and peaceful. We were very happy with the rental.

I spent 4 days with my three kids aged 17-15-13 at Rick’s place and it was absolutely perfect. The apartment is spacious as everything you need to relax after a session of surfing. We appreciated the fully equipped kitchen the living room and we slept like babies in the two bedrooms equipped with their own AC unit and bathroom. We came to learn surfing and took lessons at Corky’s Carroll surf school owned by Collin, Rick’s son. It was our first experience with surfing and Collin booked us three lessons with Oscar and Andres. Collin’s school and instructors are the best in the industry. Thank you so much. The location of Rick’s place makes it very convenient to go surfing and relax in the pool and the shade surrounded by a beautiful garden where monkeys and birds come and go. Our stay at Rick’s place was excellent in every way. Can wait to come back next year.
