What a fantastic property! We loved the villa with a very comfortable bed. The deck with adirondack chairs was fantastic to sit out on in the morning and enjoy the sounds of the jungle. The pool was peaceful and it was fun being able to see the capuchin monkeys moving about in the trees. Definitely a place I would love to stay at again.

The location is hidden and beautiful! We loved our stay here! The wildlife is right outside, we saw many animals just outside our porch. The pool was amazing and fun to visit! We recommend!

Whilst the hotel looks lovely, it’s one of the noisiest hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. Even in the bungalows which were furthest from the street, the noise echoes across the property from YOLO, the onsite casino and the pool area where people are often drinking til late. It’s unfortunate as the property is very nice and the staff are friendly but the noise is inescapable. It should be highlighted that YOLO - which sits above the hotel reception - has live music 7-10pm. We were unaware of this.

Beautiful location, with quiet and tranquil surroundings. Lots of vendors, coffee and restaurants within walking distance. Only negative was the on-site food (la Poteza) was quite expensive for the value and the wifi was out during our stay. We loved YOLO which was directly above Ecoticas. The staff were great and provided awesome recommendations, while also making us feel super welcomed! Would recommend!!

Really great stay at Ecotica. Saw lots of wildlife and a very peaceful environment. Pool bar staff and reception staff incredibly helpful! Cocktails were great

This place was absolutely gorgeous and very private. We loved the interior and felt it was some homely but also luxurious too. Really close by to some fantastic restaurants and of course walking distance to the beach. Make sure you take some cash on you for the bus on the way back up - It’s a bit of a climb which was ok in the evenings but quite hot during the day! Thanks again for having us, would 100% recommend!

The bungalow is exactly as shown in the photos; in fact, it may be even more beautiful in person. The bed really is very comfortable and large. Overall, the best thing about the hotel is the common area; the pool area is beautiful. At 5:00 pm, the monkeys come down very close to this area, and you can see them quite well. The hotel is located in a very touristy area, and restaurant prices are generally high; in fact, they have a restaurant within the hotel complex. We loved our stay there, and we would definitely come back.

Ecotica is great. Really comfortable bed in a spacious room in a nice environment. The pool is good and the drinks at the bar tasty. Breakfast is good too. The problem we had was with the admin. We booked 4 nights through Airbnb (admitedly across 2 bookings of 1 day and 3 days - so a little bit complex). They were only able to accomodate us for 2 nights - there was a mistake with their in-house system - giving us this info the afternoon of our second day. So we had to find somewhere else at short notice. We were disappointed to leave - we were really enjoying our stay.

Really nice hotel and absolutely amazing grounds! the wildlife around the pool is crazy we saw monkeys and a family a macaws. The room are spacious clean and the beds super comfortable. The bathroom were spotless and it was nice have good coffee in the morning. The place is really well located1 walking from great restaurant, bakery, and small super market. the entrance of the park is 7 minutes drive! One of best massage I had was at the hotel spa amazing! Do it! We highly recommend ecotica. The staff is really friendly and accommodating! Hope be back here someday!

The grounds were very nice and the on-site restaurant was good and had entertaining music during dinner. Our fridge was too cold and a drink exploded in it amd the water bottles froze. A tip for others that there are many stairs that need to be navigated to get to the bungalows. It had wild life around it and I enjoyed waking up to the howler monkeys.

Ecotica is lovely little gem in the heart of Manuel Antonio. It’s hidden in a tropical oasis setting. The individual bungalows are spacious, clean and all of a patio or veranda. The pool area is relaxing with comfy lounge beds. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance. The staff are helpful and extremely responsive. There are lots of white faced monkeys and they are fun to watch.
