We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Elsa. We were a family of six with four teenagers, and it was the perfect home base in Manuel Antonio. The house is surrounded by lush rainforest with beautiful Pacific views, yet still very convenient to the beaches, restaurants and National Park. The house was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, with plenty of cookware, dishes and basic supplies. Susan, the house manager, was fantastic… responsive, incredibly helpful and very accommodating with our arrival and special requests. She made everything easy from start to finish. Casa Elsa gave us exactly the tropical Costa Rica experience we were hoping for. We would absolutely stay here again.

Best place to stay I've had on all my trips! The open air allows you to truly experience nature. We saw capuchins several times, and they passed very close by. Howler monkeys greeted us twice with their cries, macaws fly over the area, and raccoons and coatis roam around... in short, it's the full package! 😀 The entire team is very attentive and provides exceptional service. This was our first family trip with 5- and 9-year-olds, and the bar is very high after this place.

In a word- magical. Nestled in the hills of Manuel Antonio is this gem of a place. I can’t say enough good things about Scott’s place or about the people that support this Airbnb. From the concierge Susan to the daily maid service (our clothes would be washed and neatly folded waiting after the days activities) to Alessandro the personal chef who made us a lovely dinner. They were all incredible. Scott sent excellent recommendations for local restaurants over around check-in. The whole group that supports this place ensures that the stay is nothing short of memorable. The description of the house is accurate but we especially enjoyed the newly renovated bathrooms in each of the rooms, the pool table, taking dips in the pool and soaking up all the beauty and nature that surround and visit you during your stay. Thank you for everything and we look forward to coming back and sharing with others in our family.

Brought my kids and my grand kids here. The house was amazing! Looks the same as the pictures. Lots of monkeys, birds and other wildlife coming through daily. Susan the concierge was top notch. She helped us out with an everything from local restaurants, to helping us open safes. Bedrooms were nice and chilly and the main rooms were very inviting. The maid was outstanding and the chefs that were scheduled for us were outstanding. I recommend this house 100%. Scott’s on top of his game with this one! Thanks for the incredible time and memories made!

We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Calma. Scott's house was gorgeous. It felt like you were right in the jungle but only a few minutes away from everywhere we wanted to go. The house was so clean and the kids loved playing in the pool every day. Wai contacted us immediately after booking to help organize tours for us. Our kids (3, 6 and 9) absolutely loved Sukias Zip Lining and we saw so many animals at Manual Antonia with a tour guide. Wai met us when we first checked in to show us the house and checked in the make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The location was great and all of the restaurants, beaches and tours we wanted to go to were less than 5 minutes away, which made it easy to go back to the house to relax in between outings. Overall, would highly recommend!!

What an incredible place. We saw monkeys (different types!) daily, had multiple sloth sightings including a day where we saw 2 at the same time, and felt like we were in the jungle. Scott and Wai were so responsive and we had a wonderful time.

Excellent place to stay, photos don’t do it justice, highly recommend!

This is a 5* place, however, the balcony patio could use a couple more ceiling fans as there's very little breeze since the house is surrounded by jungle and hills. The daily housekeeping service is excellent and doesn't interfere with your privacy. I was there for three weeks and found the house to be comfortable and secure.

Casa Bamboo is a wonderful home away from home! The concierge, Susan, was very helpful and responsive - she showed up 5 minutes after we discovered the keys were locked inside the house to rescue us! Being completely surrounded by the rainforest was an amazing experience. We were visited by monkeys, we saw a sloth in the tree, and we listened to the sounds of howler monkeys at sunrise and sunset. The housekeepers did an amazing job of keeping everything clean, including laundry, so it felt like a true vacation. Maybe important to know - the house is at the bottom of a very steep neighborhood. We had no trouble getting taxis to come to us. But if you want to take the bus to town, I believe you have to walk to the top of the neighborhood, which was prohibitive for my in-laws. The rest of us made it fine, and there is a great spot just outside the neighborhood with restaurants and a souvenir shop. A few minute drive to beautiful beaches and many adventurous activities. Highly recommend!

Casa Tranquilidad was absolutely amazing. The private chefs (Renzo and Roberto) were excellent and incredibly helpful. Everything we booked through Susan was on time, incredibly fun, and she answered all of our questions within minutes. It was everything I dreamed of for my birthday trip!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is exactly as pictured and described. We were lucky enough to see monkeys and lizards. We took advantage of the amenities and had the best time. Perfect for a large family. Thanks so much

We had a great stay in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. The home’s open-air upstairs living area made it feel like you were right in the jungle—such a beautiful and unique experience. We loved seeing monkeys and hearing the howler monkeys right from the house. Downstairs had two comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a private pool that was perfect for relaxing. Carlos was a great host, and Wai, the on-site concierge, was wonderful. He welcomed us, helped book our fishing trip, Manuel Antonio National Park tour, and an in-house chef, and was very easy to reach. He even came by to say goodbye the morning we left, which was a really nice touch. The home is open to nature, so you do get a true jungle experience. The house was cleaned daily, and the location was excellent—close to the beach, restaurants, and everything we wanted to do. Overall, a really unique and memorable stay—we would definitely come back.
