We loved our week here! Less than 5 minute walk to a great surf beach with access for great surfing guide. The private pool was a treat to return to to cool off from the beach and just vibe. The 3 bedrooms on the lower floor stayed cool with minimal need for A/C. The upper floor fans kept it tolerable for hanging out up there. The outdoor verandas were clean with comfortable furniture. The property manager was super helpful in arranging surf lessons and tours. The local restaurant suggestions were perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Beltza. The house is really well designed and fit the Costa Rica vibe. We’ll be back for sure :)

this was our second time staying in this beautiful location and home. we can't wait to enjoy it again. playa Negra is a very special place and this home is perfect for enjoying all the surrounding activities aswell as just hanging out at the home itself. we can't recommend this place enough!

We took our family of 5 to stay at Playa Negra this past week, and booked Rafa's place inside Hotel Playa Negra. It was as beautiful as the pictures suggest, so we were not disappointed! The house is private, large enough for a family of 6 (or a few couples), the pool is gorgeous and the location is situated a few minutes from a beautiful beach with great surf (working at all tides). If you're looking for a location with "night life" go elsewhere, as this town is sleepy. Also, recommend to stock up on groceries in Liberia or Tamarindo as groceries and restaurants are VERY expensive! Great stay at Rafa's, enjoy the howler monkeys that come right up to the second story deck and iguanas too! FYI the upstairs kitchen/common area do not have A/C. If breeze is blowing it's fine, but if you are sensitive to humidity/warm temps - then keep this in mind. All in all, this is a beautiful house and location, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our kids had a blast too!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Los Pargos at Playa Negra. Having access to the hotels amenities but secluded enough in our own home. Best of both worlds. Carla is an absolute angel! She communicated daily with us with local recommendations and truly cared about how we were doing. We will definitely come again! The house was perfect for our big family. Overall we had a perfect 8 days in beautiful Costa Rica.

Costa Rica in July is hot! Even the heat couldn’t keep us from hanging out on the covered patio. It was our favorite spot! The The howler monkeys would visit in the afternoon through the mango trees on the property with the patio being an amazing viewing spot. Our concierge, Carla, was amazing. She met us at arrival and was extremely helpful with all our questions and recommendations. Being on the hotel property was amazing. We took yoga, ate at the restaurant and watched a sunset every night as the beach is a quick walk from the house. We also rented boards from the hotel shop. The area felt very safe and with Carla’s restaurant recommendations ate some fantastic food.

Great house. The host was great and very attentive. The house cleaner was great too. Love the outdoor large sitting area, the pool, the location, and the beds! A 2-3 min down a trail to the beach and the “clubhouse” area. Would definitely rent again.

I can't imagine a better stay in Playa Negra than the beautiful Casa Beltza. Carla was an amazing host, she was responsive to any needs, provided us with excellent local recommendations and made us feel at home the second we arrived. The beauty of the house and location is beyond words - and I can honestly say the pictures don't even begin to do it justice. I will absolutely stay here when I return, and everyone in our group is already planning return trips with their families. Gracias por todo!

Casa Beltza was a perfect home away from home that we managed to luckily find after checking into our originally booked Airbnb in the area that was completely misrepresented. Within an hour of reaching out, we were warmly greeted by the host. Hosts were very responsive to all questions and offered us loads of information about the area (where to eat, activities, etc). The house was immaculate and beautiful! Completely shaded upper balcony for the hottest hours of the day and a beautiful cool salt water infinity pool that was totally private for our own use. The bedrooms were well appointed with air conditioning, en suites, and king sized beds. Kitchen was well stocked, though we didn’t use it much as the on site restaurant was delicious (as well as local restaurants). We loved the direct access to the beach and watching those famous Costa Rican sunsets each evening. I’ve rented numerous places around the world and in Costa Rica. This one is my new favourite. Thank you so much!

This house is spectacular! Downstairs there are private bedrooms, most with attached bathrooms. Large, beautifully designed common space upstairs. Great layout!!! And a stunning pool!

Great house - Great location!!

We stayed for a month at Casa Beltza, and we loved it! there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, it was great to have a bathroom attached to three of the bedrooms. We love spending time in the open air kitchen and upstairs area, we often saw monkeys, tropical birds , and horses from the porch. With the breeze from the ocean it never got too hot up there either. It ended up being our favorite place up there! you could hear the ocean from up there and from inside the bedrooms, I loved to sleep to that sound at night. Having The Resort nearby and being able to use their facilities and restaurant was fantastic. The surfing was epic! can’t wait to return…
