Very nice hosting by Silvia. The space was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly matches the photos. The terrace is superb, and we were able to see a couple of deer. Great location for visiting the volcano. Thank you for the fruit upon arrival. We recommend Silvia's place.

Silvia had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat on our stay. They were very accommodating for our last minute trip and we loved the beautiful property! The hammocks were wonderful and beautiful at night as well.

My wife and I enjoyed the Cozy House. It’s right next to a papaya plantation which was fun to see. The location is peaceful and secluded, away from crowds yet conveniently located a short drive to town as well as other attractions. Silvia was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed sitting in the patio out back and watched the hummingbirds every morning while enjoying our coffee. Beautiful macaws blessed us with a short visit each morning.

Silvia was kind and very helpful. The area has lots of fun activities. We went hiking, to 2 different hot springs and Silvia was kind enough to book a horseback riding tour. Great stay, great host. The back of the home has a big patio with hammocks- we spent a lot of time there and saw a pair of red macaws nesting nearby

So, our trip started a bit rocky — power went out, we struggled to find the entrance, and there was an invasion of big ants. But the hosts were SO helpful. Power came back, ants left after some spray and didn’t return, and by our first morning we could enjoy the outside, which is stunning. We saw so many birds, including parrots and macaws. WiFi was good. Everything was clean. AC is slow but cools everything down eventually. Location is good — La Fortuna isn’t far. Inside is basic, but functional. If you want something where you can really bird watch, this is tops.

We enjoyed the walking paths behind the property. Located a short drive outside of the main town area. Very friendly host.

First of all, Silvia is a very sweet, helpful and friendly host. Upon arrival, she showed us what was possible in the area in terms of activities and helped us book everything! In the garden, we spotted a lot of animals from the hammock, namely: toucans, different types of parrots, hummingbirds and squirrels. The location itself is quiet and private because you are outside the town itself (about 20 minutes drive) which we liked very much. It is advisable to rent a car. We had a great time here and definitely recommend this Airb&b!

We stayed at 5 different places during our trip to Costa Rica and this was easily our favorite! It is about 20 minutes from town but we are from a small city so the drive felt like nothing. Better yet, it helped being away from all the traffic of the area. There is ton to do here and it really felt like a cute home. The hostess is wonderful and very helpful.

5 stars — Beyond Amazing Stay! Silvia was absolutely incredible. Not only was her place beautiful and comfortable, but she went above and beyond to make our entire week unforgettable. She personally helped schedule all of our adventures—everything from white water rafting and zip lining to ATV tours and rappelling. She even arranged all the pickups so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. On top of that, she gave us tons of helpful recommendations for local restaurants, bakeries, fruit stands, banks, and supermarkets. Her hospitality and attention to detail made this one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. Highly recommend!

Amazing place to stay! Sylvia is very fast to respond and super helpful! She helped give us a ton of recommendations that did not disappoint.

I have to start off by thanking and complimenting Silvia. I’ve never had a host communicate as proactively and warmly as Silvia did. She helped us book activities and was ever available when we got lost trying to get to the home (our fault), even greeting us at check in. The home is exactly as it looks and is very cozy. In our opinion, its best feature is its location. No activity is too far (45 mins was the longest we travelled and that was to Mistico Hanging Bridges, everything else was within 20-30 mins). The other great feature is the backyard and grounds. The home is on a papaya farm, which made one of our slower mornings very fulfilling. The patio was relaxing after a long day of hiking and physical activity. We sat out at night and looked at stars and swung on the hammocks :) Not a knock on the home itself but just be prepared for insects around. They did not get in the home often but since it’s a warm humid climate, they are around (it took us a day to get used to).

What can I say about Silvia that has not already been said. She is VERY responsive!!! The actual cottage wouldn’t come up on my GPS, so she gave me another location and waited for us. She gave the most amazing recommendations for places to eat and both “sodas” were great!! We also visited the supermarket she recommended too. Although we booked our own tours, Silvia was more than willing to help do that too. She is a great hostess!! 10/10 we’d do it again!

We spent three nights at Silvia’s place and we can definitely recommend it. When we arrived Silvia was already waiting for us and showed us the place. She stayed with us and went through all possible activities in the area which we were very grateful for because we didn’t have the time to plan ahead. To our big surprise she organized our activities as well. She was very helpful and flawless in her communication. The place is 10 minutes away from la Fortuna which is really not a big deal if you have a car, it’s literally just down the street. We really enjoyed our time and thanks to Silvia for her support and her hospitality.

We had a fantastic time here! Nice house with a nice space to sit outside. Silvia is very nice and gave us good tips. Highly recommended!
