This was the second time we stayed here and it is even more beautiful than I had remembered. It is a steep walk down to the lake and a long walk back up but it is worth it. We were able to book a private tour and the launcha picked us up at the private pier. We paid extra to have the pool heated and that also was totally worth it. We had a large group and they all enjoyed it.

We went with my family. The house is spectacular. It's a mansion Beautiful with an amazing view!!! The photos posted don't do it justice!!! The rooms are super comfortable, and you can see the lake from anywhere in the house!!!! The kitchen is beautiful, the living room has a TV to watch a movie with the family!! Heated pool, barbecue, you can access the lake by going down the stairs (there are several but it's worth it. During my two-day stay we went up and down about 4 times. It's very safe, there are breaks) and when you get there there's a pergola that's ideal for a barbecue!! We bathed in the lake. The people who helped us in the kitchen were super friendly!!! The housekeeper helped us at all times!!! We will definitely return to the house and the experience was amazing!!!

Very nice place, the photos don't do it justice... we had a good time as a family, the service was good, the facilities well cared for, clean, quiet and you enjoy nature... Pd. it's worth paying for the pool heating

Beautiful home...BUT BEWARE. The home is very beautiful and comfortable. Some of the amenities(washer/dryer and dishwasher) listed are not available. The paddleboat slip is extremely slippery and dangerous. I slipped and got a concussion and thankfully my sister was with me and was able to pull me out. PLEASE be very careful as there is no warning signs or rope to climb back on. Do not go down to the lake by yourself.

Los Amates house it’s an amazing mansion. The housekeeping and caretakers are extremely helpful and always ready to help. They spoiled us since our arrival and made our experience an unforgettable one. About the place, it’s a beautiful place, we felt ourselves at home. The access to the lake it’s a bit rough but it definitely worth it. The pier could be better as it’s short to dive in the lake but if you’re not too demanding, you could have a very fun time swimming at the lake. We had a rough start, the preparation for our check-in was late by the admin and we got requested personal info from my guests on a very short notice. This gave me unnecessary stress while I was on vaccinations. Luckily, arriving to the place, the local staff made me forget about the bad time and me and my family enjoyed an unforgettable time together.

Very nice views , separate social area from the rooms, they share bathroom every two rooms, kitchen, living room and dining room in the same area, access to the lake. 2.5 hours walk from the city, good access to the house.

The place is very nice, and the service people are very attentive, however there were details that totally overshadowed this. We booked more than 2 months before and at 2 hours after arriving the owner called in a haughty and abusive way to say that we had to vacate because she was going to arrive with her family the next day. Luis, the host, said he would try to fix it but nothing, there was no other place to go with my family visiting from Europe and USA. We had to return to the capital the next day. They reimbursed us part of the expense but I am still waiting for the supplement, although in principle they offered it immediately, then on January 3 and today 7 I have not received it. it seems like this is the first time that has happened to us, but it was fatal for us offered other places but where we didn't all fit.
