A breathtaking location and cottage. We stayed right in the forest, surrounded by beautiful flora. Howler monkeys and birds were all around us. The food in the restaurant was divine, made with high-quality local ingredients, with excellent options for both us and the children. We also really enjoyed visiting the farm, picking mangoes and drinking fresh coconut water.

I enjoy staying here. The cabin is really beautiful, the mango tree, the people and the location were something I really liked. I just wished Someone picked up the phone when I called a few times.

Ok where to begin? I cannot say enough about how restorative and beautiful this property is - and I imagine the same of any of the casitas on the Selvista farm. It’s definitely as described; a treehouse casita, so yes there are monkeys and birds and geckos talking at all hours - if you’re a light sleeper bring some earplugs, but for me honestly I loved it, along with fireflies dancing around in the evenings and the sounds of tropical rainstorms. The staff on property are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and all in such sincere community with one another - a lot of laughter and genuine enthusiasm coming from the kitchen - which I think needs to be on a Michelin list asap. Fresh, local, straight from the farm, ingredients make for super nourishing meals; something as simple as home baked bread and tomatoes becomes elevated when the quality is so high - coffee with coconut milk and honey, I couldn’t get enough. We hope to come back soon, the entire experience was magic ✨✨✨

We loved our stay at Selvista Guesthouse! We had an amazing time there. A big thank you to Javier and the other workers. We loved the tour around the property and the communication was always very good and they always helped us with everything :)

Beautiful place right in the middle of the jungle with a fantastic view of the volcano. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was very tasty and original – you can tell that a lot of effort has been put into it. The staff were all incredibly kind and warm; we felt very comfortable. The path to the property is a bit bumpy; you should be careful, especially if you're riding a scooter, but it's definitely doable. However, since the property is located right in the middle of the jungle, you shouldn't be afraid of spiders. For us, that was exactly what gave it its special charm. We were very pleased and would come back anytime!

I had such a great experience at the Jackfruit house. The Selvista team was so kind and polite and made me feel very welcome. The rooms are beautiful, sheets were silky smooth, breakfast was delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough.

We stayed at the cabins for a few nights. Location is close enough to town to walk and quiet. Kitchen was well equipped and the wifi worked extremely well. Communication with the affiliated Selvista Experience was quick and helpful. The restaurant at Selvista was delicious with reasonable prices (albeit portions on the smaller side).

Fantastic stay, hosts were awesome, sorted out bikes, fishing, transfers etc for us and even arranged for my charger to be returned to me when I forgot it

Wonderful! Private two-story accommodation with two bedrooms in the heart of the forest, secluded from civilization, in a quiet and peaceful environment with only the company of monkeys and birds. Very clean accommodation, effective mosquito nets to keep insects out. We had a lovely stay; I would come back if I visit the island again one day.
