The home and gardens were lovely. The resort was beautiful, we saw a baby sloth on our way to the house!!!!

My husband and I had the time of our lives here. Day one rode into town on a water taxi to get provisions and I cooked a nice Panamanian breakfast everyday. We went to Monkey Island then went snorkeling and had lunch at an amazing local over the water restaurant. The water was crystal clear. There are many many tours, things to do and places to explore. There are sloths everywhere, large green parrots, all kinds of birds and animals. Close by are many beachside restaurants and bars. Not to mention they’re own restaurant bar and pool. A really nice pool. Then there’s the beaches. You’re surrounded by the most amazing beaches I’ve ever seen. The house is large, comfortable, air conditioned and has its own beautiful private pool. We couldn’t have been happier here and we will be back again! P.S. Don’t miss the massage at the spa. One of the best massages I’ve ever had. You won’t be disappointed. The staff here goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience possible.

This is our 2nd visit to Red Frog. It is a magical place and the people are lovely. One MAJOR downside is the golf cart situation. Even though we booked several months in advance, they would not guarantee us a golf cart. Kept saying it was subject to availability. Knowing the terrain and distance between places on the island and my husband's bad hip, this was not only important for our stay, but vital. We reiterated this to them many times prior to our trip but as we feared, there was no golf cart when we checked in. We eventually got one a few days into our trip after practically begging. When we'd check on the status every day, we were told sorry - there is a large group coming who pre-paid for several carts. WTF? I would have pre-paid for a cart if that option would have been given! We used the shuttle, but as others have mentioned, sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't. We love this place but won't be back unless we are guaranteed a golf cart.

Sorry about that, we had a tv film crew filming at the resort at the time who had pre-booked all the golf carts, however, we have ordered an additional new fleet so we can guarantee you a complimentary cart on your next visit. thanks

Red frog is a beautiful resort with lots of potential. Our villa was clean and BIG. Exceeded our expectations. Beach is beautiful. Staff was friendly when you spoke to them. GM was working hard. We were there for a week. Also comp’d us one way transportation. Cons (Christmas week review) -over promise and under deliver is the theme here. -We were promised in writing a two twin room and we got a bed and a roll away instead. -We were promised a golf cart in writing and never got it. -Sometimes they showed up with golf cart when I text them and sometimes they did not. -Sometimes they answer the phone and sometimes they did not. -The food is terrible at La Rosa.

This resort is great! Amazing views and nice accommodations made it ideal for our trip with family. Highly recommend renting a golf cart for easy access to everything. All the places to eat were good and the staff are all so friendly. We will be back!

Agosto was very patient with us! There were a couple of mishaps with our villas. The staff tried to accommodate us as best as they could. I will visit again! Honestly for future note, if you used Airbnb to book at this resort make sure to confirm what all is included in the Airbnb rental. If you rent through the resort you receive transportation to and from airport. You will need to rent a golf cart as well which is not included. Overall our stay at Red Frog was good. Thanks to the staff that tried their best to make our trip the best ever!

We have stayed at Red Frog Beach Resort twice now. We love the location, the beaches, the main pool area and the wildlife. After a difficult first day of working out with the resort which Villa we would be staying in for the week the remainder of our trip was perfect. Make sure to verify your Villa # in advance. They use the same picture for the Airbnb website. Not all Villas are the same or in the same location. Also, request a golf cart in advance or you will be wasting a lot of your time walking the property as it is expansive.

We have 60 different rental properties in 15 different listing categories and the way our PMS integration works with airbnb is that we have 1 listing for each category of several villas, rather than different listings for each particular villa, hence the photos of specific villas which may be slightly different to the villa assigned in the same category. So sorry for that confusion. Our reservations team are always happy to share the photos and location of the specific villas available in each category for the guest to choose. This villa #13 is exceptional. The view is fantastic especially from infinety pool. The elevation was great to just open the sliding doors from the spacious balcony and let the breezes blow through. We did turn on ac at night and slept very comfortably in the 2 master suites. We really enjoyed sitting on balcony watching the parrots and monkeys. This resort is big so highly recomend renting golf cart to go to beaches and restaurants. Serigo at front desk was excellent in helping us with all boat transfers and all excursions. The La Rue resturant was excellent on every meal from breakfast to dinner and all cocktails. All staff was excellant there as well. The Palmara resturant on beach is a beach bar n grill it was hit n miss. We will be back loved this villa and resort.

First Red Frog is a great place. Beautiful, great service and plenty to do. As was mentioned in another post, there tends to be only one Air BnB booking with general pictures of the villas so you don’t get what is in the place you book. I’ve also stayed at Air BnBs around the world and I rent an air BnB and this really needs to get fixed. People travel too far to the Red Frog to not get exactly what they pay for. Having said that, when I brought up that the place wasn’t the same as I rented and requested a refund through Air BnB, I did get put into the Villa with the pool in the picture (#28). Originally we were in #54 without an ocean view. The place was amazing. Atmosphere at the beach club is great, food and drinks are okay. Palmar’s food is better but more of a hostel environment. They need to get that chef and bar tender to the beach club. The staff and service were really fantastic here as well. Always helpful and they don’t seem to be well connect or in on the Air BnB postings so better coordination is needed. I would definitely stay here again if I could get a guarantee that the place I book is the place i stay at. They need to put all the villas up on the site with villa numbers and exact pics.

Our group of 4 adults really enjoyed our time at Red Frog Beach Resort! Daniela was responsive as an Airbnb host & the staff at Red Frog were delightful to work throughout our stay. Daniela's place is even more spacious than we expected! Also with comfortable beds, AC throughout, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking! Our group shopped for all of our breakfast & lunch essentials at the Mini-store onsite & enjoyed eating dinners out at La Rosa (on site) & Palmar (walking distance) & Bibi's (water taxi). We spent our mornings enjoying our coffee as we sat on the back covered veranda overlooking at he ocean & the amazing jungle canopy view. None of us were into birdwatching before our stay but we quickly became enamored with this hobby during our mornings on the veranda!!! The birds are amazing to watch & to listen to! We typically called a golf cart ride or walked down to the beach & club area each day & then enjoyed many late afternoons back at the house by our private pool. we highly recommend Daniela's place as a great place to relax & get away from city life.
