This is a the perfect place to relax, unwind and explore the idyllic fishing village of Garza. Directly across the street from La Malacrianza (the best restaurant) and Blue Garza (the best mini super) in the area. And a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach with relaxing tide pools that our daughter loved to float in. The home is exactly as pictured. and you won't meet a kinder or more helpful host! Gabriel was always around to answer any questions we had (and even gave us a lift to the beach!) The large back patio was a highlight to hang out in the shade during the day and relax in the evening. The coffee that was provided was great to wake up to. And the whole property was very clean and maintained with great care!

Host Response

very kind Jamie. We did enjoy so much you and your beatifull family!! Will wait for you next year!!

Upon arrival we had trouble opening the gate. The key has its trick. Upon entering the pool it looked dirty and with insects, including large black abyspas. The apartment was boiling, the air conditioners did not turn on. The heat was unbearable. In the unit we could not leave food or sodas anywhere because too many ants arrived immediately, we asked for disinfectant and we were given one and we had to clean the entire floor and kitchen furniture to remove them. There are four apartments very close together so there is not much privacy to talk about or use the pool. But the apartments are beautiful and are 5 minutes from the beach by car. There were a lot of black abyspas. At night to go out there were no lights and it was difficult to head to the Parqueo. The dishwasher soap as well as the shampoo and body soap were very diluted with water. Los pro: apartments with nice details. Close to the beach. A quiet area. Friendly and respectful owners. They give recommendations.

We stayed with Gabriel for three nights and were delighted with the place. The outdoor area is beautifully designed and offers a lot of privacy. For our four-year-old son, the pool was perfect – he spent a lot of time there. The accommodation corresponds exactly to the pictures and offers enough space for a family. Everything was very clean, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. It was also convenient that we could do our laundry. In the surrounding area, there is a very good restaurant, a small (slightly more expensive) supermarket and the beautiful beach where we spent a lot of time. Gabriel was a superb host. He lives in a house right next door, was always very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to our inquiries.

We loved our little blue casita! Gabriel was welcoming and responsive to questions. Each bedroom has its own mini-split AC, and we appreciated the on-site washer/dryer. We had the house at the back of the property, and we not only enjoyed the privacy, but the ranchito behind us had horses, who were fun to hang out with while we ate our meals on the spacious and well-furnished back deck. The prices at the convenience store across the street are high, but the selection is excellent, so perfect for emergencies. We shopped at Super Rinde Mas market in Nosara, and our kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home. The beach that’s listed as a 5-min walk was actually more like 15, which was totally fine. We saw monkeys along the way, and the beach itself is idyllic and not crowded. Great place to chill, take a long shoreline walk, and watch the sunset. Nosara was just a quick drive away, and I’m really glad we stayed in Garza.

Our family had a great 4 days ! Our kids loved the hammock and plunge pool for cooling off. A bonus was seeing horses off the back porch when they came up to eat from their pasture. The back porch was the perfect place to hang out in the evening. Great restaurant and mini market right across the street. The beach was probably a 15 minute walk with kids, but about a 5 minute drive over the dirt road , which we opted for. Beautiful, secluded beach. We enjoyed the quiet, chill vibe of Playa Garza and would definitely stay again. Thank you Gabriel !
