The host family are lovely, and the room does the job however it does match the clearly outdated photos, the room shown was not the one we were given sadly. Good location however.

We had to stay 3 nights, we shortened our stay. That's to say. The accommodation absolutely does not correspond to the photos that had to be taken 10 years ago (dirt, disgusting walls, no hammocks or nice little garden to rest in. Everything is dilapidated) We waited more than 2 hours for our room because they had given it to someone else when they were warned that we would arrive at 2pm and that we had confirmed this room, in view of the previous comments. In the photos of the room there is an A/C. At no time is it written on the listing that to use it you have to pay an extra $10. As compensation for the wait, I asked Ruddy to kindly make a gesture (like lowering the price to $5 or alright offering us this use). He categorically declined. His wife came to see us and told us she would fix the problem, she never came back. Glorias and his other son are adorable, a shame

Actually very cute place with a small garden, but the dog barked almost continuously at night, which is why we slept very little. Otherwise, great location

Ruddy’s place is in a quiet location walking distance to the center and to great cafes and restaurants. Cynthia and Felix were great hosts, both helpful and kind. The only criticism we had was the misunderstanding on the website as it is in Spanish . We thought we were paying for an A/C room but in fact it was just a simply fan. The room was incredibly hot so difficult to sleep in. Learn from our mistake; ensure you know what you are paying for !
