We loved our stay for 10 days. The house is very much in the jungle and the sounds at night are amazing. The swimming pool is fantastic and we enjoyed using it every day.

The Loras property is beautifully located and private in the middle of the jungle. The pool area in particular is comfortably designed and offers great views; you can relax here and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. But a few points bothered us. In the pool area, there are cameras installed that are pointed at the sunbathing lawn and the barbecue area. While we understand the need for security, we still found it uncomfortable that areas where people often spend time in their swimsuits were being filmed. Unfortunately, the shower was mostly cold, and the cleanliness in the bathroom, especially in the shower area, could have been better. Also, both air-conditioning units were quite noisy, so we turned them off at night. Overall, a great location and a beautiful pool area, but with compromises in terms of comfort and privacy.

The location was ok as long as you’ve got transportation. The layout was good for our family. However, it wasn’t cleaned well. There were whisker hairs from shaving all over the sink and long hairs stuck on the floor in the bathroom. There were multiple dead bugs through the house including one with ants on the kitchen counter. We’ve stayed in many places in Costa Rica and a key to managing the insects is to keep everything clean and food put away. Yes insects happen but we’ve always found places clean upon arrival. There was also what we thought was sand on the bedside table / bed frame. When I indicated that I noticed we were advised it was termites and it was booked to be dealt with. Overall the cleanliness / maintenance of the property could be improved. (Windows, Fans etc need cleaning as well). It was also advertised that there was a safe which there was not. When I inquired they realized it was a mistake in the listing.

Viviana's Property was stunning, lush and beautifully done. It was very comfortable for our stay. We had great communication throughout our stay. There is no cell service here and unfortunetly the wifi was not working either so we had to drive to town to work during the days but she did send someone out to try and fix the issue but was never resolved. Also the hot water worked intermittently for a minute at a time so beware of that. Althought it is a very secluded and you think you have total privacy be aware that there are multiple hidden cameras throughout the property watching every angle on the outside. Thank you :)

Thank you for your review and for acknowledging the beauty of our property. We would like to clarify one important point for future guests: All cameras on the property are fully disclosed, not hidden. They are explicitly listed in our Airbnb listing description, detailed in our digital and printed house manual, and clearly marked with signage throughout the property. They are installed for everyone's safety and monitor only exterior areas. Regarding the WiFi, the issue was reported two days after the failure occurred, on a Saturday, and our technician was on-site Monday at noon to address it. We also want to note that our second internet service at the pool area remained fully functional throughout the weekend, providing an alternative workspace. We sincerely apologize for the hot water inconsistency. As with any remote property, occasional issues can arise, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve them. Beautiful place! We were very comfortable during the 12 days we were there. The house is very comfortable and well equipped and is only 10 minutes from the beach (by car). Beautiful pool area! We appreciate the flexibility of the check-out! Just a few recommendations for improvement: - replace garbage bags and toilet paper every 3-4 days and remove garbage (we had to ask constantly) and toilet paper should be considered for the entire stay, not just for 3 days - The A/C in the second bedroom is quite old and very noisy, it works anyway but it could be renovated

Beautiful house 5 minutes' drive from the beach. In a lush jungle with lots of birds, waking up to the sound of toucans every morning was heavenly. Wonderful stay

The place was amazing! After our three-hour drive from San José, we arrived at the picturesque accommodation. Beautiful views of the Pacific from the pool. Our kids loved the pool. The property itself is exactly as shown on the pictures. On the complex itself, you feel right at home. Beaches are nearby by car (about 10-15 minutes). I can recommend the place 100% if we want to vacation near Uvita.
